Mark 2
1 A few days later Jesus returned home to Capernaum, and news spread that he was there.
Și din nou a intrat în Capernaum după câteva zile; și s-a auzit că este în casă.
2 So many people crowded inside the house that it was packed, even outside the door, as Jesus told them the message.
Și îndată mulți s-au adunat, încât nu mai era loc să îi încapă, nici măcar în apropierea ușii; și le predica cuvântul.
3 Four men had brought a man who was paralyzed,
Și au venit la el, aducând un paralitic, purtat de patru oameni.
4 but they could not get near Jesus because of the crowds. So they went up on the roof and took it apart. After they had made an opening above Jesus, they lowered down the mat with the paralyzed man lying on it.
Și cum nu puteau să se apropie de el din cauza mulțimii, au descoperit acoperișul unde era; și după ce l-au spart, au coborât patul pe care zăcea paraliticul.
5 When Jesus saw the trust these men had, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”
Când Isus a văzut credința lor, i-a spus paraliticului: Fiule, păcatele tale îți sunt iertate.
6 Some of the religious teachers sitting there thought to themselves,
Dar erau unii din scribi, șezând acolo și cugetând în inimile lor,
7 “Why is he talking like this? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins? Only God can do that!”
De ce vorbește acesta astfel de blasfemii? Cine poate ierta păcatele, decât numai Dumnezeu?
8 Jesus knew right away what they were thinking. He said to them, “Why are you thinking like this?
Și Isus, cunoscând îndată în duhul său că ei cugetau așa în ei înșiși, le-a spus: De ce cugetați acestea în inimile voastre?
9 What's easier: to say to the paralyzed man, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or ‘Get up, pick up your mat, and walk’?
Ce este mai ușor a spune paraliticului: Păcatele tale îți sunt iertate, sau a spune: Ridică-te și ia-ți patul și umblă?
10 But to convince you that the Son of man has the right to forgive sins,
Dar ca să știți că Fiul omului are putere pe pământ să ierte păcatele, (i-a spus paraliticului),
11 I say to you (the paralyzed man), ‘Get up, pick up your mat, and go home.’”
Îți spun: Ridică-te și ia-ți patul și du-te acasă.
12 He stood up, picked up his mat, and walked out in front of everyone there. They were all amazed, and praised God, saying “We've never ever seen anything like this!”
Iar el îndată s-a ridicat și luând patul, a ieșit înaintea tuturor; astfel că toți erau uimiți și îl glorificau pe Dumnezeu, spunând: Nu am văzut niciodată așa ceva.
13 Jesus went out beside the sea once more and taught the crowds that came to him.
Și a ieșit din nou lângă mare; și toată mulțimea venea la el, iar el îi învăța.
14 As he walked along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax-collector's booth. “Follow me,” Jesus told him. Levi got up and followed Jesus.
Și pe când trecea pe acolo, l-a văzut pe Levi al lui Alfeu șezând la recepția vămii și i-a spus: Urmează-mă. Iar el s-a sculat și l-a urmat.
15 That evening Jesus ate dinner at Levi's house. Many tax collectors and “sinners” joined Jesus and his disciples for the meal, for there were many of these people that followed Jesus.
Și s-a întâmplat, pe când Isus ședea la masă în casa lui Levi, că mulți vameși și păcătoși ședeau și ei împreună cu Isus și discipolii lui; fiindcă erau mulți și îl urmau.
16 When the religious leaders of the Pharisees saw Jesus eating with such people, they asked Jesus' disciples, “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
Și când l-au văzut scribii și fariseii mâncând cu vameșii și păcătoșii, le-au spus discipolilor săi: Cum se face că mănâncă și bea cu vameșii și păcătoșii?
17 When Jesus heard this, he told them, “It's not healthy people who need a doctor, but those who are sick. I haven't come to invite those who live right, but those who don't—the sinners.”
Și Isus auzind le-a spus: Nu cei sănătoși au nevoie de doctor, ci bolnavii. Nu am venit să chem pe cei drepți, ci pe păcătoși la pocăință.
18 Now John's disciples and the Pharisees were fasting. Some of them came to Jesus, and asked him, “Why is it that John's disciples and the Pharisees fast, but your disciples don't?”
Și discipolii lui Ioan și ai fariseilor obișnuiau să postească; și au venit și i-au spus: De ce discipolii lui Ioan și ai fariseilor postesc, dar discipolii tăi nu postesc?
19 “Do wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them?” Jesus asked them. “No. While the bridegroom's with them, they can't fast.
Și Isus le-a spus: Pot însoțitorii mirelui să postească atât timp cât mirele este cu ei? Cât timp îl au pe mire cu ei, nu pot posti.
20 But the day is coming when the bridegroom will be taken from them, and then they'll fast.
Dar vor veni zilele când mirele va fi luat de la ei și atunci vor posti în acele zile.
21 No one puts a patch that's not shrunk on old clothes. Otherwise the new piece will shrink away from the old, and make the tear worse.
Și nimeni nu coase un petic de stofă nouă la o haină veche; altfel, bucata cea nouă care umple, ia din cea veche și ruptura se face mai rea.
22 No one puts new wine in old wineskins. Otherwise the wine will burst the wineskins, and both the wine and wineskins will be wasted. No. You put new wine in new wineskins.”
Și nimeni nu pune vin nou în burdufuri vechi; altfel, vinul nou sparge burdufurile și vinul este vărsat și burdufurile vor fi distruse; ci vinul nou trebuie pus în burdufuri noi.
23 One Sabbath day as Jesus was walking through the grain fields, his disciples started picking heads of grain as they walked along.
Și s-a întâmplat că mergea în sabat prin lanuri; și discipolii lui, făcându-și drum, au început să smulgă spicele.
24 The Pharisees asked Jesus, “Look, why are they doing what is not permitted on the Sabbath?”
Și fariseii i-au spus: Iată, de ce fac ei în sabat ce nu este legiuit?
25 “Haven't you ever read what David did when he and his men were hungry and in need?” Jesus asked them.
Și el le-a spus: Nu ați citit niciodată ce a făcut David, când a avut nevoie și a flămânzit, el și cei care erau cu el?
26 “He went into God's house when Abiathar was high priest, and ate the consecrated bread which no one except the priests are permitted to eat, and gave it to his men too.”
Cum a intrat în casa lui Dumnezeu, în zilele lui Abiatar, marele preot și a mâncat pâinile punerii înainte, care nu este legiuit a le mânca decât preoților și a dat și celor ce erau cu el?
27 “The Sabbath was made for your benefit, not for you to benefit the Sabbath,” he told them.
Și le-a spus: Sabatul a fost făcut pentru om și nu omul pentru sabat;
28 “So the Son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath.”
De aceea Fiul omului este Domn și al sabatului.
