Numbers 15
1 The Lord told Moses,
Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse en ces termes:
2 “Tell the Israelites, ‘These are instructions about what you are to do once you arrive in the country I'm giving you to live in.
Parle aux enfants d'Israël et leur dis: Quand vous serez arrivés dans le pays où vous serez fixés et que je vous donnerai,
3 When you bring an offering to the Lord from your herd or flock (whether it's a burnt offering, a sacrifice to fulfill a promise you made, or a freewill or festival offering) that will be acceptable to the Lord,
et quand vous offrirez à l'Éternel en sacrifice igné un holocauste ou une victime pour l'acquit d'un vœu ou d'un don spontané ou dans vos solennités, pour faire fumer du gros et du menu bétail en parfum agréable à l'Éternel,
4 then you shall also present a grain offering of one tenth of an ephah of best flour mixed with a quarter hin of olive oil.
celui qui présentera son oblation à l'Éternel, présentera comme offrande un dixième de fleur de farine trempée d'un quart de hin d'huile;
5 Add a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering to the burn offering or the sacrifice of a lamb.
quant au vin pour la libation, vous en ajouterez à l'holocauste ou à la victime un quart de hin pour chaque agneau.
6 When it comes to a ram, present a grain offering of two tenths of an ephah of best flour mixed with a third of a hin of olive oil,
Ou bien au bélier tu ajouteras comme offrande deux dixièmes de fleur de farine trempée d'un tiers de hin d'huile;
7 along with a third of a hin of wine as a drink offering, all of them to be acceptable to the Lord.
et pour la libation tu offriras un tiers de hin de fin en parfum agréable à l'Éternel.
8 When you bring a young bull as a burnt offering or a sacrifice to fulfill a promise you made or as a peace offering to the Lord,
Et quand tu sacrifieras un jeune taureau comme holocauste ou comme victime, pour l'acquit d'un vœu ou en sacrifice pacifique à l'Éternel,
9 then you shall also with the bull a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of the best flour mixed with half a hin of olive oil.
on présentera en sus du jeune taureau comme offrande trois dixièmes de fleur de farine trempée d'un demi-hin d'huile,
10 Add a half a hin of wine as a drink offering. All this is an offering to be acceptable to the Lord.
et pour la libation tu présenteras un demi-hin de vin en sacrifice igné d'un parfum agréable à l'Éternel.
11 This is to be done for every bull, ram, lamb, or goat brought as an offering.
C'est ce qui se pratiquera pour chaque bœuf, ou chaque bélier, ou agneau, ou chevreau;
12 This is what you need to do for each one, however many.
ainsi vous procéderez, en raison du nombre des victimes sacrifiées par vous, pour chacune, en raison de leur nombre.
13 Every Israelite is to follow these instructions when they present an offering that is accepted by the Lord.
Tout indigène le fera de cette manière pour offrir un sacrifice igné d'un parfum agréable à l'Éternel.
14 This also applies for all future generations that if a foreigner living among you or anyone else among you wishes to present an offering acceptable to the Lord: they are to do exactly what you do.
De même l'étranger séjournant chez vous, ou se rencontrant parmi vous, dans vos âges futurs, qui voudra faire un sacrifice igné d'un parfum agréable à l'Éternel, pratiquera tout ce que vous pratiquez.
15 The whole congregation must have the same rules for you and for the foreigner living among you. This is a permanent law for all future generations You and the foreigner are to be treated the same way before the law.
Quand il y aura Assemblée, il y aura une seule règle pour vous et pour l'étranger domicilié, règle perpétuelle pour vos âges futurs; l'étranger sera sur le même pied que vous devant l'Éternel.
16 The same rules and regulations apply to you and the foreigner living among you.’”
Il n'y aura qu'une seule loi, et un seul rite pour vous et pour l'étranger séjournant chez vous.
17 Then the Lord told Moses,
Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse en ces termes:
18 “Tell the Israelites, ‘When you get to the country where I'm leading you
Parle aux enfants d'Israël et leur dis: Quand vous serez arrivés au pays où je vous conduis,
19 and you eat the food produced there, you shall give some of it as an offering to the Lord.
et que vous mangerez des denrées du pays, vous prélèverez un don pour l'Éternel.
20 You are to give some of the flour you make into loaves as a gift—present it just like an offering from the threshing floor.
Comme prémices de votre mouture vous présenterez par élévation une galette; vous la présenterez comme le don prélevé sur l'aire.
21 For all future generations, you are to give the Lord an offering from the first of your flour.
Sur les prémices de votre mouture vous prélèverez un don pour l'Éternel dans tous vos âges.
