Numbers 31
1 The Lord told Moses,
| و خداوند موسی را خطاب کرده، گفت: | ۱ |
2 “Punish the Midianites because of what they did to the Israelites. After that you will join your forefathers in death.”
| «انتقام بنی‌اسرائیل را از مدیانیان بگیر، و بعد از آن به قوم خود ملحق خواهی شد.» | ۲ |
3 Moses instructed the people, “Have some of your men get ready for battle, so they can go and attack the Midianites and carry out the Lord's punishment on them.
| پس موسی قوم را مخاطب ساخته، گفت: «ازمیان خود مردان برای جنگ مهیا سازید تا به مقابله مدیان برآیند، و انتقام خداوند را از مدیان بکشند. | ۳ |
4 You are to contribute one thousand men from each Israelite tribe.”
| هزار نفر از هر سبط از جمیع اسباطاسرائیل برای جنگ بفرستید.» | ۴ |
5 So one thousand men were chosen from each Israelite tribe, making twelve thousand troops ready for battle.
| پس از هزاره های اسرائیل، از هر سبط یک هزار، یعنی دوازده هزار نفر مهیا شده برای جنگ منتخب شدند. | ۵ |
6 Moses sent them into battle, one thousand from each tribe, together with Phinehas, son of Eleazar the priest. He carried with him the holy objects from the sanctuary and the trumpets used for giving signals.
| و موسی ایشان را هزار نفر از هرسبط به جنگ فرستاد، ایشان را با فینحاس بن العازار کاهن و اسباب قدس و کرناها برای نواختن در دستش به جنگ فرستاد. | ۶ |
7 They attacked the Midianites, as the Lord had told Moses to do, and they killed all the men.
| و با مدیان به طوری که خداوند موسی را امر فرموده بود، جنگ کرده، همه ذکوران را کشتند. | ۷ |
8 Among those killed were the five kings of Midian, Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba. They also killed Balaam, son of Beor, with the sword.
| و در میان کشتگان ملوک مدیان یعنی اوی و راقم و صور و حور و رابع، پنج پادشاه مدیان را کشتند، بلعام بن بعور را به شمشیر کشتند. | ۸ |
9 The Israelites captured the Midianite women and children, and they took as plunder all their herds, flocks, and possessions.
| و بنی‌اسرائیل زنان مدیان واطفال ایشان را به اسیری بردند، و جمیع بهایم وجمیع مواشی ایشان و همه املاک ایشان را غارت کردند. | ۹ |
10 They set fire to all the Midianite towns and camps where they had lived,
| و تمامی شهرها و مساکن و قلعه های ایشان را به آتش سوزانیدند. | ۱۰ |
11 and carried away all the plunder and loot, including people and animals.
| و تمامی غنیمت و جمیع غارت را از انسان و بهایم گرفتند. | ۱۱ |
12 They brought the prisoners, loot, and plunder to Moses, to Eleazar the priest, and to the rest of the Israelites where they were camped on the plains of Moab, beside the Jordan opposite Jericho.
| واسیران و غارت و غنیمت را نزد موسی و العازارکاهن و جماعت بنی‌اسرائیل در لشکرگاه درعربات موآب، که نزد اردن در مقابل اریحاست، آوردند. | ۱۲ |
13 Moses, Eleazar the priest, and all the Israelite leaders went out of the camp to meet them.
| و موسی و العازار کاهن و تمامی سروران جماعت بیرون از لشکرگاه به استقبال ایشان آمدند. | ۱۳ |
14 Moses was angry with the army officers, the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds, who returned from the battle.
| و موسی بر روسای لشکر یعنی سرداران هزاره‌ها و سرداران صدها که از خدمت جنگ باز آمده بودند، غضبناک شد. | ۱۴ |
15 “Why did you let all the women live?” he asked them.
| و موسی به ایشان گفت: «آیا همه زنان را زنده نگاه داشتید؟ | ۱۵ |
16 “You realize that these were the women seduced the Israelite men, leading them to be unfaithful to the Lord at Peor, following Balaam's advice! That's why the Lord's people suffered from the plague!
| اینک اینانند که برحسب مشورت بلعام، بنی‌اسرائیل را واداشتند تا در امر فغور به خداوندخیانت ورزیدند و در جماعت خداوند وباعارض شد. | ۱۶ |
17 So go and kill all the boys and every woman who has had slept with a man.
| پس الان هر ذکوری از اطفال رابکشید، و هر زنی را که مرد را شناخته، با اوهمبستر شده باشد، بکشید. | ۱۷ |
18 Let all the girls who are virgins live. They are yours.
| و از زنان هردختری را که مرد را نشناخته، و با او همبسترنشده برای خود زنده نگاه دارید. | ۱۸ |
19 All those of you who killed someone or touched a dead body must stay outside the camp for seven days. Purify yourselves and your prisoners on the third day and the seventh day.
