< Psalms 131 >
1 A song for pilgrims going up to Jerusalem. A psalm of David. Lord, I'm not proud or arrogant. I don't worry about things that are beyond me, matters that are far beyond my experience.
David kah Tangtlaeng Laa BOEIPA aw ka lungbuei sang pawt tih ka mik khaw a pomsang moenih. Te dongah kamah lakah aka tanglue rhoek neh a rhaisang taengah khaw ka pongpa pawh.
2 On the contrary, I have chosen to be calm and quiet, like a weaned child with its mother. I am like a weaned child with its mother.
Tedae ka hinglu khaw hal tih ka kuemsuem coeng. A manu taengkah suk aka toeng bangla ka khuikah ka hinglu khaw a toeng coeng.
3 Israel, hope in the Lord, now and forever!
Aw Israel, tahae lamkah kumhal duela BOEIPA te ngaiuep lah.
