< Numbers 17 >
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
2 “Tell the Israelites to bring twelve walking sticks, one from the leader of each tribe. Write the name of each man on the walking stick,
Speak - to [the] people of Israel and take from with them a rod a rod for [the] house of an ancestor from with all leaders their to [the] house of ancestors their two [plus] ten rods each name his you will write on rod his.
3 and write Aaron's name on the walking stick of the tribe of Levi, because there has to be a walking stick for the head of each tribe.
And [the] name of Aaron you will write on [the] rod of Levi for a rod one [is] for [the] head of [the] house of ancestors their.
4 Place the walking sticks in the Tent of Meeting in front of the Testimony where I meet with you.
And you will deposit them in [the] tent of meeting before the testimony where I meet you there.
5 The walking stick that belongs to the man I choose will sprout buds, and I will put a stop to the Israelites' constant complaints against you.”
And it will be the man whom I will choose him rod his it will bud and I will put an end to from on me [the] grumblings of [the] people of Israel which they [are] grumbling on you.
6 Moses explained this to the Israelites, and each of their leaders gave him a walking stick, one for each of the leaders of their tribes. So there were twelve walking sticks including the one belonging to Aaron.
And he spoke Moses to [the] people of Israel and they gave to him - all leaders their a rod for a leader one a rod for a leader one to [the] house of ancestors their two [plus] ten rods and [the] rod of Aaron [was] in among rods their.
7 Moses placed the walking sticks before the Lord in the Tent of the Testimony.
And he deposited Moses the rods before Yahweh in [the] tent of the testimony.
8 The next day Moses went into the Tent of the Testimony and saw that Aaron's walking stick that represented the tribe of Levi, had sprouted and developed buds, flowered and produced almonds.
And it was from [the] next day and he went Moses into [the] tent of the testimony and there! it had budded [the] rod of Aaron of [the] house of Levi and it had put forth bud[s] and it had blossomed blossom and it had ripened almonds.
9 Moses took all the walking sticks from the presence of the Lord and showed them to all the Israelites. They saw them, and each man collected his own walking stick.
And he brought out Moses all the rods from to before Yahweh to all [the] people of Israel and they saw and they took each one rod his.
10 The Lord told Moses, “Put Aaron's walking stick back in front of the Testimony, to be kept there as a reminder to warn anyone who wants to rebel, so that you may stop their complaining against me. Otherwise they'll die.”
And he said Yahweh to Moses put back [the] rod of Aaron before the testimony for keeping for a sign for [the] sons of rebellion and may you put an end to grumblings their from on me and not they will die.
11 Moses did what the Lord ordered him to do.
And he did Moses just as he had commanded Yahweh him so he did.
12 Then the Israelites came and told Moses, “Can't you see we're all going to die? We'll be destroyed! We're all going to be killed!
And they said [the] people of Israel to Moses saying here! we will die we will perish all of us (we will perish. *LAB(h)*)
13 Anyone who dares to approach the Tabernacle of the Lord will die. Are we all going to be completely wiped out?”
Every [person] approaching - [person] approaching to [the] tabernacle of Yahweh he will die ¿ or will we complete to die.
