< Psalms 114 >

1 At the time of the exodus of Israel from Egypt, when the descendants of Jacob left that foreign country,
Sa’ad da Isra’ila ya fito daga Masar, gidan Yaƙub daga mutane masu baƙon harshe,
2 the land of Judah became the Lord's sanctuary, Israel his kingdom.
Yahuda ya zama wuri mai tsarki na Allah, Isra’ila mallakarsa.
3 The Red Sea saw them and ran away; the Jordan River retreated.
Teku ya kalla ya kuma gudu, Urdun ya juye da baya;
4 Mountains jumped in fright like rams, hills startled like lambs.
duwatsu suka yi tsalle kamar raguna, tuddai kamar tumaki.
5 Red Sea—why did you run away? Jordan River—why did you retreat?
Me ya sa, ya teku, kika gudu, Ya Urdun, ka juya baya,
6 Mountains—why did you jump in fright? Hills—why did you startle like lambs?
ku duwatsu, kuka yi tsalle kamar raguna, ku tuddai, kamar tumaki?
7 Earth, tremble in the presence of the Lord, tremble in the presence of the God of Jacob!
Ki yi rawar jiki, ya duniya, a gaban Ubangiji, a gaban Allah na Yaƙub,
8 He is the one who turned the rock into a pool of water; making water flow from the hard rock.
wanda ya juye dutse ya zama tafki, dutse mai ƙarfi zuwa maɓulɓulan ruwa.
