< Psalms 106 >
1 Praise the Lord! Thank the Lord, for he is good! His trustworthy love lasts forever.
Luzitisa Yave, luvutudila Yave matondo bila widi wumboti, luzolo luandi lunzingila mu zithangu zioso.
2 Who can give an account of all the wonderful things the Lord has done? Who can give him all the praise he is due?
Nani wulenda yamikisa mavanga ma lulendo ma Yave? Voti samuna nzitusu andi woso e?
3 Happy are those who treat people fairly, who always do what is right.
Lusakumunu kuidi bobo basimbididi busonga; bobo beti vanga mambu ma lulama mu zithangu zioso.
4 Please remember me when you are generous to your people; think of me when you come to save.
Wuthebukila moyo, a Yave, mu thangu wumvangila batu baku mamboti wiza wutsadisa mu thangu wela kubavukisa,
5 Let me see your chosen people prosperous; let me be happy together with your nation; let me share in being proud of you with those who belong to you.
muingi ndibaka bu muena khini mu mamboti ma batu baku bobo wusobula; muingi ndibaka bukabudila khini ayi batu baku; ayi muingi ndifubakana va kimosi ayi kiuka kiaku mu kuvananga nzitusu.
6 We have sinned just like our forefathers. We have done wrong. We are guilty.
Tuvola masumu banga buvodila madise meto; beto tuvanga mambimbi ayi mavanga mambimbi.
7 They didn't pay attention to the wonderful things you did. They didn't keep in mind how much you loved them, but chose to rebel at the sea, the Red Sea.
Thangu madise meto baba ku Ezipite, basia ba ko kadi mayindu mu bikumu biaku; basia tebukila ko moyo woka ku mamboti maku vayi baba bankua matingu va ndambu mbu, va ndambu mbu wu mbuaki.
8 Even so he saved them because of the kind of person he is, and to show his power
Vayi wuba vukisa mu diambu di nkembo wu dizina diandi mu monisa lulendo luandi.
9 He gave his order to the Red Sea, and it dried up. He led his people across the seabed as if it were a desert.
Wutemina mbu wu mbuaki, buna wawu wuyuma; wuba diatisa mu dibulu dinneni banga mu dikanga.
10 He rescued them from those who hated them; he saved them from their enemies' power.
Wuba vukisa mu koko ku mutu wowo wu balenda; wuba kula mu koko ku bambeni.
11 The water drowned their enemies—none of them survived,
Minlangu midiamisa bambeni ziawu; kadi wumosi kasia siala wumoyo ko.
12 Then his people trusted in what he promised, and sang his praises.
Buna bawilukila zitsila ziandi ayi bayimbila minzitusu miandi.
13 But they quickly forgot what he had done for them, and they didn't listen to his advice.
Vayi mu nsualu bavika zimbakana momo kavanga, ayi basia tadidila zindongi ziandi ko.
14 They were filled with desperate cravings in the wilderness; they provoked God in the desert.
Mu dikanga, bakiyekula mu zinzinunu ziawu; va buangu kikambulu batu, batota Nzambi.
15 He gave them what they wanted, but sent them a plague as well.
Buna wuba vana biobi balomba; ayi wubafidisila ziphasi.
16 In the camp the people became jealous of Moses, and of Aaron, the Lord's holy priest.
Bavangila Moyize kiphala ayi Aloni ku ka, mutu wowo Yave kabieka nlongo.
17 The earth split open and swallowed up Dathan; it buried Abiram and his followers.
Ntoto wuzibuka ayi wumina Datani; ayi wufuka dikabu di batu ba Abilami
18 Fire broke out among them—a flame that burned them up.
Mbazu yilema va khatitsika batu baba kubakuka, nlaki wu mbazu wuzinisa batu bambimbi.
19 At Mount Sinai they made a calf, they bowed down before a metal idol.
Ku Holebi, bavanga muana ngombi; ayi babuongimina tumba kivangulu mu suitisa sengo.
20 They replaced their God of glory with a bull that eats grass!
Baviakisa nkembo awu mu mfikula yi ngombi yeti dia biti
21 They forgot God, their Savior, who had done marvelous things in Egypt;
Bazimbakana Nzambi, mutu wubavukisa, mutu wuvanga mambu manneni mu Ezipite,
22 performing miracles in the land of Ham, doing amazing things at the Red Sea.
bikumu mu tsi Hami ayi mambu ma tsisi va ndambu mbu wu mbuaki.
23 So he said he was going to destroy them But Moses, his chosen leader, placed himself between the Lord and the people to persuade the Lord not to destroy them in his anger.
Buna wutuba ti wukana ku babunga; enati kambu Moyize, mutu andi wukasobula, wutelama mu diambu di kuba sambildila va ntualꞌandi mu diambu di kakidila miangu miandi mi ngolo muingi kabika ku babunga.
