< Mark 1 >
1 Here is the beginning of the good news about Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
Bunu ni bwambilo bhwe misango jo bhwana eja Yesu Kristo, omwana wa Nyamuanga.
2 Just as the prophet Isaiah wrote, “I'm sending my messenger ahead of you to prepare your way.
Lwa kutyo jandikilwe no mulagi Isaya, “Lola, enimutuma omukosi wani imbele yao, oumwi unu kajo okuchuma-chuma injila yao.
3 A voice is calling in the desert, ‘Prepare the Lord's way! Make his paths straight.’”
Obhulaka bhwo munu unu kabhilikila ibhala, “Ichumwe kisi injila ya Lata bhugenyi; Jigololwe kisi jinjila jae”.
4 John came, baptizing in the desert, announcing a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
Yohana ejile, nabhatija ibhala no kusimula obhubhatijo bhwo kuta no kwiswalililwa ebhikayo.
5 Everybody from the country of Judea and from Jerusalem went to him. They admitted their sins publicly and were baptized in the Jordan River.
Echalo chona echa Yudea na abhanu bhona abha Yerusalemu bhagendele ewae. Bhaliga nibhabhatija nage mu mugela gwa Yordani, nibhegamba ebhibhibhi bhyebhwe.
6 John wore clothes made of camel hair, with a leather belt around his waist. He ate locusts and wild honey.
Yohana aliga nafwala echifwalo bhwo bhufufi bhwa Ingamia na lifwata lyo lwai muchibhunu chae, na aliga nalya jinsige no bhuki bhwe mwila.
7 This is what he had to say: “After me someone is coming who is greater than I am. I'm not worthy to bend down and untie his sandals.
Asimuye no kwaika, “Alio umwi unu kajokuja inyuma yani unu ankilile kula amanaga anye, nitana chibhalo nolwo okwinama emwalo no kusulumula jingoye je bhilato byae.
8 I baptized you in water but he will baptize you in the Holy Spirit.”
Anye nabhabhatijishe mu maji, mbe nawe omwene kabhabhatija emwe mu Mwoyo Mwelu.”
9 Then Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan River.
Munaku ejo jabhonekene ati Yesu ejile okusoka Nazareti ya Galilaya, mbe nabhatijibhwa na Yohana mu mugela gwa Yordani.
10 As Jesus came out of the water, he saw the heavens split apart and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him.
Mu mwanya Yesu ejile enamuka okusoka mu maji, alolele olwile nilugabhanyika nabha abhwelu na Mwoyo namwikila namujako ali uti njibha.
11 A voice from heaven said, “You are my son, the one I love. I am very pleased with you.”
No bhulaka nibhusoka mu lwile, “Awe uli mwana wani omwendwa. Enikondelelwa muno nawe.”
12 Right after this the Spirit sent him away into the desert
Okumala ao nao Mwoyo namusinyilisha okuja ibhala.
13 where he was tempted by Satan for forty days. He was with the wild animals, and angels took care of him.
Abheeyo ibhala naku makumi gana, nasakwa na Shetani. Aliga ali na jityanyi je mwila jindulu, na Bhamalaika nibhamufulubhendela.
14 Later, after John was arrested, Jesus went to Galilee, announcing God's good news.
Oli ejile Yohana agwatibhwa, Yesu ejile Galilaya nalasha omusango gwo bhwana ogwa Nyamuanga,
15 “The time predicted has come,” he said. “God's kingdom has arrived! Repent and believe in the good news.”
Naika,”Omwanya gwakumila, no bhukama bhwa Nyamuanga bhwelila ayei. Mute no kwikilisha mu musango gwo bhwana.”
16 As he was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, Jesus saw Simon and his brother Andrew throwing a net into the water, for they made their living by fishing.
Anu aliga nalabha kunjejekela ya Galilaya, amulolele Simoni na Andrea owabho Simoni nibhatega emitego jebhwe mu nyanja, kwo kubha bhaliga bhategi.
17 “Come and follow me,” he told them, “and I will have you fishing for people.”
Yesu abhabhwiliye, “Muje, mundubhe, ne enibhakola kubha bhategi bha bhanu.”
18 They left their nets at once and followed him.
Ao nao nibhajisiga emitego nibhamulibha.
19 He went a little farther and saw James and his brother John, the sons of Zebedee. They were in a boat mending their nets.
Mu mwanya Yesu ejile alibhatao kula kutoto, amulolele Yakobho omwana wa Jebhedayo na Yohana omumula wabho; bhaliga mu bhwato nibhasobhola emitego.
20 Immediately he called them to follow him, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired workers, and followed Jesus.
Okwiya nabhabhilikila na bhene nibhamusiga esemwene webhwe Jebhedayo mu bhwato na bhakosi bhanu bhaliga bhaliga bho kuliywa, nibhamulubha.
21 They left for Capernaum, and on Sabbath Jesus went into the synagogue and taught there.
Mbe bhejile bhakinga Kaperinaumu, mu lunaku olwa isabhato, Yesu engie mulikofyanyisho no kwiigisha.
22 The people were amazed at his teaching, for he spoke with authority, unlike the religious teachers.
Eliigisho lyae lyabhatang'ang'anyishe, lwa kutyo aliga nabheigisha lwo munu unu ali no bhutulo na atali lwa abhandiki.