22 Now if you collectively sin without meaning to and don't follow all these instructions that the Lord has given Moses—
Et si vous manquez et n'exécutez pas tous ces ordres que l'Éternel a donnés à Moïse,
23 everything that the Lord has ordered you to do through Moses from the time that the Lord gave them and for all future generations—
tout ce que l'Éternel vous a prescrit par l'organe de Moïse depuis le jour où Il vous donna des commandements et dès lors pour vos âges futurs,
24 and if it was done unintentionally without everyone knowing about it, then the whole congregation is to present a young bull as a burnt offering to be accepted by the Lord, along with its grain offering and drink offering presented according to the rules, as well as a male goat as a sin offering.
et si le fait a lieu à l'insu de l'Assemblée, par erreur, toute l'Assemblée offrira un jeune taureau en holocauste, en parfum agréable à l'Éternel, avec son offrande et sa libation selon le rite, et un bouc en sacrifice expiatoire.
25 In this way the priest is to make the whole congregation of Israel right with the Lord so that they can be forgiven, because the sin was unintentional and they have presented the Lord with an burnt offering and a sin offering, offered before the Lord for their unintentional sin.
Et le Prêtre fera la propitiation pour toute l'Assemblée des enfants d'Israël, et il leur sera pardonné; car c'était une erreur; mais eux-mêmes ils présenteront leur oblation en sacrifice igné à l'Éternel, et leur victime expiatoire devant l'Éternel pour leur erreur,
26 Then the whole congregation of Israel and the foreigners living among them will be forgiven, because the people sinned unintentionally.
et ainsi il sera pardonné à toute l'Assemblée des enfants d'Israël, et à l'étranger séjournant parmi eux, car la chose est arrivée à l'Assemblée par une erreur.
27 In the case of an individual who sins without meaning to—they are to present a year-old female goat as a sin offering.
Et si une personne seule pèche par erreur, elle offrira une chèvre d'un an comme victime expiatoire.
28 The priest will make the person who sinned unintentionally right before the Lord their behalf. Once they have been made right, they will be forgiven.
Et le Prêtre fera la propitiation pour la personne qui a manqué en péchant par erreur, devant l'Éternel, la propitiation se faisant pour elle, et il lui sera pardonné.
29 You shall apply the same law for the one who mistakenly sins to an Israelite or a foreigner living among you.
Pour l'indigène Israélite et pour l'étranger séjournant parmi vous, vous aurez une seule loi pour celui qui manque par erreur.
30 But the person who sins in defiance, whether an Israelite or foreigner, is blaspheming the Lord. They shall be expelled from their people.
Mais la personne qui aura agi haut la main, parmi les indigènes ou les étrangers, aura outragé l'Éternel, cette personne sera éliminée du milieu de son peuple,
31 They have to be expelled, because they have treated the word of the Lord with contempt and broken his commandment. They are responsible for the consequences of their own guilt.’”
car elle aura méprisé Sa parole et enfreint Ses commandements; cette personne sera éliminée: une iniquité pèse sur elle.
32 During the time the Israelites were wandering in the desert, a man was caught collecting firewood on the Sabbath.
Les enfants d'Israël, étant dans le désert, surprirent un homme qui ramassait du bois le jour du Sabbat.
33 The people who found him collecting wood brought him before Moses, Aaron, and the rest of the Israelites.
Et ceux qui l'avaient surpris ramassant du bois, l'amenèrent à Moïse et Aaron et à toute l'Assemblée.
34 They placed him under guard because it wasn't clear what should happen to him.
Et on le mit en prison, parce que ce qu'il y avait à lui faire n'était pas précisé.
35 The Lord told Moses, “This man has to be executed. All the Israelites are to stone him outside the camp.”
Alors l'Éternel dit à Moïse: Que cet homme soit mis à mort; toute l'Assemblée le lapidera hors du camp.
36 So they all took the man outside the camp and stoned him to death as the Lord had ordered Moses.
Alors toute l'Assemblée le mena hors du camp, et le lapida, et il mourut, ainsi que l'Éternel l'avait ordonné à Moïse.
37 Sometime later the Lord told Moses,
Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse en ces termes:
38 “Tell the Israelites that for all future generations you must make tassels for the hems of your clothes and attach them with blue cord.
Parle aux enfants d'Israël et leur dis de se faire des houppes aux angles de leurs manteaux dans tous leurs âges, et d'ajouter à la houppe de l'angle un cordon d'azur.
39 When you look at these tassels you will be reminded to keep all the commandments of the Lord and not be unfaithful, following your own thoughts and desires.
Et portez-les comme des houppes dont la vue vous rappelle tous les commandements de l'Éternel, afin que vous les pratiquiez, et ne soyez pas entraînés par votre cœur et par vos yeux dont vous suivez les désirs adultères,
40 In this way you'll remember to keep all my commandments and you will be holy to your God. I am the Lord your God who led you out of Egypt to be your God.
afin que vous vous rappeliez et que vous exécutiez tous mes ordres et que vous soyez Saints pour votre Dieu.
41 I am the Lord your God!”
Je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu, qui vous ai tirés du pays d'Egypte pour être votre Dieu: je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu.
