< Psalms 25 >
1 A psalm of David. Lord, I come to worship you.
Dawid dwom. Ao Awurade, mema me kra so kyerɛ wo;
2 I trust in you, my God. Don't let me be humiliated, and don't let my enemies triumph over me.
wo so, Ao me Onyankopɔn, na mede me ho to. Mma mʼanim ngu ase na mma mʼatamfoɔ nso nni me so nkonim.
3 No one who trusts in you will be humiliated, but humiliation comes to those who are deliberately dishonest.
Wɔn a wɔde wɔn ho to wo so no mu biara ani renwu da, mmom, wɔn a wɔyɛ kɔntɔnkye no anim bɛgu ase.
4 Show me your ways, Lord; teach me to follow your paths.
Kyerɛ me wʼakwan, Ao Awurade, na me nhunu wʼatempɔn.
5 Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation. All day long I put my trust in you.
Fa wo nokorɛ no so kyerɛkyerɛ me, ɛfiri sɛ woyɛ Onyankopɔn, me Gyefoɔ, na mʼani da wo so daa nyinaa.
6 Remember, Lord, your compassion and trustworthy love—they are eternal!
Kae, Ao Awurade, wo mmɔborɔhunu ne wo dɔ kɛseɛ a ɛwɔ hɔ firi tete no.
7 Please don't remember the sins of my youth when I rebelled against you. Instead, remember me according to your trustworthy love, remember me because of your goodness, Lord.
Nkae me mmabunu berɛ mu bɔne ne mʼatuateɛ akwan; kae me sɛdeɛ wʼadɔeɛ teɛ, Ao Awurade, ɛfiri sɛ wo yɛ.
8 The Lord is good and he is right; that is why he shows the way to those who are lost.
Awurade yɛ, na ɔtene; enti ɔkyerɛkyerɛ nnebɔneyɛfoɔ nʼakwan.
9 He leads those who are humble in doing what's right, teaching them his way.
Ɔde ahobrɛasefoɔ fa ɛkwan pa so na ɔkyerɛ wɔn nʼapɛdeɛ.
10 The Lord's paths are those of trustworthy love and truth for those who keep his agreement and do as he says.
Awurade akwan nyinaa yɛ ɔdɔ ne nokorɛdie ma wɔn a wɔdi nʼapam mu ahyɛdeɛ soɔ.
11 Lord, because of your nature, forgive my many sins.
Ao Awurade, me bɔne so deɛ, nanso wo din enti, fa kyɛ me.
12 Who are those who respect the Lord? He will show them the path to choose.
Enti hwan ne onipa a ɔsuro Awurade? Ɔbɛkyerɛ no kwan a wabɔ ama no.
13 They will continue to be prosperous, and their descendants will inherit the land.
Ɔbɛdi yie wɔ ne nkwa nna mu, na nʼasefoɔ afa asase no sɛ wɔn agyapadeɛ.
14 The Lord is friends with those who respect him, explaining to them his agreement.
Awurade da nʼatirimsɛm adi kyerɛ wɔn a wɔsuro no; na ɔma wɔhunu nʼapam.
15 I always look to the Lord, for he rescues me when I'm trapped.
Mʼani da Awurade so daa, ɛfiri sɛ ɔno nko ara na ɔbɛyi me nan afiri afidie mu.
16 Watch over me and be good to me, because I am all alone and suffering.
Dane wʼani hwɛ me, na dom me, ɛfiri sɛ meyɛ ankonam na meyɛ mmɔbɔ.
17 My problems get bigger and bigger. Please save me from all I'm going through.
Mʼakoma mu dadwene adɔɔso; yi me dadwene firi me so.
18 See all my troubles and trials. Please forgive my sins.
Hwɛ me haw ne mʼahohiahia na yi me bɔne nyinaa firi me so.
19 Look at how many enemies I have, and how they really hate me!
Hwɛ sɛdeɛ mʼatamfoɔ adɔɔso ne ɔtan kɛseɛ a wɔde tan me!
20 Please look after me and save me! Don't let me be humiliated, for you are the one who protects me.
Bɔ me nkwa ho ban na gye me. Mma mʼanim ngu ase, ɛfiri sɛ me dwanekɔbea ne wo.
21 May integrity and honesty defend me because I place my confidence in you.
Ma tenenee ne nokorɛ mmɔ me ho ban, ɛfiri sɛ mʼani da wo so.
22 God, please deliver the people of Israel from all their troubles!
