Luke 19
1 Jesus entered Jericho and walked through the town.
၁ယေရှုသည် ယေရိခေါ မြို့သို့ ဝင် ၍ ရှောက်သွား တော်မူ၏။
2 A man was there named Zacchaeus, a chief tax collector. He was very rich.
၂ထိုအခါ ဇက္ခဲ အမည် ရှိ သော အခွန် ခေါင်းတစ်ယောက်ရှိ ၏။ ထိုသူ သည် ငွေရတတ် သောသူ ဖြစ် ၏။
3 He wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short he couldn't see over the crowd.
၃ယေရှု သည် အဘယ်သို့ သောသူဖြစ် သည်ကို ထိုသူ သည် ကြည့် လို၍ ၊ လူအစုအဝေးများ သောကြောင့် ၊ မိမိ အရပ် လည်း နိမ့် သည်ဖြစ် ၍ မ မြင် နိုင် ။
4 So he ran ahead, and climbed up a sycamore tree to see Jesus as he passed by.
၄ထို့ကြောင့် ကြွ တော်မူမည့်လမ်းတွင် ရှေ့ သို့ ပြေး ၍ ကိုယ်တော် ကို မြင် အံ့သောငှာ သဖန်းပင် တပင်ကို တက် လေ၏။
5 When Jesus got there, he looked up and said, “Zacchaeus, come down quickly! I need to stay at your house today.”
၅ထိုအရပ် သို့ ယေရှု သည် ရောက် တော်မူသောအခါ မျှော်ကြည့် ၍ ထိုသူ ကို မြင်တော်မူလျှင်၊
6 Zacchaeus climbed down quickly and was so happy to welcome Jesus to his home.
၆ဇက္ခဲ ၊ မြန်မြန် ဆင်း လော့။ သင် ၏အိမ် ၌ ယနေ့ ငါ တည်း နေမည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။ ဇက္ခဲသည် အလျင်အမြန် ဆင်း ၍ ဝမ်းမြောက် သောစိတ်နှင့် ကိုယ်တော် ကို မိမိအိမ်၌ ဧည့်ခံ လေ၏။
7 When the people saw this they all complained, “He's gone to stay with such a sinner!”
၇ထိုအကြောင်း ကိုလူအပေါင်း တို့သည်မြင် လျှင် ၊ ဆိုး သောလူ ၏ အိမ်သို့ဝင် ၍ လုပ်ကျွေးခြင်းကို ခံ တော်မူပါသည်တကားဟု ကဲ့ရဲ့အပြစ်တင် ကြ၏။
8 But Zacchaeus stood up and said before the Lord, “Look, I'm giving half of everything I own to the poor, and if I've cheated anybody, I'll pay them back four times as much!”
၈ဇက္ခဲ သည်လည်းရပ် နေ၍ ၊ သခင် ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ၏ ဥစ္စာ တစ်ဝက် ကို ဆင်းရဲ သောသူ တို့အား ပေး ပါ၏။ တစ်စုံတစ်ယောက် သောသူ၏ဥစ္စာအနည်းငယ် ကို အကျွန်ုပ်ယူ မိလျှင် ၊ လေး ဆပြန် ၍ ပေးပါ၏ဟု သခင် ဘုရားကို လျှောက်ဆို ၏။
9 In response Jesus said, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man has shown he is a son of Abraham too.
၉ယေရှု ကလည်း ၊ ဤသူ သည် အာဗြဟံ ၏သား ဖြစ် သည်နှင့် အလျောက်၊ ယနေ့ ပင် ကယ်တင် တော်မူခြင်း ကျေးဇူးသည် ဤ အိမ် အပေါ်မှာသက်ရောက် လေ၏။
10 For the Son of man came to search for and save those who are lost.”
၁၀လူ သား သည် ပျောက် သောသူ တို့ကိုရှာ ၍ ကယ်တင် အံ့သောငှာကြွလာ သတည်း ဟု ဇက္ခဲ ကို မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
11 While they were still paying attention, Jesus told them a story for they were close to Jerusalem and the people thought that God's kingdom was going to become a reality right away.
