8 Jesus sent Peter and John, telling them, “Go and prepare the Passover meal, so we can eat it together.”
Yesu atindaki Petelo mpe Yoane; alobaki na bango: — Bokende kobongisela biso bilei ya Pasika.
9 They asked him, “Where do you want us to prepare for it?”
Batunaki Ye: — Esika nini olingi ete tobongisa yango?
10 He replied, “When you enter the city you'll meet a man carrying a jar of water. Follow him and go into the house he enters.
11 Tell the owner of the house that the Teacher asks you, ‘Where is the dining room where I can eat the Passover with my disciples?’
12 He'll show you a large upstairs room that already has the necessary furniture. Prepare the meal there.”
13 They went and found that everything was just as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover meal there.
Bakendeki, bakutaki makambo nyonso ndenge kaka Yesu ayebisaki bango mpe babongisaki bilei ya Pasika.
14 When the time came, he sat down at the table with his apostles. He told them,
Tango ngonga ekokaki, Yesu avandaki na mesa elongo na bantoma.
15 “I've been really looking forward to eating this Passover meal with you before my sufferings begin.
16 I tell you I shall not eat it again until the time is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”
17 Jesus took the cup, and after he had given thanks, he said, “Take this and share it among yourselves.
Sima na Ye kozwa kopo, azongisaki matondi epai ya Nzambe mpe alobaki: — Bokamata kopo oyo mpe bokabola yango kati na bino,
18 I tell you that I won't drink again of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”
19 He picked up some bread, and after he had given thanks, he broke it into pieces and gave it to them. “This is my body which is given for you; do this in order to remember me,” Jesus told them.
Bongo, azwaki lipa mpe, sima na Ye kozongisa matondi epai ya Nzambe, akataki yango mpe apesaki bango yango; alobaki: — Oyo ezali nzoto na Ngai, epesami mpo na bino! Bosalaka boye mpo na kokanisa Ngai.
20 In the same way after they had finished supper, he picked up the cup and said, “This cup is the new agreement in my blood which is poured out for you.”
21 “In spite of this, my betrayer is sitting right here with me at the table.
Nzokande, moto oyo azali koteka Ngai azali awa, azali kolia mesa moko elongo na Ngai.
22 For it has been determined that the Son of man will die, yet how disastrous it will be for his betrayer!”
Solo, Mwana na Moto akokende, kolanda ndenge Nzambe akata; kasi mawa na moto oyo azali koteka Ye.
23 They began to argue among themselves as to who this might be and who could do this.
Bongo bantoma bakomaki kotunana bango na bango mpo na koluka koyeba soki nani kati na bango akosala likambo yango.
24 At the same time they also got into a quarrel about which of them was the most important.
Tembe moko ebimaki kati na bayekoli mpo na koyeba soki nani kati na bango aleki monene.
25 Jesus told them, “Foreign kings lord it over their subjects, and those having power even want people to call them ‘benefactors.’
26 But it should not be so with you! Whoever is highest among you should be like the lowest, and the leader should be like a servant.
27 Who is greater—the one who sits at the table, or the one who serves? Isn't it the one who sits at the table? But I'm among you as the one who serves.
Pamba te nani aleki monene? Ye oyo avandi na mesa to ye oyo azali kotia bilei na mesa? Ezali te oyo avandi na mesa? Kasi Ngai nazali kati na bino lokola moto oyo azali kotia bilei na mesa.
28 You have stayed with me throughout my trials.
29 And I grant to you authority to rule, just as my Father granted it to me,
Mpe lokola Tata na Ngai apesaki Ngai bokonzi, Ngai mpe nazali kopesa bino bokonzi,
30 so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”

Simona, Simona, Satana asengi koyungola bino ndenge bayungolaka ble.
32 but I have prayed for you that your trust in me may not fail. And when you have returned, encourage your brothers.”

33 Peter said, “Lord, I'm ready to go with you to prison, and to die with you!”
Kasi Petelo azongisaki: — Nkolo, nandimi kokota boloko to kokufa elongo na Yo.
34 Jesus replied, “I'm telling you, Peter, before the cock crows today, you will deny three times that you know me.”
Yesu alobaki na ye: — Petelo, nazali koloba na yo: lelo, liboso ete soso elela, okowangana mbala misato ete oyebi Ngai te.
35 Jesus asked them, “When I sent you out without money, without a bag, and without an extra pair of sandals, did you lack anything?” “No, nothing,” they replied.
Bongo Yesu atunaki bango: — Tango natindaki bino maboko pamba, mbongo te, sakosi te, basandale te; boni, bozangaki eloko? Bazongisaki: — Tozangaki eloko te.
36 “But now, if you have money you should take it, as well as a bag, and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.
Alobaki na bango: — Kasi, sik’oyo, tika ete moto oyo azali na mbongo azwa yango, oyo azali na sakosi azwa yango, oyo azangi mopanga ateka elamba na ye mpo na kosomba yango!
37 I tell you that this statement in Scripture about me must be fulfilled: ‘He was counted with the wicked.’ What was said about me is now being fulfilled.”
Ekomama: « Batangaki Ye elongo na babomi bato; » mpe nazali koloba na bino: makambo yango esengeli kokokisama kati na Ngai.
38 “Look, Lord, here are two swords,” they said. “That's enough,” he replied.
