< Psalms 115 >

1 Not to us, Lord, not to us, but to you all glory should be given, because of your trustworthy love and faithfulness.
2 Why should the heathen nations ask, “Where is your God?”
Ko e hā ʻe pehē ai ʻe he hiteni, “Ko e fē honau ʻOtua?”
3 Our God is in heaven, and he does whatever he wants.
Ka ko hotau ʻOtua ʻoku ʻi he ngaahi langi: kuo ne fai ʻaia kuo ne finangalo ki ai.
4 Their idols are just things of silver and gold made by human hands.
Ko honau ngaahi tamapua ko e siliva mo e koula, ko e ngāue ʻae nima ʻoe tangata.
5 They have mouths, but can't speak. They have eyes, but can't see.
‌ʻOku ai honau ngutu, ka ʻoku ʻikai tenau lea: ʻoku nau maʻu ʻae mata, ka ʻoku ʻikai tenau mamata:
6 They have ears, but can't hear. They have noses, but can't smell.
‌ʻOku nau telinga, ka ʻoku ʻikai tenau ongoʻi: ʻoku ai honau ihu, ka ʻoku ʻikai tenau nanamu:
7 They have hands, but can't feel. They have feet, but can't walk. No sound comes from their throats.
‌ʻOku nau maʻu ʻae nima, ka ʻoku ʻikai tenau ala ki ha meʻa: ʻoku ai honau vaʻe, ka ʻoku ʻikai tenau ʻaʻeva: pea ʻoku ʻikai tenau lea ʻaki honau kia.
8 Those who make idols become just like them, and so does everyone who trusts in them.
Ko kinautolu ʻoku ngaohi ʻakinautolu ʻoku nau tatau mo kinautolu: pea ʻoku pehē pe ʻakinautolu kotoa pē ʻoku falala ki ai.
9 Israel, trust in the Lord! He is the one who helps you and protects you.
‌ʻE ʻIsileli, ke ke falala kia Sihova ko honau tokoni ia mo honau fakaū.
10 Descendants of Aaron, trust in the Lord! He is the one who helps you and protects you.
‌ʻE fale ʻo ʻElone, ke ke falala kia Sihova: ko honau tokoni ia mo honau fakaū.
11 Those who honor the Lord, trust in the Lord! He is the one who helps you and protects you.
‌ʻAkimoutolu ʻoku manavahē kia Sihova, mou falala kia Sihova: ko honau tokoni ia mo honau fakaū.
12 The Lord keeps us in mind and will be good to us. He will bless Israel, he will bless the descendants of Aaron.
Kuo manatuʻi ʻe Sihova ʻakitautolu: te ne tāpuaki ʻakitautolu; te ne tāpuaki ʻae fale ʻo ʻIsileli; te ne tāpuaki ʻae fale ʻo ʻElone.
13 The Lord will bless all those who worship him, whoever they are.
Te ne tāpuaki ʻakinautolu ʻoku nau manavahē kia Sihova, ʻae iiki mo e lalahi.
14 May the Lord be good to you, you and your children.
‌ʻE fakatokolahi ʻakimoutolu ʻe Sihova, pea te mou tupu pe, ʻakimoutolu mo hoʻomou fānau.
15 May you be blessed by the Lord who made heaven and earth.
‌ʻOku mou monūʻia ʻia Sihova, ʻaia naʻa ne ngaohi ʻae langi mo māmani.
16 The heavens belong to the Lord, but he has given the earth to humankind.
‌ʻOku ʻo Sihova ʻae langi, ʻio, ko e ngaahi langi: pea kuo ne foaki ʻa māmani ki he fānau ʻae tangata.
17 The dead do not praise the Lord, those who have gone down into the silence of the grave.
‌ʻOku ʻikai fakamālō kia Sihova ʻae mate, pe ha taha ʻoku ʻalu hifo ki he fakalongo pē.
18 But we the living will always praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!
Ka te tau fakafetaʻi kia Sihova mei he ʻaho ni ʻo taʻengata. Mou fakamālō kia Sihova.
