Nabhabhwila ati,”Abhakama bha bhanu bha maanga abhatungwa na bhanu bhali no bhuinga ingulu yebhwe, abhatungwa na bhalende na bhatungi.
26 But it should not be so with you! Whoever is highest among you should be like the lowest, and the leader should be like a servant.
Nawe kwemwe jiteile kubha kutyo. Mbe, unu kenda obhukulu mwimwe abhe lwo mutoto. Na unu katangasha abhe lwa unu kafulubhendela abhejabho.
27 Who is greater—the one who sits at the table, or the one who serves? Isn't it the one who sits at the table? But I'm among you as the one who serves.
Kulwejo omukulu niga unu enyanjile kumeja tele unu kafulubhenda? Angu atali unu enyanjile kumeja? Nawe anye nili agati yemwe lwa unu kafulubhenda.

29 And I grant to you authority to rule, just as my Father granted it to me,
Enibhayana emwe obhukama, lwa kutyo Lata ananile anye obhukama,

33 Peter said, “Lord, I'm ready to go with you to prison, and to die with you!”
Petero namubhwila ati, “Lata Bhugenyi, nimaliliye okuja nawe mwibhoelo nolo kufwa ona.”
34 Jesus replied, “I'm telling you, Peter, before the cock crows today, you will deny three times that you know me.”
Yesu nasubhya naikati,”Enikubhwila Petelo, inkokolomi ichali kukokolima ounyigana kwiya kasatu ati utakumenya.”
35 Jesus asked them, “When I sent you out without money, without a bag, and without an extra pair of sandals, did you lack anything?” “No, nothing,” they replied.
Yesu nabhabhwila ati, “Anu nabhatumile mutali na yela amwi chikapo che bhilyo amwi bhikwilya mwalebhelwe chinu chona chona?” Nibhamusubhyati ati, “uli.”
36 “But now, if you have money you should take it, as well as a bag, and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.
Mbe nabhabhwila ati, “Woli anu unu ali na jiela agege, owechikakapo che bhilyo nagege. Na unu atali na chigwato nagushe echifwalo chaye agule echigwato chimwi.
37 I tell you that this statement in Scripture about me must be fulfilled: ‘He was counted with the wicked.’ What was said about me is now being fulfilled.”
Okubha enibhabhwila ati, gona ganu gandikilwe ingulu Yani ni bhusibhusi gakumile, Na agegibhwe lwo munu unu ali munyamusi we bhilagilo.'Kubha jinu jilagilwe ingulu yani echikumila.”

41 Then he left them and walked about a stone's throw away, where he kneeled down and prayed.
Omwene nagenda katafio lwa wokulasa libhui, nafukama nasabhwa.
42 “Father,” he prayed, “if you're willing, please take away this cup of suffering from me. But I want to do what you want, not what I want.”

43 Then an angel appeared from heaven to strengthen him.
Mbe malaika nasoka mulwile namusolomokela, namutamo amanaga.
44 In great distress Jesus prayed even harder, and his sweat fell like drops of blood onto the ground.
Omwene aliga ali no bhutaka bhamfu neyongesha okusabhwa, amoyilo gae nigabha lwa maguma ga manyinga nigatonyela ansi.
45 He finished praying, stood up, and went over to the disciples. He found them asleep, worn out by grief.
Ejile akemuka anu amalile okusabhwa, naja kubheigisibhwa bhae, nasanga bhaongee kulwobhusulumbae.
46 “Why are you sleeping?” he asked them. “Get up and pray so that you won't fall into temptation.”
Nabhabhusha ati,”Kubhaki muongee? Mwimuke Musabhwe, mutaja kwingila mumalegejo.”
47 While he was still speaking, a crowd appeared led by Judas, one of the twelve disciples. Judas went up to Jesus to kiss him.
Anu aliga achaika, mbe bhanu bhamfu nibhaja, na Yuda niwe umwi wa jintumwa ekumi ne bhili nabhatangatila. Nafugela ku Yesu okumunyunya,

Nawe Yesu namubhwila ati,”Yuda oulomela iniku Omwana waAdamu kwo okumunyunya?”
49 Jesus' followers asked him, “Lord, should we attack them with our swords?”
Na bhanu bhaliga bhali yeyi na Yesu bhejile bhalola jinu ejenda okubhao nibhaikati, “Latabhugenyi, chibhasane na mapanga?”

52 Then Jesus spoke to the chief priests, and the officers of the Temple guard, and the elders. “Am I some kind of criminal that you had to come with swords and clubs?” he asked.
Yesu nabhabhusha omugabhisi omukulu, na bhakulu bha muyekalu, na bhakaluka bhanu bhaliga bhatamuliko,”Mwanyijila kutyo omuja okulwana na musakusina mapanga na masimbo?
53 “You didn't arrest me before, even though I was with you in the Temple every day. But this is your moment now, the time when darkness is in power.”

60 “I've no idea what you're talking about!” Peter replied. Right then, while he was still speaking, the cock crowed. The Lord turned and looked at Peter.
Nawe Petelo naikati,”Mulume, nitakumenya chinu owaika.”Awo nawo, achaloma ingo'kolome nikokolima.
61 And Peter remembered what the Lord had said, how he'd told him: “Before the cock crows today, you'll deny me three times.”

Nibhamugwata ameso, nibhamubhuma nibhaikati,”Yaika niga unu akubhuma?”.
65 and shouted many other insults at him.
Nibhaikati misango myamfu ejokumufuma no kumujimya omwene.
