< Leviticus 9 >

1 On the eighth day after the ordination Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel, to meet with him.
Ku lunaku olw’omunaana Musa n’ayita Alooni ne batabani be n’abakulembeze ba Isirayiri.
2 He told Aaron, “You need to bring a young bull as a sin offering and a ram as a burnt offering, both without defects, and present them before the Lord.
N’agamba Alooni nti, “Ddira ennyana eya sseddume eweebwayo olw’ekibi, n’endiga ennume olw’ekiweebwayo ekyokebwa, nga zombi teziriiko kamogo, oziweeyo ng’ekiweebwayo eri Mukama Katonda.
3 Then tell the Israelites, ‘Bring the following offerings: a male goat as a sin offering; a calf and a lamb, (both a year old and without defects), for a burnt offering;
Ogambe abaana ba Isirayiri nti, ‘Muddire embuzi ennume eweebwayo olw’ekibi, n’ennyana n’omwana gw’endiga, nga zino zombi zaakamala omwaka gumu obukulu era nga teziriiko kamogo, nga za kiweebwayo ekyokebwa;
4 a bull and a ram as a peace offering to sacrifice before the Lord; and a grain offering mixed with olive oil. Do this because today the Lord is going to reveal himself to you today.’”
era n’ente eya sseddume n’endiga ennume eby’ebiweebwayo olw’emirembe, n’ekiweebwayo eky’emmere ey’empeke nga mulimu amafuta ag’omuzeeyituuni, byonna mubiweeyo nga kye kiweebwayo eri Mukama Katonda; kubanga ku lunaku lwa leero Mukama Katonda ajja kubalabikira.’”
5 Following Moses' orders they brought what he'd said to the front of the Tent of Meeting. Everyone came and stood before the Lord.
Bwe batyo ne baleeta byonna Musa bye yabalagira okuleeta mu maaso ga Weema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu. Abantu bonna, kye kibiina ekinene, ne basembera ne bayimirira awali Mukama Katonda.
6 Moses said, “This is what the Lord ordered me to tell you to do, so that you may see his glory.”
Musa n’alyoka abagamba nti, “Kino kye kyo Mukama Katonda kye yabagambye okukola, era ekitiibwa kya Mukama kijja kubalabikira.”
7 Then Moses told Aaron, “Go to the altar and sacrifice your sin offering and your burnt offering to make you and the people right. Then sacrifice the offerings brought by the people as a means to make them right, as the Lord ordered.”
Awo Musa n’agamba Alooni nti, “Sembera ku kyoto oweeyo ekiweebwayo kyo olw’ebyonoono byo, n’ekiweebwayo kyo ekyokebwa, olyoke weetangiririre awamu n’abantu era oleete ekiweebwayo eky’abantu; obatangiririre; nga Mukama Katonda bwe yalagidde.”
8 So Aaron went to the altar and killed the calf as a sin offering for himself.
Awo Alooni n’asembera ku kyoto, n’atta ennyana ey’ekiweebwayo kye olw’ebyonoono bye.
9 His sons brought the blood to him. He dipped his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar. He poured out the rest of the blood at the bottom of the altar.
Batabani ba Alooni ne bamuleetera omusaayi, n’annyika olunwe lwe mu musaayi n’agusiiga ku mayembe ag’oku kyoto, n’afuka omusaayi ku ntobo y’ekyoto.
10 He burned the fat, the kidneys, and the best part of the liver from the sin offering on the altar, as the Lord had ordered Moses to do.
N’addira amasavu n’ensigo n’ebibikka ku kibumba eby’omu kiweebwayo olw’ekibi, n’abyokera ku kyoto, nga Mukama Katonda bwe yalagira Musa.
11 However, he burned up the meat and the skin outside the camp.
Ennyama n’eddiba n’abyokera mu muliro ebweru w’olusiisira.
12 Aaron killed the burnt offering. His sons brought him the blood, and he sprinkled it on the sides of the altar.
Alooni n’atta ekiweebwayo ekyokebwa; batabani be ne bamuleetera omusaayi, n’agumansira ku kyoto okukyebungulula.
