Psalms 122

1 A song for pilgrims going up to Jerusalem. A psalm of David. I was so happy when they said to me, “Let's go the house of the Lord.”

तिनीहरूले मलाई, “हामी परमप्रभुको मन्‍दिरमा जाऔं” भन्दा म खुसी हुन्थें ।

2 Now we're standing inside your gates, Jerusalem!

ए यरूशलेम, हाम्रा खुट्टाहरू तेरा ढोकाहरूभित्र खडा छन् ।

3 Jerusalem is built as a city where people can be together.

ए यरूशलेम, होसियार भएर योजना गरी बनाइएको सहर हो ।

4 All the tribes—the tribes of the Lord—go up there, following the command given to Israel to give thanks to the Lord.

कुलहरू, परमप्रभुका कुलहरू, इस्राएलको साक्षीको रूपमा परमप्रभुको नाउँमा धन्यवाद दिनलाई यरूशलेममा जान्छन् ।

5 This is where the thrones are placed, where judgment is given, the thrones of the house of David.

त्यहाँ न्यायका सिंहासनहरू, दाऊदको घरानाको सिंहासनहरू खडा गरिएका थिए ।

6 Pray that Jerusalem may be at peace. May everyone who loves Jerusalem be kept safe.

यरूशलेमको शन्तिको निम्ति प्रार्थना गर । “तँलाई प्रेम गर्नेहरूलाई शान्ति मिलोस् ।

7 May there be peace within your walls, and safety within your fortresses.

तेरो रक्षा गर्ने पर्खालहरूभित्र शान्ति रहोस् र तिनीहरूले तेरा किल्लाहरूभित्र शान्ति पाऊन् ।”

8 On behalf of my family and friends, I will now say, “May you be at peace.”

मेरा दाजुभाइ र मित्रहरूका खातिर, म भन्‍नेछु, “तँभित्र शान्ति होस् ।”

9 On behalf of the house of the Lord our God, I pray that everything goes well for you.

परमप्रभु हाम्रा परमेश्‍वरको मन्‍दिरको खातिर, म तेरो भलाइ खोज्‍नेछु ।