| و شما هفت روز بیرون از لشکرگاه خیمه زنید، و هر شخصی را کشته و هر‌که کشته‌ای را لمس نموده باشد ازشما و اسیران شما در روز سوم و در روز هفتم، خود را تطهیر نماید. | ۱۹ |
20 Also purify all your clothing garment and anything made of leather, goat's hair, or wood.”
| و هر جامه و هرظرف چرمی و هر‌چه از پشم بز ساخته شده باشد و هرظرف چوبین را تطهیر نمایید.» | ۲۰ |
21 Eleazar the priest told the soldiers who had gone into battle, “These are the legal regulations that the Lord has ordered Moses to be carried out:
| و العازار کاهن به مردان جنگی که به مقاتله رفته بودند، گفت: «این است قانون شریعتی که خداوند به موسی‌امر فرموده است: | ۲۱ |
22 All that's made of gold, silver, bronze, iron, tin, and lead—
| طلا و نقره و برنج و آهن و روی و سرب، | ۲۲ |
23 anything that doesn't burn—must be put through fire to make it clean. But it still has to be purified using water of purification. Anything that burns must be put through the water.
| یعنی هر‌چه متحمل آتش بشود، آن را از آتش بگذرانید و طاهر خواهد شد، و به آب تنزیه نیز آن را طاهرسازند و هر‌چه متحمل آتش نشود، آن را از آب بگذرانید. | ۲۳ |
24 Wash your clothes on the seventh day and you will be clean. Then you can enter the camp.”
| و در روز هفتم رخت خود رابشویید تا طاهر شوید، و بعد از آن به لشکرگاه داخل شوید.» | ۲۴ |
25 The Lord told Moses,
| و خداوند موسی را خطاب کرده، گفت: | ۲۵ |
26 “You, Eleazar the priest, and the Israelite family leaders are to take a record of the people and animals that were captured.
| «تو و العازار کاهن و سروران خاندان آبای جماعت، حساب غنایمی که گرفته شده است، چه از انسان و چه از بهایم بگیرید. | ۲۶ |
27 Then divide them between the troops who went into battle and the rest of the Israelites.
| و غنیمت رادر میان مردان جنگی که به مقاتله بیرون رفته‌اند، وتمامی جماعت نصف نما. | ۲۷ |
28 Take as a contribution to the Lord from what is allocated to the troops who went into battle one out of every five hundred people, cattle, donkeys, or sheep.
| و از مردان جنگی که به مقاتله بیرون رفته‌اند زکات برای خداوندبگیر، یعنی یک نفر از پانصد چه از انسان و چه ازگاو و چه از الاغ و چه از گوسفند. | ۲۸ |
29 Take this from their half share and give it to Eleazar the priest as an offering to the Lord.
| از قسمت ایشان بگیر و به العازار کاهن بده تا هدیه افراشتنی برای خداوند باشد. | ۲۹ |
30 From the Israelites; half share, take one out of every fifty people, cattle, donkeys, or sheep, or other animals, and give them to the Levites who take care of the Lord's Tabernacle.”
| و از قسمت بنی‌اسرائیل یکی که از هر پنجاه نفر گرفته شده باشد چه ازانسان و چه از گاو و چه از الاغ و چه از گوسفند وچه از جمیع بهایم بگیر، و آنها را به لاویانی که ودیعت مسکن خداوند را نگاه می‌دارند، بده.» | ۳۰ |
31 Moses and Eleazar the priest did as the Lord had ordered Moses.
| پس موسی و العازار کاهن برحسب آنچه خداوند به موسی‌امر فرموده بود، عمل کردند. | ۳۱ |
32 This was the list of plunder remaining that had been looted by the troops: 675,000 sheep,
| و غنیمت سوای آن غنیمتی که مردان جنگی گرفته بودند، از گوسفند ششصد و هفتاد و پنج هزار راس بود. | ۳۲ |
33 72,000 cattle,
| و از گاو هفتاد و دو هزار راس. | ۳۳ |
34 61,000 donkeys,
| و از الاغ شصت و یک هزار راس. | ۳۴ |
35 and 32,000 virgins.