13 They brought him the head and all the other pieces of the burnt offering, and he burned them on the altar.
Ne bamuleetera ebifi eby’ekiweebwayo ekyokebwa nga n’omutwe kweguli; byonna n’abyokera ku kyoto.
14 He washed the insides and the legs and burned them with the rest of the burnt offering on the altar.
N’ayoza ebyenda n’amagulu, n’abyokera wamu n’ekiweebwayo ekyokebwa ku kyoto.
15 Then Aaron presented the offerings of the people. He killed the male goat as the sin offering for the people, and offered it in the same way as his own sin offering.
Awo Alooni n’aleeta ekiweebwayo olw’abantu. Yaddira embuzi ey’ekiweebwayo olw’ebibi by’abantu n’agitta, n’agiwaayo ng’ekiweebwayo kye olw’ekibi, kye yasooka olw’ebibi bye.
16 He presented the burnt offering, doing so in accordance with the regulations.
N’aleeta ekiweebwayo ekyokebwa n’akiwaayo ng’etteeka bwe liragira.
17 He presented the grain offering. He took a handful from it and burned it on the altar, in addition to the burnt offering presented earlier that morning.
N’aleeta ekiweebwayo eky’emmere ey’empeke, n’ayoolamu olubatu, n’akyokya ku kyoto okuliraana n’ekiweebwayo ekyokebwa eky’omu makya.
18 Aaron killed the bull and the ram as the peace offering for the people. His sons brought him the blood, and he sprinkled it on the sides of the altar.
Ente ya sseddume n’endiga ennume nazo n’azitta, nga bye biweebwayo olw’emirembe eby’abantu; batabani ba Alooni ne bamuleetera omusaayi, n’agumansira ku kyoto okukyebungulula enjuuyi zonna.
19 They also brought him the fat portions from the bull, and from the ram—the fat tail, the fat covering the insides, the kidneys, and the best part of the liver—
Naye amasavu ag’ente eya sseddume n’ago ag’endiga ennume, n’amasavu ag’oku mukira, n’ago agabikka ku byenda, n’ensigo, n’agabikka ku kibumba,
20 and put them on the breasts. Aaron burned the fat portions on the altar,
ne bateeka amasavu gaabyo ku bifuba by’ensolo ezo, n’ayokya amasavu ago ku kyoto;
21 but he waved the breasts and the right thigh as a wave offering before the Lord, as Moses had ordered him to do.
naye ebifuba n’ekisambi ekya ddyo, Alooni n’abiwuubawuuba mu maaso ga Mukama Katonda nga kye kiweebwayo ekiwuubibwa, nga Musa bwe yalagira.
22 Then Aaron held up his hands towards the people and blessed them. After that he came down from the altar, having completed the sin offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offering.
Awo Alooni n’awanikira abantu emikono gye, n’abasabira omukisa. Bw’atyo Alooni ng’amaze okuwaayo ekiweebwayo olw’ekibi, n’ekiweebwayo ekyokebwa, n’ekiweebwayo olw’emirembe, n’avaayo ku kyoto.
23 Moses and Aaron went into the Tent of Meeting. When they came out, they blessed the people, and the glory of the Lord was revealed to everyone.
Musa ne Alooni ne bayingira mu Weema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu. Bwe baafuluma ne basabira abantu omukisa, era ekitiibwa kya Mukama Katonda ne kirabikira abantu bonna.
24 Fire came from the presence of the Lord and burned up the burnt offering and the fat portions on the altar. When everyone saw this, they shouted for joy and fell down with their faces to the ground.
Omuliro ne gujja nga guva eri Mukama Katonda ne gumalirawo ddala ekiweebwayo ekyokebwa n’amasavu ebyali ku kyoto. Awo abantu bonna bwe baakiraba ne baleekaana ne bagalamira wansi ng’amaaso gaabwe gali ku ttaka.
