< Micah 3 >
1 Then I said, “Please listen, leaders of the descendants of Jacob, people of Israel. You are meant to know the difference between right and wrong,
Nígbà náà, ni mo wí pé, “Ẹ gbọ́, ẹ̀yin olórí Jakọbu, ẹ̀yin alákòóso ilé Israẹli. Ǹjẹ́ ẹ̀yin kò ha ni í gba òdodo bí.
2 you who hate good and love evil! You tear off their skin, and rip the flesh from their bones.
Ẹ̀yin tí ó kórìíra ìre, tí ẹ sì fẹ́ràn ibi; ẹ̀yin tí ẹ fa awọ ẹran-ara àwọn ènìyàn mi ya kúrò lára wọn àti ẹran-ara wọn kúrò ní egungun wọn;
3 You eat the flesh of my people, you strip off their skin, you break their bones. You chop them up like meat for the saucepan, like flesh for the cooking pot.”
àwọn tí ó jẹ ẹran-ara àwọn ènìyàn mi, wọn sì bọ́ awọ ara wọn kúrò lára wọn. Wọ́n sì fọ́ egungun wọn sí wẹ́wẹ́; wọn sì gé e sí wẹ́wẹ́ bí ẹran inú ìkòkò, bí ẹran inú agbada?”
4 Then they'll cry out to the Lord, but he won't answer them. He will turn away from them at that time because of the evil things they have done.
Nígbà náà ni wọn yóò kígbe sí Olúwa, ṣùgbọ́n òun kì yóò dá wọn lóhùn. Ní àkókò náà ni òun yóò fi ojú rẹ̀ pamọ́ kúrò lọ́dọ̀ wọn, nítorí ibi tí wọ́n ti ṣe.
5 This is what the Lord says about the prophets who deceive my people. To those who feed them they prophesy peace to them, while to those who do not they prophesy war against them.
Báyìí ni Olúwa wí, “Ní ti àwọn Wòlíì tí ń ṣi àwọn ènìyàn mi lọ́nà, tí ẹnìkan bá fún wọn ní oúnjẹ, wọn yóò kéde àlàáfíà; ṣùgbọ́n tí kò bá fi nǹkan sí wọn ní ẹnu, wọn yóò múra ogun sí i.
6 Therefore it will be like night for you, with no visions; dark, with no predictions. The sun will set on these prophets; their day will end in darkness.
Nítorí náà òru yóò wá sórí yín, tí ẹ̀yin kì yóò sì rí ìran kankan, òkùnkùn yóò sì kùn fún yín, tí ẹ̀yin kì yóò sì lè sọtẹ́lẹ̀. Oòrùn yóò sì wọ lórí àwọn wòlíì ọjọ́ yóò sì ṣókùnkùn lórí wọn.
7 The seers will be disgraced, the fortune-tellers put to shame, and they will cover their faces because none of them receive any answer from God.
Ojú yóò sì ti àwọn wòlíì àwọn alásọtẹ́lẹ̀ pẹ̀lú yóò sì gba ìtìjú. Gbogbo wọn ni yóò bo ojú wọn, nítorí kò sí ìdáhùn láti ọ̀dọ̀ Ọlọ́run.”
8 But as for me, I am filled with power, with the spirit of the Lord. I am filled with justice and strength to make clear to the descendants of Jacob their rebellion, and to the people of Israel their sin.
Ṣùgbọ́n ní tèmi, èmi kún fún agbára pẹ̀lú ẹ̀mí Olúwa, láti sọ ìré-òfin-kọjá Jakọbu fún un, àti láti sọ ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ Israẹli fún un.
9 Listen to me, leaders of the descendants of Jacob and the people of Israel, you who hate justice and distort all that is right.
Gbọ́ ẹ̀yin olórí ilé Jakọbu, àti ẹ̀yin alákòóso ilé Israẹli, tí ó kórìíra òdodo tí ó sì yí òtítọ́ padà;
10 You are building Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with evil.
tí ó kọ́ Sioni pẹ̀lú ìtàjẹ̀ sílẹ̀, àti Jerusalẹmu pẹ̀lú ìwà búburú.
11 Your leaders judge for a bribe, and your priests teach for a price, and your prophets only prophesy for pay. Yet they all lean on the Lord saying, “Isn't the Lord here with us? Nothing bad can happen to us!”
Àwọn olórí rẹ̀ ń ṣe ìdájọ́ nítorí àbẹ̀tẹ́lẹ̀, àwọn àlùfáà rẹ̀ sì ń kọ́ni nítorí owó ọ̀yà àwọn wòlíì rẹ̀ pẹ̀lú sì ń sọtẹ́lẹ̀ nítorí owó. Síbẹ̀, wọn gbẹ́kẹ̀lé Olúwa, wọ́n sì wí pé, “Nítòótọ́, Olúwa wà pẹ̀lú wa! Ibi kan kì yóò bá wa.”
12 Therefore because of you Zion will become a ploughed field and Jerusalem a heap of rubble, and the Temple mount will be overgrown.
Nítorí náà, nítorí tiyín, ni a ó ṣe ro Sioni bí oko, Jerusalẹmu yóò sì di ebè àti òkè tẹmpili bí i ibi gíga igbó.
