< Psalms 130 >
1 A song for pilgrims going up to Jerusalem. Lord, I cry out to you from the depths of my pain.
Sang til Festrejserne. Fra det dybe raaber jeg til dig, HERRE,
2 Please listen to my cry, and pay attention to what I'm asking.
o Herre, hør min Røst! Lad dine Ører lytte til min tryglende Røst!
3 Lord, if you kept a list of sins, who could escape being condemned?
Tog du Vare, HERRE, paa Misgerninger, Herre, hvo kunde da bestaa?
4 But you are forgiving so that we might respect you.
Men hos dig er der Syndsforladelse, at du maa frygtes.
5 I'm waiting for the Lord, longingly waiting, for I trust in his word.
Jeg haaber paa HERREN, min Sjæl haaber paa hans Ord,
6 I long for the Lord to come, more than watchmen longing for the dawn to come, more than watchmen longing for the dawn to come.
paa Herren bier min Sjæl mer end Vægter paa Morgen, Vægter paa Morgen.
7 Israel, put your hope in the Lord, for the Lord loves us with a trustworthy love and his salvation knows no limits.
Israel, bi paa HERREN! Thi hos HERREN er Miskundhed, hos ham er Forløsning i Overflod.
8 He will save Israel from every sin.
Og han vil forløse Israel fra alle dets Misgerninger.