Bayekoli balobaki: — Nkolo, tala mipanga mibale. Yesu azongisaki: — Ekoki!
39 Jesus left and as usual went to the Mount of Olives together with his disciples.
40 When he arrived he said to them, “Pray that you don't give in to temptation.”
41 Then he left them and walked about a stone's throw away, where he kneeled down and prayed.
Akendeki mwa mosika na bango, afukamaki mpe asambelaki boye:
42 “Father,” he prayed, “if you're willing, please take away this cup of suffering from me. But I want to do what you want, not what I want.”
« Tata, soki olingi, longola kopo oyo ya pasi liboso na Ngai! Nzokande, kosala te kolanda mokano na Ngai, kasi sala kolanda mokano na Yo. » [
43 Then an angel appeared from heaven to strengthen him.
Anjelu moko awutaki na Likolo, abimelaki Ye mpe alendisaki Ye.
44 In great distress Jesus prayed even harder, and his sweat fell like drops of blood onto the ground.
Lokola azalaki koyoka somo makasi, asambelaki lisusu makasi koleka, kino motoki na Ye ekomaki lokola matanga ya makila oyo ekomaki kokweya na mabele.]
45 He finished praying, stood up, and went over to the disciples. He found them asleep, worn out by grief.
Tango asilisaki kosambela, atelemaki, akendeki epai bayekoli na Ye bazalaki mpe akutaki bango balala pongi, mpo ete batondaki na mawa.
46 “Why are you sleeping?” he asked them. “Get up and pray so that you won't fall into temptation.”
47 While he was still speaking, a crowd appeared led by Judas, one of the twelve disciples. Judas went up to Jesus to kiss him.
48 But Jesus asked him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of man with a kiss?”
49 Jesus' followers asked him, “Lord, should we attack them with our swords?”
50 And one of them struck the high priest's servant, cutting off his right ear.
51 “Stop! No more of this!” said Jesus. He touched the man's ear and healed him.
Kasi Yesu alobaki: — Boye lisusu te! Yesu asimbaki litoyi ya mobali yango mpe abikisaki ye.
52 Then Jesus spoke to the chief priests, and the officers of the Temple guard, and the elders. “Am I some kind of criminal that you had to come with swords and clubs?” he asked.
53 “You didn't arrest me before, even though I was with you in the Temple every day. But this is your moment now, the time when darkness is in power.”
54 They arrested him and led him away, taking him to the chief priest's house. Peter followed at a distance.
55 They started a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down by it. Peter was there among them.
56 As he sat there, a servant girl noticed him in the firelight, and stared directly at him and said,
Mwasi mosali moko amonaki Petelo avandi wana pembeni ya moto. Sima na ye kotala Petelo malamu, alobaki: — Tata oyo azalaki elongo na Yesu!
57 “This man was with him.” But Peter denied it. “Woman, I don't know him!” he said.
Kasi Petelo awanganaki mpe alobaki: — Mwasi, nayebi ye te.
58 A little later someone else looked at him and said, “You're also one of them.” “No, I'm not!” Peter replied.
59 About an hour later, another person insisted, “I'm sure he was with him too—he's a Galilean.”
60 “I've no idea what you're talking about!” Peter replied. Right then, while he was still speaking, the cock crowed. The Lord turned and looked at Peter.
Kasi Petelo azongisaki: — Nayebi te makambo oyo ozali kolobela! Wana azalaki nanu koloba, soso elelaki.
61 And Peter remembered what the Lord had said, how he'd told him: “Before the cock crows today, you'll deny me three times.”
Nkolo abalukaki mpe atalaki Petelo; mpe Petelo akanisaki maloba oyo Nkolo alobaki na ye: « Liboso ete soso elela, okowangana Ngai mbala misato. »
62 Peter went out and wept bitterly.
Abimaki mpe alelaki makasi na libanda.
63 The men guarding Jesus began to mock him and beat him.
Bato oyo bazalaki kokengela Yesu babandaki koseka mpe kobeta Ye.
64 They put a blindfold on him, and then asked him, “If you can prophesy, tell us who hit you that time!”
Bazipaki Ye elongi mpe basengaki na makasi: — Sakola: Nani abeti Yo?
65 and shouted many other insults at him.
Mpe balobaki na Ye maloba mabe ebele mpo na kofinga Ye.
66 Early in the morning the council of elders gathered together with the chief priests and religious teachers. Jesus was led before the council.
67 “If you really are the Messiah, then tell us,” they said. “Even if I were to tell you, you wouldn't believe me,” Jesus replied.
Balobaki: — Soki ozali Klisto, yebisa biso. Yesu azongisaki: — Ata nayebisi bino, bokondima na bino kaka Ngai te;
68 “And if I were to ask you a question, you wouldn't answer.
69 But from now on the Son of man will sit at the right hand of the mighty God.”
70 They all asked, “So are you the son of God?” “You say that I am,” Jesus replied.
Bango nyonso batunaki: — Ozali Mwana na Nzambe? Yesu azongisaki: — Bino nde bolobi ete nazali Mwana na Nzambe.
71 “Why do we need any more witnesses?” they said. “We've heard it ourselves from his own mouth!”
Bongo balobaki: — Mpo na nini koluka matatoli mosusu? Toyoki yango na monoko na ye moko.
