< Psalms 130 >

1 A song for pilgrims going up to Jerusalem. Lord, I cry out to you from the depths of my pain.
Yon chan pou monte vè tanp lan. Soti nan pwofondè abim nan, mwen te kriye a Ou menm, O SENYÈ.
2 Please listen to my cry, and pay attention to what I'm asking.
SENYÈ, koute vwa mwen! Kite zòrèy Ou rete atantif a vwa siplikasyon mwen yo.
3 Lord, if you kept a list of sins, who could escape being condemned?
Si Ou menm, SENYÈ, ta sonje inikite yo, O SENYÈ, se kilès ki ta kab kanpe?
4 But you are forgiving so that we might respect you.
Men avèk Ou menm, gen padon, pou moun ta gen reverans Ou.
5 I'm waiting for the Lord, longingly waiting, for I trust in his word.
Mwen tann SENYÈ a. Nanm mwen ap tann e nan pawòl Li, mwen mete espwa m.
6 I long for the Lord to come, more than watchmen longing for the dawn to come, more than watchmen longing for the dawn to come.
Nanm mwen ap tann SENYÈ a plis pase gadyen k ap tann maten rive a. Anverite, plis pase gadyen k ap tann maten rive a.
7 Israel, put your hope in the Lord, for the Lord loves us with a trustworthy love and his salvation knows no limits.
O Israël, mete espwa nan SENYÈ a. Paske kote SENYÈ a ye, gen mizerikòd. Avèk Li, gen redanmsyon an abondans.
8 He will save Israel from every sin.
Li va fè redanmsyon Israël de tout inikite Li yo.
