Psalms 147
1 Praise the Lord, for it's good to sing praises to our God! Praise is wonderful and beautiful!
௧யெகோவாவை துதியுங்கள்; நம்முடைய தேவனைப் புகழ்ந்து பாடுகிறது நல்லது, துதித்தலே இன்பமும் ஏற்றதுமாக இருக்கிறது.
2 The Lord is rebuilding Jerusalem, gathering together the people of Israel who have been scattered.
௨யெகோவா எருசலேமைக் கட்டுகிறார்; துரத்தப்பட்ட இஸ்ரவேலர்களைக் கூட்டிச் சேர்க்கிறார்.
3 He heals the broken-hearted, and bandages the wounded.
௩இருதயம் நொறுங்குண்டவர்களைக் குணமாக்குகிறார், அவர்களுடைய காயங்களைக் கட்டுகிறார்.
4 He knows how many stars he made, and commands all of them by name.
௪அவர் நட்சத்திரங்களின் தொகையை எண்ணி, அவைகளுக்கெல்லாம் பெயரிட்டு அழைக்கிறார்.
5 Our Lord is great! His power is immense! There's no limit to what he understands!
௫நம்முடைய ஆண்டவர் பெரியவரும் மகா பெலமுள்ளவருமாக இருக்கிறார்; அவருடைய அறிவு அளவில்லாதது.
6 The Lord helps those who are bowed down to get up; but he grinds the wicked into the ground.
௬யெகோவா சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்களை உயர்த்துகிறார்; துன்மார்க்கர்களைத் தரைவரை தாழ்த்துகிறார்.
7 Sing thanks to the Lord! Sing praises to our God with a harp!
௭யெகோவாவை துதியுடன் பாடிக்கொண்டாடுங்கள்; நம்முடைய தேவனைச் சுரமண்டலத்தால் புகழ்ந்து பாடுங்கள்.
8 He covers the sky with clouds to bring rain to the earth, and makes the grass grow on the hills.
௮அவர் வானத்தை மேகங்களால் மூடி, பூமிக்கு மழையை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தி, மலைகளில் புல்லை முளைக்கச்செய்கிறார்.
9 He gives food to the animals, and to the baby ravens when they call.
௯அவர் மிருகங்களுக்கும் கூப்பிடுகிற காக்கைக் குஞ்சுகளுக்கும் ஆகாரங்கொடுக்கிறார்.
10 The Lord doesn't appreciate the strength of war-horses or value human power.
௧0அவர் குதிரையின் பலத்தில் விருப்பமாக இருக்கமாட்டார்; வீரனுடைய கால்களில் பிரியப்படமாட்டார்.
11 What the Lord values are those who follow him, those who put their confidence in his trustworthy love.
௧௧தமக்குப் பயந்து, தமது கிருபைக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்கள்மேல் யெகோவா பிரியமாக இருக்கிறார்.
12 Jerusalem, praise the Lord! Zion, praise your God!
௧௨எருசலேமே, யெகோவாவுக்கு நன்றி சொல்; சீயோனே, உன்னுடைய தேவனைத் துதி.
13 He makes the bars on your city gates strong, and blesses your children around you.
௧௩அவர் உன்னுடைய வாசல்களின் தாழ்ப்பாள்களைப் பலப்படுத்தி, உன்னிடத்திலுள்ள உன்னுடைய பிள்ளைகளை ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறார்.
14 He keeps the borders of your land safe from attack; he provides you with plenty of the finest wheat.
௧௪அவர் உன்னுடைய எல்லைகளைச் சமாதானமுள்ளவைகளாக மாற்றி, செழிப்பான கோதுமையினால் உன்னைத் திருப்தியாக்குகிறார்.
15 He sends his commands around the world—they're quickly implemented.
௧௫அவர் தமது வார்த்தையைப் பூமியிலே அனுப்புகிறார்; அவருடைய சொல் மகா விரைவாக செல்லுகிறது.
16 He sends snow as white as wool, and scatters frost like ashes.
௧௬பஞ்சைப்போல் உறைந்த மழையைத் தருகிறார்; சாம்பலைப்போல உறைந்த பனியைத் தூவுகிறார்.
17 He throws hail like stones. Who can stand the cold he sends?
௧௭அவர் தமது கல்மழையைத் துணிக்கைகளாக அனுப்புகிறார்; அவருடைய குளிருக்கு முன்பாக நிற்பவன் யார்?
18 Then he sends out his command and it melts; he blows on it and the water flows.
௧௮அவர் தமது வார்த்தையை அனுப்பி, அவைகளை உருகச்செய்கிறார்; தமது காற்றை வீசும்படி செய்ய, தண்ணீர்கள் ஓடும்.
19 He proclaims his word to Jacob; his rules and laws to Israel.
௧௯யாக்கோபுக்குத் தம்முடைய வசனங்களையும், இஸ்ரவேலுக்குத் தமது பிரமாணங்களையும் தமது நியாயங்களையும் அறிவிக்கிறார்.
20 He has not done this for any other nation—they don't know his laws. Praise the Lord!