၁၁ထိုအခါယေရုရှလင် မြို့အနီး သို့ ရောက် တော်မူ၍၊ ဘုရားသခင် ၏နိုင်ငံ တော်သည် ချက်ခြင်း ပေါ်ထွန်း မည်ဟု လူများထင်မှတ် သောကြောင့် ၊ ပရိသတ် အလယ် ၌ မိန့် တော်မူသော ဥပမာ ကား ၊
12 “Once there was a nobleman who left home to go to a distant country to be crowned king there, and then to return.
၁၂အမတ် တစ် ယောက်သည် မင်းကြီး အရာကို ခံ လို၍ မိမိ ပြည် သို့ ပြန်လာ မည်ဟု အကြံရှိလျက် ဝေး သော ပြည် သို့ သွား ၏။
13 He called ten of his servants, divided money equally among them, and told them, ‘Invest this money until I return.’
၁၃မသွားမှီ မိမိ ငယ်သား တစ်ကျိပ် ကိုခေါ် ၍၊ ငွေတစ် ပိဿာ စီအပ်ပေး လျက် ငါပြန် ၍ မ လာမှီတိုင်အောင်ကုန်သွယ်ခြင်းအမှုကိုပြုကြလော့ဟု မှာထား လေ၏။
14 But his people hated him, and sent a delegation after him to say, ‘We won't have this man as king over us.’
၁၄ပြည်သား အချို့သည် ထိုအမတ် ကို မနာလို ၍ ၊ ထိုသူ ၏ အအုပ်အချုပ် ကို ငါ တို့မ ခံလို ပါဟု တမန် ကို သူ့ နောက် သို့ စေလွှတ် ကြ၏။
15 After he had been crowned king he returned. He ordered his servants brought to him. He wanted to know what profit they had made by investing the money he had given them.
၁၅ထိုအမတ် သည် မင်းကြီး အရာ ကိုခံ ၍ ပြန်လာ တော်မူသောအခါ၊ ငွေ ခံ သော ငယ်သား တို့သည် အသီးအသီးအဘယ်မျှလောက်အမြတ်ရ သည်ကို သိ ခြင်းငှာ သူ တို့ကိုခေါ် ချေဟု အမိန့် တော်ရှိ၏။
16 The first servant came in and said, ‘Lord, your money has earned ten times as much.’
၁၆ပဌမ သူ သည် လာ ၍ ၊ သခင် ၊ ကိုယ်တော် ပေးသော ငွေတပိဿာ အားဖြင့်အခွက် တဆယ် အမြတ်ရ ပါ ပြီဟု လျှောက် လျှင်၊
17 ‘Well done! You're a good servant,’ said the king. ‘Since you proved yourself trustworthy in a very small matter, I'm placing you in charge of ten cities.’
၁၇သခင်က၊ သာဓု ၊ ငယ်သား ကောင်း ၊ သင်သည် အမှုငယ် ၌ သစ္စာစောင့် လေပြီ။ မြို့ ဆယ် မြို့ကို အုပ်စိုး လော့ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
18 The second servant came in and said, ‘Lord, your money has earned five times as much.’
၁၈ဒုတိယ သူ သည် လာ ၍ ၊ သခင် ၊ ကိုယ်တော် ပေးသော ငွေတပိဿာ အားဖြင့် ငါး ပိဿာ အမြတ်ရပါပြီဟု လျှောက် လျှင်၊
19 ‘I'm placing you in charge of five cities,’ said the king.
