< Psalms 128 >

1 A song for pilgrims going up to Jerusalem. Happy are all those who worship the Lord, everyone who follows his ways!
Canticum graduum. Beati omnes, qui timent Dominum, qui ambulant in viis eius.
2 You will eat what your own hands have produced. You will be happy and do well.
Labores manuum tuarum quia manducabis: beatus es, et bene tibi erit.
3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine growing in your home. Your children will be like the shoots of an olive tree around your table.
Uxor tua sicut vitis abundans, in lateribus domus tuae. Filii tui sicut novellae olivarum, in circuitu mensae tuae.
4 This will certainly be the Lord's blessing on those who worship him.
Ecce sic benedicetur homo, qui timet Dominum.
5 May the Lord go on blessing you from Zion; may you see Jerusalem prosper all the days of your life.
Benedicat tibi Dominus ex Sion: et videas bona Ierusalem omnibus diebus vitae tuae.
6 May you see your children's children. May Israel be at peace!
Et videas filios filiorum tuorum, pacem super Israel.
