< Psalms 103 >
1 A psalm of David. Let every part of me praise the Lord; let my whole being praise his holy character.
Dawid deɛ. Ao me kra, kamfo Awurade; na me mu adeɛ nyinaa nkamfo ne din kronkron no.
2 Let every part of me praise the Lord; don't let me forget the wonderful things he's done for me.
Ao me kra, kamfo Awurade, na mma wo werɛ mfiri ne nneyɛeɛ pa nyinaa,
3 He forgives my sins, and he heals all my diseases.
ɔno na ɔde wo mfomsoɔ nyinaa kyɛ woɔ na ɔsa wo nyarewa nyinaa,
4 He saves me from death; he honors me with trustworthy love and mercy.
ɔgye wo nkwa firi damena mu na ɔde adɔeɛ ne mmɔborɔhunu bɔ wo abotire,
5 He fills my life with all that's good; he makes me young again, strong as an eagle.
ɔde nnepa ma wo sɛ wʼapɛdeɛ na wo mmeranteberɛ yɛ foforɔ sɛ ɔkɔdeɛ.
6 The Lord does what is right, and vindicates those who are exploited.
Awurade yɛ adetenenee na ɔbu wɔn a wɔhyɛ wɔn so nyinaa atɛntenenee.
7 He explained his ways to Moses: he told the people of Israel what he was going to do.
Ɔkyerɛɛ Mose nʼakwan, na ɔmaa Israelfoɔ hunuu ne nneyɛɛ.
8 The Lord is kind and gracious, not quick-tempered, and full of trustworthy love.
Mmɔborɔhunufoɔ ne ɔdomfoɔ ne Awurade, ne bo kyɛre fu na nʼadɔeɛ dɔɔso.
9 He doesn't keep on accusing us; he doesn't stay angry with us forever.
Ɔrenkɔ so mmɔ soboɔ, na ɔrennya yɛn ho menasepɔ nkɔsi daa;
10 He does not punish us for our sins as he ought to; he does not pay us back for our wrongdoing as we deserve.
Ɔrenhwɛ yɛn bɔne ne yɛn nni sɛdeɛ ɛfata na ɔrentua yɛn nnebɔne so ka sɛdeɛ ɛteɛ.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth is the extent of his trustworthy love to those who honor him.
Na sɛdeɛ ɔsoro ne asase ntam ware no, saa ara na nʼadɔeɛ so wɔ wɔn a wɔsuro no so.
12 As far as the east is from the west is how far the Lord has taken our sins away from us.
Sɛdeɛ apueeɛ ne atɔeɛ ntam ware no, saa ara na wama yɛn ne yɛn mmarato ntam kwan aware.
13 Like a loving father, the Lord is kind and compassionate to those who follow him.
Sɛdeɛ agya yam hyehye no ne mma ho no, saa ara na Awurade yam hyehye no ma wɔn a wɔsuro no,
14 For he knows how we are made; he remembers we are only dust.
na ɔnim sɛdeɛ wɔyɛɛ yɛn, ɔkae sɛ yɛyɛ mfuturo.
15 Human lifetimes are like grass: we blossom like flowers in a field,
Ɔdasani deɛ, ne nna te sɛ ɛserɛ, ɔyɛ frɔmm sɛ wiram nhwiren;
16 but then the wind blows and we are gone, disappearing without a trace.
sɛ mframa bɔ fa ne so a, na ɔnni hɔ, na ne sibea nnim no bio.
17 But the Lord's trustworthy love lasts for all eternity to those who accept him; his goodness to all generations,
Nanso ɛfiri mmerɛsanten kɔsi nnasanten Awurade adɔeɛ wɔ wɔn a wɔsuro no so, na ne tenenee wɔ wɔn mma mma so,
18 to those who keep his agreement and who remember to follow his commandments.
wɔn a wɔdi nʼapam no so na wɔkae di ne mmara so.
19 The Lord has set up his throne in the heavens, and he rules over all.
Awurade asi nʼahennwa wɔ soro, na nʼahennie di adeɛ nyinaa so.
20 Praise the Lord, you angels, you powerful ones who do what he says, listening to what he tells you!
Monkamfo Awurade, mo a moyɛ nʼabɔfoɔ, mo atumfoɔ a moyɛ nʼahyɛdeɛ, mo a motie nʼasɛm.
21 Praise the Lord, you heavenly armies who serve him and carry out his will!
Monkamfo Awurade, ɔsoro asafo nyinaa, nʼasomfoɔ a moyɛ nʼapɛdeɛ.
22 Praise the Lord, everything in his creation, everyone under his rule, and let every part of me praise the Lord!
Monkamfo Awurade, ne nnwuma nyinaa deɛ ɛwɔ nʼaheman mu nyinaa. Ao me ɔkra, kamfo Awurade!
