Psalms 106
1 Praise the Lord! Thank the Lord, for he is good! His trustworthy love lasts forever.
१यहोवा की स्तुति करो! यहोवा का धन्यवाद करो, क्योंकि वह भला है; और उसकी करुणा सदा की है!
2 Who can give an account of all the wonderful things the Lord has done? Who can give him all the praise he is due?
२यहोवा के पराक्रम के कामों का वर्णन कौन कर सकता है, या उसका पूरा गुणानुवाद कौन सुना सकता है?
3 Happy are those who treat people fairly, who always do what is right.
३क्या ही धन्य हैं वे जो न्याय पर चलते, और हर समय धर्म के काम करते हैं!
4 Please remember me when you are generous to your people; think of me when you come to save.
४हे यहोवा, अपनी प्रजा पर की, प्रसन्नता के अनुसार मुझे स्मरण कर, मेरे उद्धार के लिये मेरी सुधि ले,
5 Let me see your chosen people prosperous; let me be happy together with your nation; let me share in being proud of you with those who belong to you.
५कि मैं तेरे चुने हुओं का कल्याण देखूँ, और तेरी प्रजा के आनन्द में आनन्दित हो जाऊँ; और तेरे निज भाग के संग बड़ाई करने पाऊँ।
6 We have sinned just like our forefathers. We have done wrong. We are guilty.
६हमने तो अपने पुरखाओं के समान पाप किया है; हमने कुटिलता की, हमने दुष्टता की है!
7 They didn't pay attention to the wonderful things you did. They didn't keep in mind how much you loved them, but chose to rebel at the sea, the Red Sea.
७मिस्र में हमारे पुरखाओं ने तेरे आश्चर्यकर्मों पर मन नहीं लगाया, न तेरी अपार करुणा को स्मरण रखा; उन्होंने समुद्र के किनारे, अर्थात् लाल समुद्र के किनारे पर बलवा किया।
8 Even so he saved them because of the kind of person he is, and to show his power
८तो भी उसने अपने नाम के निमित्त उनका उद्धार किया, जिससे वह अपने पराक्रम को प्रगट करे।
9 He gave his order to the Red Sea, and it dried up. He led his people across the seabed as if it were a desert.
९तब उसने लाल समुद्र को घुड़का और वह सूख गया; और वह उन्हें गहरे जल के बीच से मानो जंगल में से निकाल ले गया।
10 He rescued them from those who hated them; he saved them from their enemies' power.
१०उसने उन्हें बैरी के हाथ से उबारा, और शत्रु के हाथ से छुड़ा लिया।
11 The water drowned their enemies—none of them survived,
११और उनके शत्रु जल में डूब गए; उनमें से एक भी न बचा।
12 Then his people trusted in what he promised, and sang his praises.
१२तब उन्होंने उसके वचनों का विश्वास किया; और उसकी स्तुति गाने लगे।
13 But they quickly forgot what he had done for them, and they didn't listen to his advice.
१३परन्तु वे झट उसके कामों को भूल गए; और उसकी युक्ति के लिये न ठहरे।
14 They were filled with desperate cravings in the wilderness; they provoked God in the desert.
१४उन्होंने जंगल में अति लालसा की और निर्जल स्थान में परमेश्वर की परीक्षा की।
15 He gave them what they wanted, but sent them a plague as well.
१५तब उसने उन्हें मुँह माँगा वर तो दिया, परन्तु उनके प्राण को सूखा दिया।
16 In the camp the people became jealous of Moses, and of Aaron, the Lord's holy priest.
१६उन्होंने छावनी में मूसा के, और यहोवा के पवित्र जन हारून के विषय में डाह की,
17 The earth split open and swallowed up Dathan; it buried Abiram and his followers.
१७भूमि फटकर दातान को निगल गई, और अबीराम के झुण्ड को निगल लिया।
18 Fire broke out among them—a flame that burned them up.
१८और उनके झुण्ड में आग भड़क उठी; और दुष्ट लोग लौ से भस्म हो गए।
19 At Mount Sinai they made a calf, they bowed down before a metal idol.
१९उन्होंने होरेब में बछड़ा बनाया, और ढली हुई मूर्ति को दण्डवत् किया।
20 They replaced their God of glory with a bull that eats grass!
२०उन्होंने परमेश्वर की महिमा, को घास खानेवाले बैल की प्रतिमा से बदल डाला।
21 They forgot God, their Savior, who had done marvelous things in Egypt;
२१वे अपने उद्धारकर्ता परमेश्वर को भूल गए, जिसने मिस्र में बड़े-बड़े काम किए थे।
22 performing miracles in the land of Ham, doing amazing things at the Red Sea.
२२उसने तो हाम के देश में आश्चर्यकर्मों और लाल समुद्र के तट पर भयंकर काम किए थे।
23 So he said he was going to destroy them But Moses, his chosen leader, placed himself between the Lord and the people to persuade the Lord not to destroy them in his anger.
