< Proverbs 2 >
1 My son, if you accept what I say and value my instructions,
Mwana na ngai, soki ondimi maloba na ngai mpe obateli kati na motema na yo mibeko na ngai;
2 if you pay attention to wisdom and really try to understand;
soki opesi litoyi na yo na maloba ya bwanya mpe okabi motema na yo na makambo ya mayele;
3 if you cry out for insight and call loudly for help in understanding;
soki obeleli mayele mpe ogangi epai ya bososoli;
4 if you look for it as if it were silver and search for it as if it were hidden treasure;
soki oluki yango penza ndenge balukaka palata to bomengo oyo ebombama,
5 then you will understand how to relate to the Lord and discover the truth about God.
okososola solo soki kotosa Yawe elakisi nini mpe okozwa boyebi ya Nzambe.
6 The Lord is the source of wisdom; what he says provides knowledge that makes sense.
Pamba te Yawe nde apesaka bwanya, mpe maloba ya monoko na Ye epesaka mayele mpe bososoli.
7 He gives good judgment to those who live right; he defends those who have good sense.
Abongiselaka bato ya sembo elonga mpe azali nguba ya bato oyo batambolaka na bosembo.
8 He supports those who act fairly and protects those who trust in him.
Pamba te abatelaka bayengebene mpe nzela ya bato oyo batosaka Ye.
9 Then you will be able to recognize what is right and just and fair, in fact all that is good in the way you should live.
Boye, okososola likambo nini ezali solo, alima, sembo: nzela nyonso oyo ememaka na bolamu.
10 For wisdom will fill your mind, and knowledge will make you happy.
Pamba te bwanya ekokota kati na motema na yo mpe boyebi ekosepelisa molimo na yo.
11 Good decisions will keep you on track; thinking logically will keep you safe.
Bososoli ekobatela yo, mpe mayele ekobomba yo
12 Doing this will save you from the ways of evil, from men who tell twisted lies,
mpo na kobikisa yo na nzela mabe, na moto oyo alobaka makambo ezanga tina,
13 who turn away from following what is right to walk down paths of darkness.
na bato oyo batikaka nzela ya sembo mpo na kolanda nzela ya molili,
14 They happily do wrong; they love how twisted evil is.
na bato oyo basepelaka kosala mabe, na bato oyo bazalaka na esengo ya kokota na bozindo ya mabe,
15 They live crooked lives doing deceitful things.
na bato oyo nzela na bango etengama-tengama mpe etamboli na bango etonda na mobulu.
16 Doing this will also save you from a woman who acts immorally, from a woman who like a prostitute tries to seduce you with flattering words.
Bwanya ekobikisa yo lisusu liboso ya mwasi mopaya, liboso ya mwasi oyo atonda na maloba ya sukali,
17 Such a woman has left her husband she married when she was young, forgetting the promises she made before God.
oyo akima mobali na ye ya bolenge mpe abosana boyokani oyo asalaki elongo na Nzambe na ye;
18 What happens in her house leads to death; following her way leads to the grave.
pamba te ndako na ye ememaka na kufa, mpe nzela na ye ememaka na mboka ya bakufi.
19 No one who goes to her comes back; they don't ever find the way back to life again.
Moto moko te oyo akotaka epai na ye azongaka mpe amonaka lisusu nzela ya bomoi.
20 So you should follow the way of the good, and make sure you stay on the paths of those who do right.
Boye, okotambola na nzela ya bato malamu mpe okolanda nzela ya bato ya sembo.
21 For only people who live right will live in the land; only honest people will remain there.
Pamba te bato ya sembo bakovanda na mokili, mpe bato oyo bazangi pamela bakotikala kati na yango;
22 But the wicked will be thrown out of the land; those who are untrustworthy will be pulled out by the roots.
kasi bato mabe bakokufa na mokili mpe bakolongola bango kati na mokili ya bato ya songisongi.
