Proverbs 12
1 If you love knowledge, you will love discipline. Anyone who hates being corrected is stupid!
১যি জনে অনুশাসন ভাল পায়, তেওঁ জ্ঞানকো ভাল পায়; কিন্তু যি জনে অনুযোগ ঘিণ কৰে, তেওঁ নিৰ্বোধ।
2 The Lord blesses the good, but he condemns anyone with evil schemes.
২শুদ্ধ লোকে যিহোৱাৰ পৰা অনুগ্ৰহ পায়; কিন্তু যিজনে দুষ্ট কৰ্মৰ পৰিকল্পনা কৰে, তেওঁক দোষাৰোপ কৰা হয়।
3 Wickedness doesn't provide security, but those who live right are deeply rooted and cannot be moved.
৩কোনো লোক দুষ্টতাৰ দ্বাৰাই সংস্থাপিত নহয়; কিন্তু সত্যতাত চলা জনৰ মূল লৰচৰ নহব।
4 A good wife is a crown for her husband, but one who brings shame is like rot in his bones.
৪গুণৱতী ভাৰ্যা স্বামীৰ মুকুটৰ দৰে; কিন্তু লাজ দিওঁতা মহিলাৰ অস্থি ক্ষয়কাৰী ৰোগ যেন হয়।
5 Good people make plans that are fair, but the advice of the wicked is deceptive.
৫সত্যতাত চলা জনৰ পৰিকল্পনা ন্যায় হয়; কিন্তু দুষ্টলোকৰ উপদেশ প্ৰতাৰণাপূৰ্ণ।
6 The words of the wicked are like a violent ambush, but those of honest people save them.
৬দুষ্টলোকৰ কথাবোৰ ৰক্তপাত কৰিবলৈ খাপ দিয়াৰ দৰে হয়; কিন্তু ন্যায় কৰাসকলৰ কথাই তেওঁলোকক সুৰক্ষিত কৰে।
7 The wicked are destroyed, and they're gone, but the family of the good stands firm.
৭দুষ্টলোকক বিনষ্ট কৰা হয় আৰু তেওঁলোক নাইকিয়া হয়; কিন্তু যিসকল লোকে সত্যতাত চলে, তেওঁলোকৰ ঘৰ থিৰে থাকে।
8 People are appreciated for talking sense, but those with perverted minds are despised.
৮মানুহে নিজৰ প্রজ্ঞা অনুসাৰে প্ৰশংসা পায়; কিন্তু কুটিল কাৰ্য কৰা লোক ঘৃণনীয় হয়।
9 Better to be a humble man serving himself than a boastful man who has nothing to eat.
৯গুৰুত্বহীন পদত থকাতকৈ কেৱল দাস হোৱাই ভাল; খাবলৈ নাই কিন্তু নিজৰ গুৰুত্বকলৈ অহংকাৰ কৰে।
10 Good people look after their animals, but the care given by wicked is really cruelty.
১০যিজনে সত্যতাত চলে, তেওঁ নিজৰ পশুৰ প্রয়োজনীয়তালৈ যত্ন কৰে; কিন্তু দুষ্টলোকৰ সহানুভুতি নিষ্ঠুৰতাযুক্ত।
11 If you cultivate the land you'll have plenty of food, but if you chase after worthless things you're stupid.
১১যিজনে নিজৰ মাটিত চহায়, তেওঁ জোৰাওকৈ আহাৰ পায়; কিন্তু যিজনে মূল্যহীন অভিপ্রায়ৰ অনুগামী হয়, তেওঁ জ্ঞানশূন্য।
12 Wicked people long for ill-gotten gains, but good people are productive themselves.
১২দুষ্টলোকে আনৰ পৰা চুৰ কৰা বস্তুৰ প্রতি পাপীলোকে আকাংক্ষা কৰে; কিন্তু সত্যতাত চলা জনৰ ফল নিজৰ পৰাই আহে।
13 The wicked trap themselves by their own sinful words, but good people escape trouble.
১৩পাপী জনক তেওঁৰ কুকথাই ফান্দত পেলাই; কিন্তু সত্যতাত চলাজন সঙ্কটৰ পৰা ৰক্ষা পায়।
