< Psalms 120 >

1 A song for pilgrims going up to Jerusalem. I called out to the Lord for help in all my troubles, and he answered me.
Nzembo ya mobembo tango bazalaki kokende na Tempelo ya Yawe. Kati na pasi na ngai, nabelelaki Yawe, mpe ayanolaki ngai.
2 Lord, please save me from liars and cheats!
Oh Yawe, kangola ngai wuta na maboko ya bakosi mpe wuta na lolemo ya lokuta!
3 What will the Lord do to you, you liars? How will he punish you?
Yo, lolemo ya lokuta, Yawe akopesa yo nini, akofuta yo nini?
4 With the sharp arrows of a warrior and burning coals made from a broom tree.
Akobeta yo na makonga ya elombe ya bitumba, oyo ezali ya songe, elongo na makala ya moto ya nzete ya nzube.
5 I'm sorry for myself, because I live as a foreigner in Meshech, or among the tent-dwellers of Kedar.
Mawa na ngai, mpo ete navandi lokola mopaya kati na Mesheki, kati na bandako ya kapo ya Kedari.
6 I have lived for far too long among people who hate peace.
Navandaki tango molayi kati na bato oyo balingaka kimia te.
7 I want peace, but when I talk of peace, they want war.
Ngai, nazali moto ya kimia; kasi soki kaka nameki koloba na tina na kimia, bango baponaka mbala moko bitumba.