၁၉သခင်က၊ သင် သည် မြို့ ငါး မြို့ကို အုပ်စိုး လော့ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
20 Another servant came in and said, ‘Lord, look, here's your money back. I kept it safe, wrapped up in a cloth.
၂၀အခြား သောသူ သည်လာ ၍ ၊ သခင် ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ပဝါ ၌ ထုပ် ထားသော ကိုယ်တော် ၏ ငွေတပိဿာ ရှိ ပါ၏။ ကိုယ်တော် သည် ခဲယဉ်း သောသူ ဖြစ် သည်နှင့်၊
21 I was afraid of you because you're a hard man. You take what doesn't belong to you, and you harvest what you didn't plant.’
၂၁ကိုယ်မ သို မထားသော ဥစ္စာကိုသိမ်းယူ ၍ ၊ ကိုယ်မ စိုက် မပျိုးသော လယ်၌ရိတ် တတ်သည်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်ထောက် ၍ ကိုယ်တော်ကို ကြောက် ပါသည်ဟု လျှောက် လျှင်၊
22 ‘I'll judge you by your own words,’ the king replied. ‘You know I'm a hard man, who as you say, takes what doesn't belong to me, and I harvest what I didn't plant.
၂၂သခင်က၊ ဆိုးညစ် သောငယ်သား ၊ သင် ၏ စကား ကိုသာလိုက်၍ သင် ၏အမှုကို ငါစီရင် မည်။ ငါ သည် ခဲယဉ်း သောသူ ဖြစ် လျက် ကိုယ်မ သိုမထားသော ဥစ္စာကို သိမ်းယူ ၍၊ ကိုယ်မ စိုက်ပျိုး သော လယ်၌ရိတ် သည်ကို သင် သိ သည်မှန်လျှင်၊
23 Why then didn't you deposit my money in the bank, so that when I returned I could have had my money with interest?’
၂၃ငါ့ ငွေ ကိုပွဲစား လက်သို့ အဘယ်ကြောင့် မ အပ် သနည်း။ ထိုသို့အပ်လျှင် ငါ ပြန်လာ သောအခါ ငွေရင်း နှင့် အဘိုးကို ရ နိုင်သည်ဟု မိန့် တော်မူပြီး သော်၊
24 The king told those who were standing beside him, ‘Take the money away from him, and give it to the one who made ten times as much.’
၂၄အခြွေအရံတို့အား၊ ငွေတပိဿာ ကို သူ့ လက်မှ နှုတ် ကြ။ အခွက် တဆယ် ရှိ သောသူ အားပေး ကြဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
25 ‘But master, he already has ten times as much,’ they replied.
၂၅အခြွေအရံတို့ကလည်း၊ သခင် ၊ ထိုသူ ၌ အခွက် တဆယ် ရှိ ပါ၏ဟု လျှောက် ကြလျှင် ၊
26 The king said, ‘I tell you, to those who have, more will be given; but those who do not have, even what they have will be taken away from them.
၂၆ငါ ဆိုသည်ကား ၊ အကြင်သူသည်ရတတ်၏။ ထိုသူအား ပေး ဦးမည်။ အကြင်သူသည် ဆင်းရဲ ၏။ ထိုသူ၌ ရှိ သမျှကိုပင် နှုတ် လိမ့်မည်။
27 And as for my enemies who didn't want me to be king over them, bring them here and kill them in front of me.’”
၂၇ထိုမှတပါး ငါ ၏အအုပ်အချုပ် ကို မ ခံလို သော ငါ့ ရန်သူ တို့ကို ခေါ် ခဲ့ကြ။ ငါ့ ရှေ့ မှာ သတ် ကြဟု စီရင် တော်မူသည် ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
28 After he'd finished telling them this story, Jesus left for Jerusalem, walking on ahead.
၂၈ထိုသို့ မိန့် တော်မူပြီးမှ ၊ တပည့်တော်တို့ ရှေ့ ၌ ကြွ ၍ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့သို့ ခရီးသွား တော်မူ၏။
29 As he approached Bethphage and Bethany on the Mount of Olives, he sent two disciples, telling them:
၂၉သံလွင် အမည် ရှိသော တောင် ခြေရင်း၌ ဗက်ဖာဂေ ရွာနှင့် ဗေသနိ ရွာအနီးသို့ ရောက်တော်မူ သောအခါ ၊ တပည့် တော်နှစ် ယောက်တို့ကို စေလွှတ် ၍၊
30 “Go to the village farther on. As you enter it you'll find a colt tied up that no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here.