24 Later the people refused to enter the Promised Land; they didn't trust him to do as he'd promised.
Buna balenza tsi yi makhini, basia wilukila ko tsilꞌandi.
25 They complained in their tents about the Lord, and refused to obey what he told them.
Baniunguta mu zinzo ziawu zi ngoto; ayi basia tumukina ko Yave.
26 So he raised his hand to give them a serious warning that he would bring them down in the wilderness,
Buna wuvumuna koko kuandi mu leva ndefi mu diambu diawu ti wela kuba buisa mu dikanga;
27 that he would disperse their descendants among the heathen nations, scattering them among countries far away.
ti wela buisa nkunꞌawu va khatitsika makanda; ayi wela kuba sasikisa mu yenda ntoto.
28 They gave their allegiance to Baal Peor, and ate food sacrificed to the dead.
Bakiyekula bawu veka kuidi Bali-Pewoli ayi badia makaba matambuku kuidi zinzambi zikambulu moyo.
29 They provoked the Lord by what they did, making him angry, so a plague broke out among them.
Basoka Yave muingi kafuema mu diambu di mavanga mawu mambimbi, ayi nsongo wutotuka va khatitsikꞌawu.
30 But Phinehas took a stand for the Lord and intervened, and the plague was stopped in its tracks.
Buna Pineyasi wutelama ayi wuvuata nsamu; buna nsongo wutumbu manisa.
31 He has been considered as a man who lived right from that time on and for all generations.
Buna bantangila diawu banga busonga mu zitsungi zinkuiza zikambulu tsukulu.
32 They also angered him at the waters of Meribah where things went badly for Moses because of them.
Ku minlangu mi Meliba, bafuemisa Yave; buna ziphasi zibuila Moyize mu diambu diawu.
33 They upset him so much that he spoke without thinking in the heat of the moment.
Bila batinguna Pheve yi Nzambi ayi mambu makambulu fuana matotukila mu bididi bi Moyize.
34 They did not destroy the heathen peoples as the Lord had told them to do,
Basi bunga ko batu boso bubela lutumunu lu Yave.
35 but instead they joined in with them and adopted their way of life.
Vayi bafubakana ayi makanda mankaka ayi balonguka kikhulu ki makanda beni.
36 They worshiped their pagan idols which became a trap for them.
Babuongimina bitumba biawu, biawu bikituka ntambu kuidi bawu.
37 The even sacrificed their sons and daughters to these demons.
Batambika bana bawu bababakala ayi babaketo kuidi ziphevi zimbimbi.
38 They shed the blood of innocent children, their sons and daughters, sacrificing them to the idols of Canaan. By doing so they defiled the land with blood.
Batengula menga ma batu bakambulu zaba diambu; menga ma bana bawu bababakala ayi babaketo mawu batambika kuidi bitumba bi Kana. Buna ntoto wusumuka mu diambu di menga mawu.
39 The also defiled themselves by what they did: their actions were spiritual adultery.
Bakisumuna bawu veka mu momo bavanga, mu mavanga mawu, ba ta kitsuza bawu veka.
40 So the Lord was angry with his people—he loathed those who belonged to him.
Muaki Yave wufuemina batu bandi ayi wukakumukina kiuka kiandi.
41 He handed them over to the heathen nations. These people who hated them now became their rulers.
Wuba yekula kuidi makanda ayi bobo baba lenda babayadila.
42 Their enemies dominated and subdued them with their power.
Bambeni bawu ziba yamisa ayi batulu ku tsi lulendo luawu.
43 The Lord repeatedly rescued them, but they continued with their rebellious ideas, until they were finally destroyed by their own sins.
Zikhumbu ziwombo kaba kudila vayi baba kaka bankua matingu ayi bakibivisa mu masumu mawu.
44 Despite all this, the Lord was moved by their suffering; he heard their sad cries.
Vayi wubela ziphasi ziawu mayindu thangu kawa yamikina kuawu.
45 He remembered the agreement he had made with them, and he held back because of his great kindness and love.
Mu bila kiawu, wutebukila nguizani andi moyo; ayi mu luzolo luandi lunneni wubalula lukanu.
46 He made the people who captured them treat them with mercy.
Niandi wuvanga ti bamueno kiadi kuidi bobo baba nata mu kivika.
47 Save us, Lord, our God! Bring us back together from among the nations, so we can thank you and declare how magnificent and holy you are.
Wutuvukisa, a Yave, Nzambi eto; ayi wutukutikisa tona ku makanda muingi tubaka buvutudila dizina diaku dinlongo matondo ayi nkembo mu nzitusu aku.
48 How wonderful is the Lord, the God of Israel, who lives forever and ever! Let all the people say “Amen”! Praise the Lord!
Yave kazitusu, Nzambi yi Iseli! Mu zithangu zioso ayi mu mvu ka mvu. Bika batu boso batuba: “Amen.” Luzitisa Yave.