23 Suddenly, right there in the synagogue, a man with an evil spirit started shouting out,
Mu mwanya ogwo ogwo aliga alio omunu mulikofyanyisho lyebhwe unu aliga no musambhwa mujabhi, aliga nakunga,
24 “Jesus of Nazareth, why are you bothering us? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are! You're God's Holy One!”
naika, “Chili na chinuki echokukola nawe, Yesu owa Nanjareti? Wijile okuchisimagisha? Enikumenya awe nawega. Awe nu Mulengelesi enyele owa Nyamuanga!”
25 Jesus interrupted the evil spirit, telling him, “Be quiet! Come out of him.”
Yesu naligonya lisambwa elyo no kwaika, “Jibila na umusokemo!”
26 The evil spirit screamed, threw the man into convulsions, and came out of him.
Mbe lisambwa lijabhi elyo nilimugwisha ansi mu mwanya ogwo namusokako nalila kwo bhulaka bhwa ingulu.
27 Everyone was amazed at what happened. “What is this?” they asked each other. “What is this new teaching that has such authority? Even evil spirits do what he tells them!”
Mbe abhanu bhone nibhatang'ang'ala, kwibhyo nibhabhushanya bhuli umwi, “Chinu Niki? Eliigisho eyaya elyo bhutulo? Kalagilila amasambwa amajabhi ona agamuyana echibhalo!”
28 News about him spread quickly throughout the whole region of Galilee.
Emisango jo kulubhana no mwene nijitalala bhuli ebhala mu musi gwona ogwa Galilaya.
29 Then they left the synagogue and went to the home of Simon and Andrew, along with James and John.
Na bhwangu wejile auluka mulikofyanyisho, bhengie mu nyumba ya Simoni na Andrea bhali Yakobho na Yohana.
30 Simon's mother-in-law was sick in bed with a fever, so they told Jesus about her.
Mbe woli nyabhuko Simoni aliga amamile ali mulwae wo muswija, bhwangu nibhamubhwila Yesu emisango jae.
31 He went to her, took her by the hand, and helped her up. The fever immediately left her. Then she made them a meal.
Kwibhyo ejile, amugwatile no kubhoko, no kumwinamusha ingulu; Omuswija nigumusokako na namba okubhafulubhendela.
32 After sunset that evening, those who were sick and demon-possessed were brought to Jesus.
Kegolo eyo omwanya gwa lisubha lyalagae, bhamuletee ewae bhona bhanu bhaliga bhalwae, amwi na bhanu bhaliga bhaungilwe amasambwa.
33 The whole of the town gathered outside.
Omusi gwona bhekofyanyishe amwi mu mulyango.
34 He healed many people who had various diseases, and threw out many demons. He did not permit the demons to speak, for they knew who he was.
Abheulisishe bhwafu bhanu bhaliga bhalwae abha malwala ga bhuli mbaga no kusoshako amasambwa mafu, nawe atekilisishe amasambwa okwaika ku nsonga bhamumenyele.
35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up and went alone to a quiet place to pray.
Emukile katondo mumachelelesha, chichali chisute; asokeleo no kuja ebhala lyo bhiibhise no kusabhwa eyo.
36 Simon and the others went to search for him.
Simoni na bhona bhanu bhaliga bhali amwi nage nibhamulubha.
37 When they found him, they told him, “Everybody's looking for you.”
Nibhamubhona mbe nibamubhwila, “Bhuli umwi kakuiga”.
38 But Jesus replied, “We have to go to the other towns around here so that I can tell them the good news as well—for that's why I came.”
Abhabhwiliye, “Chigende ebhala lindi, anja mu misi jinu jiindile, koleleki eyo one nitule okusimula. Niyo insonga nijile anu.”
39 So he went all over Galilee, speaking in the synagogues and expelling demons.
Agendelee nalabha mu Galilaya Yona, nasimula mu mekofyanyisho gebhwe no kugonya amasambwa.
40 A leper came to him asking for help. The man kneeled down before Jesus, saying, “Please, if you're willing, you can heal me!”
Omugege umwi namujako ku mwene. aliga namwilembeleja; Nafukama no kumubhwila, “Alabha owenda, outula okukola nibhe muanga.”
41 With compassion Jesus reached out and touched the man, and said, “I am willing. Be healed!”
Nasindikwa ne chigogo, Yesu nagolola okubhoko kwae no kumukunyako,”Namubhwila, “Enenda. ubhe muanga.”
42 The leprosy left him immediately, and he was healed.
Ao nao ebhigege nibhimusokako, na eulisibhwe nabha muanga.
43 Jesus sent him away with a strong warning.
Yesu namukomelesha muno namubhwila agende bwangu,
44 “Make sure you don't tell anybody anything about this,” he told him. “Go to the priest and show yourself to him. Give the offering which is required by the law of Moses for such cleansing, so that people will have proof.”
Amubhwilie, “komelesha ati utakutula kwaika musango ku wona wona, mbe nawe genda, uje okwiyelesha ku mugabhisi, na usoshe echogo kulwo kwela ku bhinu Musa alagilie, kuti bhubhambasi ku bhene.”
45 But the healed leper went out and told everyone what had happened. As a result Jesus could not openly go into the cities anymore, but had to stay out in the country where people came to him from everywhere around.
Mbe nawe agendele no kwamba okumubhwila Bhuli umwi no kulasha muno omusango nolwo Yesu atatulile lindi okwingila mu musi gwo abhwelu bhwelu. Kwibyo enyanjile enyelela na bhanu nibhamujako ku mwene okusoka bhuli ebhala.
