< Psalms 147 >
1 Praise the Lord, for it's good to sing praises to our God! Praise is wonderful and beautiful!
Mikafu Yehowa. Aleke mehenyoe be woadzi kafukafuha na míaƒe Mawu la o! Aleke wòhevivina, eye wòdze be woakafui!
2 The Lord is rebuilding Jerusalem, gathering together the people of Israel who have been scattered.
Yehowa gbugbɔ tso Yerusalem du la, eye wòkplɔ Israel ƒe aboyomewo gbɔe.
3 He heals the broken-hearted, and bandages the wounded.
Eda gbe le ame siwo ƒe dzi gbã la ŋu, eye wòbla woƒe abiwo na wo.
4 He knows how many stars he made, and commands all of them by name.
Eyae ɖo xexlẽme na ɣletiviwo, eye wòyɔa ɖe sia ɖe ƒe ŋkɔ.
5 Our Lord is great! His power is immense! There's no limit to what he understands!
Gãe nye míaƒe Aƒetɔ la, eye eƒe ŋusẽ tri akɔ ŋutɔ, seɖoƒe meli na eƒe gɔmesese o.
6 The Lord helps those who are bowed down to get up; but he grinds the wicked into the ground.
Yehowa kpɔa ame siwo bɔbɔa wo ɖokui la dzi, ke etsɔ ame vɔ̃ɖi ya xlã ɖe anyigba.
7 Sing thanks to the Lord! Sing praises to our God with a harp!
Midzi ha na Yehowa kple akpedada, eye miƒo ha na míaƒe Mawu la kple kasaŋku.
8 He covers the sky with clouds to bring rain to the earth, and makes the grass grow on the hills.
Etsɔa lilikpo xea yamee, eye wònana tsi dzana ɖe anyigba la dzi hewɔnɛ be gbe miena ɖe togbɛwo dzi.
9 He gives food to the animals, and to the baby ravens when they call.
Enaa nuɖuɖu nyiwo kple akpaviã siwo le xɔxlɔ̃m nɛ.
10 The Lord doesn't appreciate the strength of war-horses or value human power.
Eƒe dzidzɔ mele sɔ ƒe ŋusẽ me loo, alo amegbetɔ ƒe afɔ me o;
11 What the Lord values are those who follow him, those who put their confidence in his trustworthy love.
ke boŋ Yehowa ƒe dzidzɔkpɔkpɔ le ame siwo vɔ̃nɛ la me, ame siwo tsɔa woƒe mɔkpɔkpɔ dana ɖe eƒe lɔlɔ̃ si meʋãna o la dzi.
12 Jerusalem, praise the Lord! Zion, praise your God!
O! Yerusalem, do Yehowa ɖe dzi, O! Zion, kafu wò Mawu la,
13 He makes the bars on your city gates strong, and blesses your children around you.
elabena eyae glã wò agbowo ƒe gametiwo, eye wòyra ame siwo le mewò.
14 He keeps the borders of your land safe from attack; he provides you with plenty of the finest wheat.
Ena ŋutifafa le wò liƒowo dzi, eye wòtsɔ mɔlu nyuitɔ ɖi ƒo na wòe.
15 He sends his commands around the world—they're quickly implemented.
Eɖo eƒe sedede ɖe anyigba la dzi, eye eƒe nya kaka kple du ɖo teƒewo.
16 He sends snow as white as wool, and scatters frost like ashes.
Ekaka tsikpe abe ɖetifu ene, eye wòkaka afu abe dzofi ene.
17 He throws hail like stones. Who can stand the cold he sends?
Eɖo kpetsi ɖe anyigba abe kpekui ene. Ame ka ate ŋu anɔ te ɖe wò ya fafɛ la nu?
18 Then he sends out his command and it melts; he blows on it and the water flows.
Edɔ eƒe nya ɖa, eye wòlolo wo. Ede ŋusẽ eƒe yawo me, eye tsiwo de asi sisi me.
19 He proclaims his word to Jacob; his rules and laws to Israel.
Eɖe eƒe nya fia Yakob eye wòɖe eƒe sewo kple sededewo fia Israel.
20 He has not done this for any other nation—they don't know his laws. Praise the Lord!
Mewɔ esia na dukɔ bubu aɖeke o, eye womenya eƒe sewo o. Mikafu Yehowa.