14 What you say brings you rewards, and your work returns to bless you.
১৪মানুহে নিজৰ কথাৰ ফলৰ দ্বাৰাই ভাল বিষয়ত পৰিপূৰ্ণ হয়; তেওঁ নিজৰ হাতেৰে কৰা কামৰ দ্বাৰাই পুৰস্কাৰ পায়।
15 Stupid people think they're on the right track, but if you're wise you listen to advice.
১৫অজ্ঞানীৰ পথ তেওঁৰ নিজৰ দৃষ্টিত শুদ্ধ; কিন্তু জ্ঞানীজনে পৰামৰ্শ শুনে।
16 Stupid people get angry immediately, but if you're sensible you ignore an insult.
১৬অজ্ঞানীয়ে খন্তেকতে খং দেখুৱাই; কিন্তু যিজনে অপমান অবজ্ঞা কৰে, তেওঁ দূৰদৰ্শী হয়।
17 Whoever tells the truth is being honest, but a false witness tells lies.
১৭যিজন সত্যবাদী, তেওঁ ন্যায় কথা কয়; কিন্তু মিছা সাক্ষীয়ে মিছা কথাহে কয়।
18 Some people's hasty words cut like a knife, but the words of the wise bring healing.
১৮যিজনে বিবেচনা নকৰি তৎক্ষণাত কথা কয়, তেওঁ তৰোৱালৰ আঘাতৰ দৰে; কিন্তু জ্ঞানী লোকৰ জিভাই সুস্থতা আনে।
19 Words of truth last forever, but lies are gone in a moment.
১৯সত্যবাদী ওঁঠ চিৰকাললৈকে থাকে; কিন্তু মিছা কোৱা জিভা ক্ষন্তেকীয়া।
20 Deceit is in the mind of those planning evil, but those who plan peace have joy.
২০কুকল্পনা কৰা সকলৰ মনত প্ৰতাৰণা থাকে; কিন্তু শান্তিৰ পৰামৰ্শ দিয়া সকলৰ আনন্দ হয়।
21 No harm comes to the good, but trouble fills the wicked.
২১সত্যতাত চলা জনলৈ কোনো ৰোগ নাহে; কিন্তু দুষ্টলোক সমস্যাৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ হয়।
22 The Lord hates liars but is happy with those who are trustworthy.
২২মিছা কোৱা ওঁঠ যিহোৱাৰ ঘিণলগীয়া; কিন্তু সত্য আচৰণ কৰাসকলে তেওঁক আনন্দিত কৰে।
23 If you're sensible, you don't show off your knowledge, but stupid people announce their stupidity.
২৩দূৰদৰ্শী লোকে জ্ঞান গুপুতে ৰাখে; কিন্তু অজ্ঞানীৰ মনে নিৰ্বুদ্ধিতা প্ৰকাশ কৰে।
24 Hard work brings leadership, but laziness brings slavery.
২৪পৰিশ্ৰমীসকলৰ হাতে শাসন কৰিবলৈ পাব; কিন্তু এলেহুৱা লোকক বাধ্যতাৰে পৰিশ্রম কৰিব দিয়া হ’ব।
25 If you're anxious, you're weighed down, but an encouraging word will cheer you up.
২৫মানুহৰ মনৰ দুচিন্তাই তেওঁৰ মূল্য কম কৰে; কিন্তু ভাল কথাই তেওঁক আনন্দিত কৰে।
26 Good people look out for their friends, but the way the wicked live leads them astray.
২৬সত্যতাত চলা জন তেওঁৰ বন্ধুৰ পথ দৰ্শক হয়; কিন্তু দুষ্টলোকৰ পথে তেওঁলোকক বিপথে নিয়ে।
27 Lazy people don't catch their prey, but if you work hard you can become rich.
২৭এলেহুৱাই নিজে ধৰা চিকাৰ নাৰান্ধে; কিন্তু পৰিশ্ৰমী লোকে মূল্যবান সম্পত্তি লাভ কৰে।
28 The path of right leads to life, it doesn't lead to death.
২৮যিসকলে সজ পথত চলে, তেওঁলোকে জীৱন পায়; আৰু এই পথত মৃত্যু নাই।
