< Psalms 121 >
1 A song for pilgrims going up to Jerusalem. I look to the hills—but is that where my help comes from?
Ko e Hiva ʻae ʻalu hake. Te u hanga hake hoku mata ki he ngaahi moʻunga, ʻaia ʻoku haʻu mei ai hoku tokoni.
2 My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
ʻOku haʻu hoku tokoni meia Sihova, ʻaia ne ne ngaohi ʻae langi mo māmani.
3 He will not let you fall; he who watches over you won't fall asleep.
ʻE ʻikai tuku ʻe ia ke hiki ho vaʻe: ko ia ʻoku ne tauhi koe ʻe ʻikai tulemohe ia.
4 In fact he who watches over you doesn't take naps or fall asleep.
Vakai, ko ia ʻoku ne tauhi ʻa ʻIsileli ʻe ʻikai te ne tulemohe pe mohe.
5 The Lord keeps watch over you; the Lord protects you; he stands right beside you.
Ko Sihova ko ho tauhi: ko Sihova ko ho fakamalu ia ʻi ho nima toʻomataʻu.
6 The sun won't hurt you during the day, nor the moon at night.
ʻE ʻikai taaʻi koe ʻe he laʻā ʻi he ʻaho, pe ʻe he māhina ʻi he pō.
7 The Lord will protect you from all kinds of evil; he will keep you safe and sound.
ʻE fakahaofi koe ʻe Sihova mei he kovi kotoa pē: te ne fakamoʻui ho laumālie.
8 The Lord will look after you when you leave, and when you return, now and forever.
ʻE tauhi ʻe Sihova hoʻo ʻalu kituʻa mo hoʻo liu mai mei he ʻaho ni, pea taʻengata.