၃၀သင်တို့ရှေ့ ၌ရှိသောရွာ သို့ သွား ကြ။ ထို ရွာသို့ ရောက် လျှင် အဘယ်သူ မျှ မစီး ဘူးသောမြည်းကလေး ချည်နှောင် လျက်ရှိသည်ကို သင်တို့သည် တွေ့ လိမ့်မည်။ မြည်းကြိုး ကိုဖြည် ၍ ဆောင်ခဲ့ ကြ။
31 If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ just say, ‘The Lord needs it.’”
၃၁သူတစ်ပါး က အဘယ်ကြောင့် မြည်းကြိုးကို ဖြည် သနည်းဟု သင် တို့ကိုဆို လျှင် ၊ သခင် အလို ရှိ သည်ဟု ပြန်ပြော ကြလော့ ဟု မှာထား တော်မူ၏။
32 So the two disciples went and found that everything was just as Jesus had said.
၃၂ထိုသို့ စေလွှတ် သောသူ တို့သည်သွား ၍ စကား တော်အတိုင်း တွေ့ ကြ၏။
33 As they were untying the colt, its owners asked them, “Why are you untying the colt?”
၃၃မြည်းကြိုးကို ဖြည် စဉ်တွင်မြည်း ရှင် တို့က ၊ အဘယ်ကြောင့် မြည်း ကြိုးကို ဖြည် သနည်းဟုဆို လျှင်၊
34 The disciples replied, “The Lord needs it.”
၃၄သခင် အလို ရှိ သည်ဟု ပြန်ပြော ကြ၏။ ယေရှု ထံတော်သို့ မြည်းကလေး ကို ဆောင်ခဲ့ ၍ ၊
35 They brought the colt to Jesus. Then they threw their cloaks over it, and sat Jesus on its back.
၃၅မြည်း ကျောပေါ်မှာ မိမိ တို့ အဝတ် ကို တင် ပြီးလျှင် ကိုယ်တော် ကို စီး စေကြ၏။
36 As he rode along, people spread their cloaks on the road.
၃၆ခရီးသွား တော်မူစဉ် တွင် လူများတို့သည် မိမိ တို့ အဝတ် ကို လမ်း ၌ ခင်း ကြ၏။
37 As he approached Jerusalem, right where the road goes down from the Mount of Olives, the crowd of disciples all began shouting joyful praises to God at the top of their voices for all the miracles they had seen.
၃၇သံလွင် တောင် ပေါ်က ဆင်း ရာအရပ်သို့ ရောက် တော်မူသောအခါ ၊ တပည့် တော်များ အပေါင်း တို့သည် မိမိတို့ မြင် ခဲ့ပြီးသောတန်ခိုး တော်များ ကိုထောက် ၍ ဝမ်းမြောက် သောစိတ်နှင့် ဘုရားသခင် ကို ထောမနာ ပြု၍၊
38 “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord,” they shouted. “Peace in heaven and glory in highest heaven.”
၃၈ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ အခွင့် နှင့် ကြွလာ တော်မူသော ရှင်ဘုရင် သည် မင်္ဂလာ ရှိစေသတည်း။ ကောင်းကင် ဘဝဂ် ဝယ် ဘုန်းကြီး ပါစေသတည်းဟု ကြွေးကြော် ကြ၏။
39 Some of the Pharisees who were in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, stop your disciples from saying that.”
