Psalms 111

1 Praise the Lord! I will thank the Lord with all my heart in the congregation of the faithful.

Hallelujah! Bekennen will ich Jehovah von ganzem Herzen im Kreise der Redlichen und in der Gemeinde.

2 All the wonderful things the Lord has done are studied by everyone who loves them.

Groß sind Jehovahs Taten, nachgesucht von allen, die Lust daran haben.

3 His majesty and honor are revealed by what he does; his goodness lasts forever.

Majestät und Ehre ist Sein Werk, und Seine Gerechtigkeit besteht immerfort.

4 He wants the wonderful things he has done to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and kind.

Er machte ein Andenken für Seine Wunder, gnädig und erbarmungsvoll ist Jehovah.

5 He feeds those who respect him; he always remembers the agreement he made.

Er gibt Speise denen, die Ihn fürchten, Er gedenkt Seines Bundes ewiglich.

6 He demonstrated to his people the powerful things he could do by giving them the lands of other nations.

Er sagt an Seinem Volke Seiner Werke Kraft, indem Er ihnen gab der Völkerschaften Erbe.

7 Everything he does can be depended on, and is right; all his commandments are trustworthy.

Die Werke Seiner Hände sind Wahrheit und Recht, wahrhaft sind alle Seine Verordnungen.

8 They remain rock-solid forever. He was true and right in saying what should be done.

Sie werden erhalten immerfort, in Ewigkeit; sie sind getan in Wahrheit und Redlichkeit.

9 He delivered his people. He commanded that his agreement would continue forever. How holy and awesome is his reputation!

Er sandte Seinem Volk Erlösung, Er gebot auf ewig Seinen Bund. Heilig und furchtbar ist Sein Name.

10 The beginning of wisdom is honoring the Lord. Those who follow what he says do well. He is to be praised forever!

Der Weisheit Anfang ist die Furcht Jehovahs, guten Verstand haben alle, so danach tun. Sein Lob besteht immerfort.
