< Psalms 110 >

1 A psalm of David. The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies a footstool for you.”
Dawid dwom. Awurade ka kyerɛɛ me Wura sɛ, “Tena me nifa so kɔsi sɛ mede wʼatamfoɔ bɛyɛ wo nan ntiasoɔ.”
2 The Lord will expand your royal power from Zion; you will rule over your enemies.
Awurade bɛtrɛ wʼahempoma denden mu afiri Sion; na wobɛdi ɔhene wɔ wʼatamfoɔ so.
3 Your people willingly follow you on the day when your power is revealed on the holy mountains, renewed in strength every morning like dew at dawn.
Wʼakodɔm bɛyi wɔn akoma mu ɛda a wobɛkɔ sa. Tumi kronkron bɛyɛ wʼaduradeɛ na wo mmabunu bɛba wo nkyɛn sɛdeɛ bosuo gugu anɔpahema.
4 The Lord has made a vow he will not break: “You are a priest forever, following the order of Melchizedek.”
Awurade aka ntam na ɔrensesa nʼadwene: “Woyɛ daapem ɔsɔfoɔ te sɛ Melkisedek sɛso.”
5 The Lord stands right beside you to support you; he will strike down kings in his anger.
Awurade wɔ wo nifa so; ɔbɛdwerɛ ahemfo wɔ nʼabufuhyeɛ da no.
6 He will execute judgment on the nations, filling their lands with corpses. He will strike down those who rule all over the earth.
Ɔbɛbu amanaman atɛn aboaboa afunu ano; na wadwerɛ sodifoɔ a wɔwɔ asase so nyinaa.
7 He will drink from streams beside the path. Therefore he will be victorious.
