< Psalms 132 >
1 A song for pilgrims going up to Jerusalem. Lord, remember David, and all that he went through.
Hodočasnička pjesma.
2 He made a promise to the Lord, a vow to the Mighty One of Jacob:
Spomeni se, o Jahve, Davida i sve revnosti njegove: kako se Jahvi zakleo, zavjetovao Snazi Jakovljevoj:
3 “I will not go home, I will not go to bed,
“Neću ući u šator doma svog nit' uzaći na ležaj svoje postelje,
4 I will not go to sleep, I will not take a nap,
neću pustit' snu na oči nit' počinka dati vjeđama,
5 until I find a place where the Lord can live, a home for the Mighty One of Jacob.”
dok Jahvi mjesto ne nađem, boravište Snazi Jakovljevoj.”
6 In Ephrathah we received information about the Ark of Agreement, and we found it in fields near Jaar.
Eto, čusmo za nj u Efrati, nađosmo ga u Poljima jaarskim.
7 Let's go to the place where the Lord lives and bow down at his feet in worship.
Uđimo u stan njegov, pred noge mu padnimo!
8 Come, Lord, and enter your home, together with your Ark of your power.
“Ustani, o Jahve, pođi k svom počivalištu, ti i Kovčeg sile tvoje!
9 May your priests wear goodness like clothing; may your faithful people shout for joy.
Svećenici tvoji nek' se obuku u pravednost, pobožnici tvoji nek' radosno kliču!
10 For the sake of your servant David, don't reject the king you have chosen.
Poradi Davida, sluge svojega, ne odvrati lica od svog pomazanika!”
11 The Lord made a solemn promise to David, one he will never cancel—“I will put one of your descendants on your throne.
Jahve se zakle Davidu zakletvom tvrdom od koje neće odustati: “Potomka tvoje utrobe posadit ću na prijestolje tvoje.
12 If your sons keep to my agreement and my laws that I will teach them, then their sons will always occupy your throne.”
Budu li ti sinovi Savez moj čuvali i naredbe kojima ih učim, i sinovi će njini dovijeka sjedit' na tvom prijestolju.”
13 For the Lord has chosen Zion, wanting to make his home there, saying:
Jer Jahve odabra Sion, njega zaželje sebi za sjedište.
14 “This will always be my home; this is where I want to live.
“Ovo mi je počivalište vječno, boravit ću ovdje jer tako poželjeh.
15 I will provide the people of the city with all they need; I will feed the poor.
Žitak ću njegov blagosloviti, siromahe nahraniti kruhom.
16 I will clothe its priests with salvation; and its faithful people will shout for joy.
Svećenike njegove u spas ću odjenuti, sveti će njegovi kliktati radosno.
17 I will make the line of David even more powerful. I have prepared a lamp for my chosen king.
Učinit ću da ondje za Davida rog izraste, pripravit ću svjetiljku za svog pomazanika.
18 I will humiliate his enemies, but the crown he wears will shine brightly.”
U sram ću mu obući dušmane, a na njemu će blistat' vijenac moj.”
