Psalms 25
1 A psalm of David. Lord, I come to worship you.
David ƒe ha. O! Yehowa, wòe mekɔ nye luʋɔ ɖe dzi na.
2 I trust in you, my God. Don't let me be humiliated, and don't let my enemies triumph over me.
O! Nye Mawu, ŋuwòe meɖo dzi ɖo. Mègana ŋu nakpem, alo nàɖe mɔ nye futɔwo naɖu dzinye o.
3 No one who trusts in you will be humiliated, but humiliation comes to those who are deliberately dishonest.
Ame si tsɔ eƒe mɔkpɔkpɔ da ɖe dziwò la, ŋu makpee akpɔ gbeɖe o; gake ŋu akpe ame siwo nye vivimenuwɔlawo.
4 Show me your ways, Lord; teach me to follow your paths.
O! Yehowa, fia wò mɔwo kple wò toƒewom,
5 Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation. All day long I put my trust in you.
kplɔm le wò nyateƒe la me, eye nàfia num, elabena wòe nye nye Mawu kple nye Ɖela, eye nye mɔkpɔkpɔ le mewò ŋkeke blibo la katã.
6 Remember, Lord, your compassion and trustworthy love—they are eternal!
O! Yehowa, ɖo ŋku wò lɔlɔ̃ kple wò nublanuikpɔkpɔ sɔgbɔ la dzi, elabena woli tso blema ke.
7 Please don't remember the sins of my youth when I rebelled against you. Instead, remember me according to your trustworthy love, remember me because of your goodness, Lord.
O! Yehowa, mègaɖo ŋku nye ɖekakpuimenu vɔ̃wo kple nye aglãdzemɔwo dzi o; ke boŋ ɖo ŋku dzinye le wò lɔlɔ̃ la ta, elabena nyuiwɔwɔ le mewò.
8 The Lord is good and he is right; that is why he shows the way to those who are lost.
Yehowa nyo, eye wòwɔa nu dzɔdzɔe, eya ta efiaa eƒe mɔ nu vɔ̃ wɔlawo.
9 He leads those who are humble in doing what's right, teaching them his way.
Ekplɔa ɖokuibɔbɔlawo to nu dzɔdzɔe wɔwɔ me, eye wòfiaa eƒe mɔ wo.
10 The Lord's paths are those of trustworthy love and truth for those who keep his agreement and do as he says.
Yehowa ƒe mɔwo katã nye lɔlɔ̃ kple nuteƒewɔwɔ na ame siwo léa eƒe nubablamenyawo ɖe asi.
11 Lord, because of your nature, forgive my many sins.
O! Yehowa, togbɔ be nye dzidada sɔ gbɔ ale gbegbe hã la, tsɔ wo kem le wò ŋkɔ la ta.
12 Who are those who respect the Lord? He will show them the path to choose.
Ekema ame kawoe nye ŋutsu ma siwo vɔ̃a Yehowa? Afia nu wo le mɔ si woato la dzi.
13 They will continue to be prosperous, and their descendants will inherit the land.
Woakpɔ dzidzedze le woƒe agbemeŋkekewo me, eye woƒe dzidzimeviwo anyi anyigba la ƒe dome.
14 The Lord is friends with those who respect him, explaining to them his agreement.
Yehowa gblɔa nya ɣaɣlawo na ame siwo vɔ̃nɛ, eye wòɖea eƒe nubabla fiaa wo.
15 I always look to the Lord, for he rescues me when I'm trapped.
Nye ŋkuwo le Yehowa ŋu ɖaa, elabena eya koe aɖe nye afɔ le mɔ me.
16 Watch over me and be good to me, because I am all alone and suffering.
Trɔ ɖe ŋunye ne nàve nunye, elabena metsi akogo, eye hiã tum.
17 My problems get bigger and bigger. Please save me from all I'm going through.
Nye dzi ƒe nuxaxawo do gã ɖe edzi, na vovom tso nye vevesesewo me.
18 See all my troubles and trials. Please forgive my sins.
Nye kɔ nàkpɔ nye nuxaxa kple nye vevesese ɖa, eye nàɖe nye nu vɔ̃wo katã ɖa.
19 Look at how many enemies I have, and how they really hate me!
Kpɔ ale si nye futɔwo dzi ɖe edzii ɖa, eye nàkpɔ ale si wolé fum ɖikaɖikae ɖa!
20 Please look after me and save me! Don't let me be humiliated, for you are the one who protects me.
Kpɔ nye agbe ta, eye nàɖem; megana ŋu nakpem o, elabena mewòe mebe ɖo.
21 May integrity and honesty defend me because I place my confidence in you.
Nuteƒewɔwɔ kple dzɔdzɔenyenye nedzɔ ŋunye, elabena nye mɔkpɔkpɔ le mewò.
22 God, please deliver the people of Israel from all their troubles!
O! Mawu, ɖe Israel tso woƒe xaxawo katã me.