၃၉လူအစုအဝေး ၌ ပါသော ဖာရိရှဲ အချို့ တို့က၊ အရှင် ဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော် ၏တပည့် တို့ကို ဆုံးမ ပါဟု လျှောက် ကြသော်၊
40 But Jesus replied, “I tell you that if they kept quiet then the stones will shout!”
၄၀ယေရှုကလည်း၊ ငါဆို သည်ကား၊ ဤ သူတို့သည် တိတ်ဆိတ် စွာနေလျှင် ကျောက်ခဲ တို့သည် ချက်ခြင်းကြွေးကြော် ကြလိမ့်မည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
41 But as he got closer, he saw the city and wept over it.
၄၁ယေရုရှလင်မြို့ အနီး သို့ ရောက်၍ ကြည့် မြင်လျက် ငိုကြွေး တော်မူ၍ ၊
42 “I really wish today that you, even you, had known the path that leads to peace!” he said. “But now it's hidden from your eyes.
၄၂အချင်းမြို့၊ သင် ၏ငြိမ်သက် ခြင်းနှင့် စပ်ဆိုင်သောအရာ တို့ကို သင်၏လက်ထက် ယခု ကာလ၌ပင် သင်သည် သိ ရလျှင် မင်္ဂလာရှိ၏။ ယခုမူကား၊ ထိုအရာတို့ကို သင် ၏မျက်စိ ရှေ့မှာ မထင်ရှားစေခြင်းငှာဝှက်ထား လျက် ရှိ၏။
43 The time is coming upon you when your enemies will besiege you, building ramps to attack you, encircling you and closing you in from every side.
၄၃အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ သင့် ကို ကြည့်ရှုပြုစုတော်မူသော ကျေးဇူးကို သင်သည် မသိမမှတ်သောကြောင့်၊ သင် ၏ ရန်သူ တို့သည် သင့် ပတ်လည် တွင် တပ် တည်၍ လေး မျက်နှာ၌ ဝိုင်းရံလျက် ချုပ်ထားပြီးလျှင်၊
44 They will smash you to the ground, you and your children within you. They won't leave one stone on another within you, for you refused to accept salvation when it came to you.”
၄၄သင်၏ကိုယ် မှစ၍ သင် ၏ သားသမီး တို့ကို မြေ နှင့်တညီတည်းညှိသဖြင့် ၊ သင် ၏ကျောက် တစ်ခုပေါ်မှာ တစ်ခု မျှထပ်ဆင့်၍ မ ကျန်ရစ် စေခြင်းငှာပြုကြသောအချိန် ကာလသည် ရောက် လိမ့်မည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
45 Jesus entered the Temple and began driving out all the people trading there.
၄၅ဗိမာန် တော်သို့ ဝင် တော်မူပြီးလျှင် ၊ ဗိမာန်တော်၌ ရောင်း ဝယ်သောသူတို့ ကို နှင်ထုတ် လျက်၊
46 He told them, “Scriptures state that ‘my house will be a house of prayer,’ but you've turned it into a den of thieves.”
၄၆ငါ့ အိမ် သည် ဆုတောင်း ရာအိမ် ဖြစ် ၏ဟု ကျမ်းစာ ၌ လာသော်လည်း၊ သင် တို့သည် ထိုအိမ် ကို ဓားပြ တွင်း ဖြစ် စေကြပြီတကား ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
47 He was teaching in the Temple every day. The chief priests, the religious teachers, and the leaders of the people were trying to kill him.
၄၇ကိုယ်တော်သည် နေ့တိုင်း ဗိမာန် တော်၌ ဆုံးမ ဩဝါဒပေး တော်မူ၏။ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အကြီး၊ ကျမ်းပြု ဆရာ၊ လူ တို့တွင်အကြီးအကဲ ဖြစ်သောသူ တို့သည်ကိုယ်တော် ကို သတ် ခြင်းငှာရှာ ကြသော်လည်း ၊
48 But they couldn't find a way to do it because everyone appreciated him, hanging on his every word.
၄၈လူ အပေါင်း တို့သည် ဒေသနာတော်ကို စေ့စေ့ နားထောင် သောကြောင့် သတ်နိုင်သောအခွင့် ကို မ တွေ့ မရကြ။