| و ازانسان از زنانی که مرد را نشناخته بودند، سی و دوهزار نفر بودند. | ۳۵ |
36 This was the half share for those who had gone to fight: 337,500 sheep,
| و نصفه‌ای که قسمت کسانی بود که به جنگ رفته بودند، سیصد و سی و هفت هزار و پانصد گوسفند بود. | ۳۶ |
37 with a contribution for the Lord of 675,
| و زکات خداوند ازگوسفند ششصد و هفتاد و پنج راس بود. | ۳۷ |
38 36,000 cattle, with a Lord's contribution of 72,
| وگاوان سی و شش هزار بود و از آنها زکات خداوند هفتاد و دو راس بود. | ۳۸ |
39 30,500 donkeys, with a Lord's contribution of 61,
| و الاغها سی هزار و پانصد و از آنها زکات خداوند شصت ویک راس بود. | ۳۹ |
40 and 16,000 people, with a Lord's contribution of 32.
| و مردمان شانزده هزار و ازایشان زکات خداوند سی و دو نفر بودند. | ۴۰ |
41 Moses gave the contribution to Eleazar the priest as an offering to the Lord as the Lord had ordered Moses.
| وموسی زکات را هدیه افراشتی خداوند بود به العازار کاهن داد، چنانکه خداوند به موسی‌امرفرموده بود. | ۴۱ |
42 The Israelites' half share left after Moses had given the half share to the troops who had gone to fight,
| و از قسمت بنی‌اسرائیل که موسی آن را ازمردان جنگی جدا کرده بود، | ۴۲ |
43 consisted of: 337,500 sheep,
| و قسمت جماعت از گوسفندان، سیصد و سی هزار وپانصد راس بود. | ۴۳ |
44 36,000 cattle,
| و از گاوان سی و شش هزارراس. | ۴۴ |
45 30,500 donkeys,
| و از الاغها، سی هزار و پانصد راس. | ۴۵ |
46 and 16,000 people.
| واز انسان، شانزده هزار نفر. | ۴۶ |
47 Moses took from the Israelites' half one out of every fifty people and animals and gave them the Levites who take care of the Lord's Tabernacle, as the Lord had ordered him.
| و موسی از قسمت بنی‌اسرائیل یکی را که از هر پنجاه گرفته شده بود، چه از انسان و چه از بهایم گرفت، و آنها را به لاویانی که ودیعت مسکن خداوند را نگاه می‌داشتند، داد، چنانکه خداوند به موسی‌امرفرموده بود. | ۴۷ |
48 The army officers, the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds, came to Moses
| و روسایی که بر هزاره های لشکر بودند، سرداران هزاره‌ها با سرداران صدها نزد موسی آمدند. | ۴۸ |
49 and told him, “We, your servants, have checked the troops we command and not a single man is missing.
| و به موسی گفتند: «بندگانت حساب مردان جنگی را که زیردست ما می‌باشند گرفتیم، و از ما یک نفر مفقود نشده است. | ۴۹ |
50 So we have brought the Lord an offering of the gold objects each man received—armlets, bracelets, rings, earrings, and necklaces—in order that we may be right before the Lord.”
| پس ما ازآنچه هر کس یافته است هدیه‌ای برای خداوندآورده‌ایم از زیورهای طلا و خلخالها ودست بندها و انگشترها و گوشواره‌ها وگردن بندها تا برای جانهای ما به حضور خداوند کفاره شود.» | ۵۰ |
51 Moses and Eleazar the priest accepted from them all the objects made out of gold.
| و موسی و العازار کاهن، طلا وهمه زیورهای مصنوعه را از ایشان گرفتند. | ۵۱ |
52 The gold that the commanders of thousands and of hundreds gave as an offering to the Lord weighed in total 16,750 shekels.
| وتمامی طلای هدیه‌ای که از سرداران هزاره‌ها وسرداران صدها برای خداوند گذرانیدند، شانزده هزار و هفتصد و پنجاه مثقال بود. | ۵۲ |
53 (The men who had fought in the battle had each taken plunder for himself.)
| زیرا که هریکی از مردان جنگی غنیمتی برای خود برده بودند. | ۵۳ |
54 Moses and Eleazar the priest accepted the gold from the commanders of thousands and of hundreds and took it into the Tent of Meeting as a memorial offering for the Israelites in the presence of the Lord.
| و موسی و العازار کاهن، طلا را ازسرداران هزاره‌ها و صدها گرفته، به خیمه اجتماع آوردند تا بجهت بنی‌اسرائیل، به حضور خداوندیادگار باشد. | ۵۴ |
