Psalms 25
1 A psalm of David. Lord, I come to worship you.
தாவீதின் சங்கீதம். யெகோவாவே, உம்மிடத்தில் என் ஆத்துமாவை உயர்த்துகிறேன்.
2 I trust in you, my God. Don't let me be humiliated, and don't let my enemies triumph over me.
என் இறைவனே, உம்மில் நான் நம்பிக்கை வைக்கிறேன்; என்னை வெட்கப்பட விடாதேயும்; என் பகைவர் என்மேல் வெற்றிகொள்ள விடாதேயும்.
3 No one who trusts in you will be humiliated, but humiliation comes to those who are deliberately dishonest.
உம்மில் எதிர்பார்ப்பாய் இருப்பவர்கள் யாரும், ஒருபோதும் வெட்கப்படமாட்டார்கள்; ஆனால் காரணமின்றி துரோகம் செய்பவர்கள் வெட்கமடைவார்கள்.
4 Show me your ways, Lord; teach me to follow your paths.
யெகோவாவே, உமது வழிகளை எனக்குக் காண்பியும்; உமது பாதைகளை எனக்குப் போதியும்.
5 Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation. All day long I put my trust in you.
உமது சத்தியத்தில் என்னை நடத்தி எனக்குப் போதியும். நீரே என் இரட்சகராகிய இறைவன், நாள்முழுதும் நான் உம்மையே எதிர்பார்க்கிறேன்.
6 Remember, Lord, your compassion and trustworthy love—they are eternal!
யெகோவாவே, உமது பெரிதான இரக்கத்தையும் அன்பையும் நினைவில்கொள்ளும், ஏனெனில் அவை பூர்வகாலமுதல் இருக்கிறதே.
7 Please don't remember the sins of my youth when I rebelled against you. Instead, remember me according to your trustworthy love, remember me because of your goodness, Lord.
என் வாலிப காலத்தின் பாவங்களையும் என் மீறுதல்களையும் நினைக்கவேண்டாம்; உமது உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பின்படி என்னை நினைத்துக்கொள்ளும், யெகோவாவே, நீர் நல்லவர்.
8 The Lord is good and he is right; that is why he shows the way to those who are lost.
யெகோவா நல்லவரும் நேர்மையானவருமாய் இருக்கிறார்; ஆகையால் பாவிகளுக்குத் தமது வழிகளை அறிவுறுத்துகிறார்.
9 He leads those who are humble in doing what's right, teaching them his way.
அவர் தாழ்மையுள்ளோரை நியாயத்தில் வழிநடத்துகிறார், தமது வழியை அவர்களுக்குப் போதிக்கிறார்.
10 The Lord's paths are those of trustworthy love and truth for those who keep his agreement and do as he says.
யெகோவாவினுடைய உடன்படிக்கையின் கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களுக்கு அவருடைய பாதைகளெல்லாம் உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பும் நம்பகமுமானவைகள்.
11 Lord, because of your nature, forgive my many sins.
யெகோவாவே, எனது அநியாயம் பெரிதாயிருப்பினும், உமது பெயரின் நிமித்தம் அதை மன்னியும்.
12 Who are those who respect the Lord? He will show them the path to choose.
யெகோவாவுக்குப் பயந்து நடக்கிற மனிதர் யார்? அவர்கள் தெரிந்துகொள்ள வேண்டிய வழியை யெகோவா அவர்களுக்கு அறிவுறுத்துவார்.
13 They will continue to be prosperous, and their descendants will inherit the land.
அவர்கள் தமது வாழ்நாளெல்லாம் நன்மையைப் பெறுவார்கள், அவர்களுடைய சந்ததி பூமியை தமக்கு சொந்தமாக்கிக்கொள்வார்கள்.
14 The Lord is friends with those who respect him, explaining to them his agreement.
யெகோவாவின் இரகசியம் அவருக்குப் பயந்து நடக்கிறவர்களுக்குரியது; அவர் தமது உடன்படிக்கையையும் அவர்களுக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்துகிறார்.
15 I always look to the Lord, for he rescues me when I'm trapped.
என் கண்கள் எப்பொழுதும் யெகோவாவையே நோக்கியிருக்கின்றன; ஏனென்றால் என் கால்களை அவரே கண்ணியிலிருந்து விடுவிப்பார்.
16 Watch over me and be good to me, because I am all alone and suffering.
யெகோவாவே, என் பக்கமாய்த் திரும்பி, எனக்குக் கிருபையாயிரும்; நான் தனிமையிலும் துன்பத்திலும் இருக்கிறேன்.
17 My problems get bigger and bigger. Please save me from all I'm going through.
என் இருதயத்தின் துயரத்திலிருந்து நீங்கலாக்கும்; என் நெருக்கத்திலிருந்து என்னை விடுவியும்.
18 See all my troubles and trials. Please forgive my sins.
என் துன்பத்தையும் என் துயரத்தையும் பார்த்து, என் பாவங்களையெல்லாம் மன்னித்தருளும்.
19 Look at how many enemies I have, and how they really hate me!
என் பகைவர்கள் எப்படி பெருகியிருக்கிறார்கள் என்று பாரும்; அவர்கள் எவ்வளவு கொடூரமாக என்னை வெறுக்கிறார்கள்.
20 Please look after me and save me! Don't let me be humiliated, for you are the one who protects me.
என் உயிரைப் பாதுகாத்து, என்னைத் தப்புவியும்; உம்மிடத்தில் தஞ்சமடைந்திருக்கும் என்னை வெட்கப்பட விடாதேயும்.
21 May integrity and honesty defend me because I place my confidence in you.
உத்தமமும் நேர்மையும் என்னைப் பாதுகாக்கட்டும்; ஏனெனில் என் எதிர்பார்ப்பு உம்மிலே இருக்கிறது.
22 God, please deliver the people of Israel from all their troubles!
இறைவனே, இஸ்ரயேலை அவர்களுடைய துன்பங்கள் எல்லாவற்றிலுமிருந்து மீட்டுக்கொள்ளும்.
