Psalms 145
1 A psalm of David. A song of praise. I will glorify you, my God and King! I will praise who you are forever and ever!
Ayɛyie dwom. Dawid deɛ. Mɛma wo so, me Onyankopɔn, me Ɔhene; mɛkamfo wo din daa daa.
2 I will praise you every day; I will praise your character forever and ever!
Ɛda biara, mɛkamfo wo; na mama wo din so daa daa.
3 The Lord is great and deserves much praise! His greatness cannot be measured!
Awurade so, na ɔsɛ nkamfo kɛseɛ; obiara rentumi nsusu ne kɛseyɛ.
4 Let every generation tell the next all that you do, sharing the stories of your amazing miracles!
Awoɔ ntoatoasoɔ baako bɛkamfo wo nnwuma akyerɛ ɔfoforɔ; wɔbɛka wo nnwuma akɛseɛ ho asɛm.
5 They will speak of your majesty, your glorious splendor, and I will meditate on the wonderful things you have done.
Wɔbɛka wʼanimuonyam ne wo tumi a ɛhran no ho asɛm, na mɛdwene wʼanwanwadwuma ho.
6 They will speak of the power of your awesome actions, and I will say how wonderful you are.
Wɔbɛka wo nnwuma a ɛyɛ hu no mu tumi ho asɛm; na mapae mu aka wo nneyɛɛ akɛseɛ no akyerɛ.
7 They will explain to everyone how famous you are for your tremendous goodness, and joyfully celebrate how you always do what is right.
Wɔbɛhyɛ wo papayɛ mmorosoɔ no ho fa, na wɔde anigyeɛ ato wo tenenee ho dwom.
8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, not easily angered, and full of trustworthy love.
Awurade yɛ ɔdomfoɔ ne mmɔborɔhunufoɔ; ne bo kyɛre fu na nʼadɔeɛ dɔɔso.
9 The Lord is good to everyone, and he shows mercy to all his created beings.
Awurade yɛ ma obiara; na ɔwɔ ahummɔborɔ ma nʼabɔdeɛ nyinaa.
10 All the created beings will thank you, Lord, and all who faithfully follow you will praise you.
Ao Awurade, wʼabɔdeɛ nyinaa bɛkamfo wo; na wʼahotefoɔ bɛma wo so.
11 They will praise the glory of your kingdom, and talk about your power.
Wɔbɛka wʼahennie no animuonyam ho asɛm na wɔaka wo mmaninyɛ ho asɛm,
12 They will explain to people your wonderful miracles, and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.
sɛ ɛbɛyɛ a nnipa bɛhunu wo nnwuma akɛseɛ ne wʼahennie animuonyam a ɛhran no.
13 Your kingdom never ends, and your rule continues for all generations. What the Lord promises can always be trusted; he is merciful in all he does.
Wʼahennie yɛ daa ahennie, na wo tumidie wɔ hɔ ma awoɔ ntoantoasoɔ nyinaa. Awurade di ne bɔhyɛ nyinaa so, na ɔwɔ ɔdɔ ma biribiara a wayɛ.
14 The Lord helps up all those who fall down; he lifts up all those who are bowed down.
Awurade wowa wɔn a wɔhwe ase na ɔpagya wɔn a wɔn nnesoa ama wɔakom.
15 All eyes are on you, waiting in hope, and you give food at just the right time.
Ani nyinaa hwɛ wo ɛkwan, na woma wɔn wɔn aduane wɔ ne berɛ mu.
16 You give generously and satisfy the needs of every living thing.
Wobue wo nsam na woma biribiara a ɛwɔ nkwa no nʼapɛdeɛ.
17 The Lord does right in everything—his actions are always trustworthy.
Awurade tene wɔ nʼakwan nyinaa mu; na ɔyɛ adɔeɛ ma deɛ wayɛ nyinaa.
18 The Lord is close to all who ask for his help, to all who ask in sincerity.
Awurade bɛn wɔn a wɔfrɛ no nyinaa, wɔn a wɔfrɛ no nokorɛ mu nyinaa.
19 He satisfies the needs of those who follow him. He hears their cries for help and he saves them.
Ɔyɛ wɔn a wɔsuro no no apɛdeɛ ma wɔn; ɔtie wɔn sufrɛ na ɔgye wɔn.
20 The Lord takes care of all those who love him, but he will destroy all those who are wicked.
Awurade hwɛ wɔn a wɔdɔ no nyinaa so, nanso amumuyɛfoɔ deɛ, ɔbɛsɛe wɔn nyinaa.
21 I will speak in praise of the Lord, and may everyone honor his holy character, forever and ever.