२३इसलिए उसने कहा कि मैं इन्हें सत्यानाश कर डालता यदि मेरा चुना हुआ मूसा जोखिम के स्थान में उनके लिये खड़ा न होता ताकि मेरी जलजलाहट को ठंडा करे कहीं ऐसा न हो कि मैं उन्हें नाश कर डालूँ।
24 Later the people refused to enter the Promised Land; they didn't trust him to do as he'd promised.
२४उन्होंने मनभावने देश को निकम्मा जाना, और उसके वचन पर विश्वास न किया।
25 They complained in their tents about the Lord, and refused to obey what he told them.
२५वे अपने तम्बुओं में कुड़कुड़ाए, और यहोवा का कहा न माना।
26 So he raised his hand to give them a serious warning that he would bring them down in the wilderness,
२६तब उसने उनके विषय में शपथ खाई कि मैं इनको जंगल में नाश करूँगा,
27 that he would disperse their descendants among the heathen nations, scattering them among countries far away.
२७और इनके वंश को अन्यजातियों के सम्मुख गिरा दूँगा, और देश-देश में तितर-बितर करूँगा।
28 They gave their allegiance to Baal Peor, and ate food sacrificed to the dead.
२८वे बालपोर देवता को पूजने लगे और मुर्दों को चढ़ाए हुए पशुओं का माँस खाने लगे।
29 They provoked the Lord by what they did, making him angry, so a plague broke out among them.
२९यों उन्होंने अपने कामों से उसको क्रोध दिलाया, और मरी उनमें फूट पड़ी।
30 But Phinehas took a stand for the Lord and intervened, and the plague was stopped in its tracks.
३०तब पीनहास ने उठकर न्यायदण्ड दिया, जिससे मरी थम गई।
31 He has been considered as a man who lived right from that time on and for all generations.
३१और यह उसके लेखे पीढ़ी से पीढ़ी तक सर्वदा के लिये धर्म गिना गया।
32 They also angered him at the waters of Meribah where things went badly for Moses because of them.
३२उन्होंने मरीबा के सोते के पास भी यहोवा का क्रोध भड़काया, और उनके कारण मूसा की हानि हुई;
33 They upset him so much that he spoke without thinking in the heat of the moment.
३३क्योंकि उन्होंने उसकी आत्मा से बलवा किया, तब मूसा बिन सोचे बोल उठा।
34 They did not destroy the heathen peoples as the Lord had told them to do,
३४जिन लोगों के विषय यहोवा ने उन्हें आज्ञा दी थी, उनको उन्होंने सत्यानाश न किया,
35 but instead they joined in with them and adopted their way of life.
३५वरन् उन्हीं जातियों से हिलमिल गए और उनके व्यवहारों को सीख लिया;
36 They worshiped their pagan idols which became a trap for them.
३६और उनकी मूर्तियों की पूजा करने लगे, और वे उनके लिये फंदा बन गई।
37 The even sacrificed their sons and daughters to these demons.
३७वरन् उन्होंने अपने बेटे-बेटियों को पिशाचों के लिये बलिदान किया;
38 They shed the blood of innocent children, their sons and daughters, sacrificing them to the idols of Canaan. By doing so they defiled the land with blood.
३८और अपने निर्दोष बेटे-बेटियों का लहू बहाया जिन्हें उन्होंने कनान की मूर्तियों पर बलि किया, इसलिए देश खून से अपवित्र हो गया।
39 The also defiled themselves by what they did: their actions were spiritual adultery.
३९और वे आप अपने कामों के द्वारा अशुद्ध हो गए, और अपने कार्यों के द्वारा व्यभिचारी भी बन गए।
40 So the Lord was angry with his people—he loathed those who belonged to him.
४०तब यहोवा का क्रोध अपनी प्रजा पर भड़का, और उसको अपने निज भाग से घृणा आई;
41 He handed them over to the heathen nations. These people who hated them now became their rulers.
४१तब उसने उनको अन्यजातियों के वश में कर दिया, और उनके बैरियों ने उन पर प्रभुता की।
42 Their enemies dominated and subdued them with their power.
४२उनके शत्रुओं ने उन पर अत्याचार किया, और वे उनके हाथों तले दब गए।
43 The Lord repeatedly rescued them, but they continued with their rebellious ideas, until they were finally destroyed by their own sins.
४३बारम्बार उसने उन्हें छुड़ाया, परन्तु वे उसके विरुद्ध बलवा करते गए, और अपने अधर्म के कारण दबते गए।
44 Despite all this, the Lord was moved by their suffering; he heard their sad cries.
४४फिर भी जब जब उनका चिल्लाना उसके कान में पड़ा, तब-तब उसने उनके संकट पर दृष्टि की!
45 He remembered the agreement he had made with them, and he held back because of his great kindness and love.
४५और उनके हित अपनी वाचा को स्मरण करके अपनी अपार करुणा के अनुसार तरस खाया,
46 He made the people who captured them treat them with mercy.
४६और जो उन्हें बन्दी करके ले गए थे उन सबसे उन पर दया कराई।
47 Save us, Lord, our God! Bring us back together from among the nations, so we can thank you and declare how magnificent and holy you are.
४७हे हमारे परमेश्वर यहोवा, हमारा उद्धार कर, और हमें अन्यजातियों में से इकट्ठा कर ले, कि हम तेरे पवित्र नाम का धन्यवाद करें, और तेरी स्तुति करते हुए तेरे विषय में बड़ाई करें।
48 How wonderful is the Lord, the God of Israel, who lives forever and ever! Let all the people say “Amen”! Praise the Lord!
४८इस्राएल का परमेश्वर यहोवा अनादिकाल से अनन्तकाल तक धन्य है! और सारी प्रजा कहे “आमीन!” यहोवा की स्तुति करो।
