Psalms 23

1 A psalm of David. Since the Lord is my shepherd, I have everything I need.

യഹോവ എന്റെ ഇടയനാകുന്നു; എനിക്കു മുട്ടുണ്ടാകയില്ല.

2 He gives me rest in green fields. He leads me towards quietly flowing streams.

പച്ചയായ പുല്പുറങ്ങളിൽ അവൻ എന്നെ കിടത്തുന്നു; സ്വസ്ഥതയുള്ള വെള്ളത്തിന്നരികത്തേക്കു എന്നെ നടത്തുന്നു.

3 He revives me. He guides me along the right paths because that's the kind of person he is.

എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ അവൻ തണുപ്പിക്കുന്നു; തിരുനാമംനിമിത്തം എന്നെ നീതിപാതകളിൽ നടത്തുന്നു.

4 Even when I walk through the valley dark as death, I'm not afraid of any evil, because you are right there with me; your rod and your staff protect me.

കൂരിരുൾതാഴ്വരയിൽ കൂടിനടന്നാലും ഞാൻ ഒരു അനൎത്ഥവും ഭയപ്പെടുകയില്ല; നീ എന്നോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ; നിന്റെ വടിയും കോലും എന്നെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

5 You prepare a banquet for me before my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with olive oil. My cup is so full it overflows!

എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ കാൺകെ നീ എനിക്കു വിരുന്നൊരുക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ തലയെ എണ്ണകൊണ്ടു അഭിഷേകംചെയ്യുന്നു; എന്റെ പാനപാത്രവും നിറഞ്ഞു കവിയുന്നു.

6 I'm absolutely certain that your goodness and trustworthy love will be with me all through my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.

നന്മയും കരുണയും എന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലമൊക്കെയും എന്നെ പിന്തുടരും; ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ ദീൎഘകാലം വസിക്കും.
