< Malachi 4 >
1 Watch out! The day is coming—it burns like an oven—when the proud and the wicked will be burned like straw. When that day comes they will be completely burned up, root and branch, says the Lord Almighty.
“Ampa ara, da no reba; ɛbɛdɛw te sɛ fononoo. Ahomasofo ne nnebɔneyɛfo nyinaa bɛyɛ nwura gunnwan, na saa da a ɛreba no wɔde ogya bɛto mu,” sɛnea Asafo Awurade se ni. “Ɛrenka ntin anaa dubaa mma wɔn.
2 But for those who have reverence for me, the sun of God's salvation will rise with healing in its wings, and you will be set free, leaping like calves released from their stalls.
Nanso mo a mode nidi ma me din no, trenee owia bepue ama mo, na ɛde ayaresa bɛba. Na mubepue na moahuruhuruw te sɛ nantwimma a wɔabue wɔn afi wɔn buw mu.
3 You will trample the wicked as ashes under your feet on the day when I take action, says the Lord Almighty.
Na mubetiatia atirimɔdenfo so; wɔbɛyɛ nsõ wɔ mo anan ase, da a mɛyɛ saa nneɛma yi,” sɛnea Asafo Awurade se ni.
4 Remember the law of Moses my servant that I commanded him and all Israel to follow—all the instructions and ceremonies I gave on Mount Sinai.
“Monkae mʼakoa Mose mmara, ahyɛde ne mmara a mede maa no wɔ Horeb so se ɔmfa mma Israelfo nyinaa.
5 Look! I am going to send Elijah the prophet before the day of the Lord arrives, the great and terrifying day.
“Mɛsoma Odiyifo Elia aba mo nkyɛn, ansa na Awurade da kɛse a ɛyɛ hu no aba.
6 He will restore harmony between parents and children, and if that does not happen, I will come and strike the land with a curse.
Ɔbɛdan agyanom koma akɔ wɔn mma so na wadan mma nso koma akɔ agyanom so, anyɛ saa a mede nnome bɛba abɛsɛe asase no.”
