Leviticus 5
1 If you sin by not giving the evidence you have about a legal case, whether you saw something yourself or heard about it, you bear responsibility for your guilt.
| «هرگاه کسی از وقوع جرمی اطلاع داشته باشد ولی در مورد آنچه که دیده یا شنیده در دادگاه شهادت ندهد، مجرم است. |
2 If you touch anything unclean such as the dead body of any unclean wild animal or farm animals or vermin, even if you're unaware of it, you become unclean and guilty.
| «هرگاه کسی لاشهٔ حیوان حرام گوشتی را لمس کند، حتی اگر ندانسته این کار را کرده باشد، نجس و مجرم است. |
3 If you touch something unclean from someone else who is unclean, even if you're unaware of it, you become guilty.
| هرگاه کسی نجاست انسان را لمس کند، حتی اگر ندانسته این کار را کرده باشد، وقتی متوجه شد چه کرده است، مجرم می‌باشد. |
4 If you foolishly swear to do something, (whether good or bad, and in whatever way people impulsively swear an oath), even if you're unaware of it being wrong, when you eventually realize it, you are guilty.
| «اگر کسی نسنجیده قولی دهد و قسم بخورد که آن را بجا آورد ولی بعد پی ببرد که قول بی‌جایی داده است، مجرم می‌باشد. |
5 If you become guilty in one of these ways, you must confess your sin,
| در هر یک از این موارد، شخص باید به گناهش اعتراف کند |
6 and you must take your guilt offering of a female lamb or goat to the Lord as a sin offering for your sin. The priest will make your sin right.
| و برای قربانی گناه خود یک بره یا بز ماده نزد خداوند بیاورد تا کاهن برایش کفاره کند. |
7 If you can't afford a lamb, you may offer to the Lord as compensation for your sin two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one as a sin offering and one as a burnt offering.
| «اگر شخص مجرم تنگدست باشد و نتواند بره‌ای بیاورد، می‌تواند دو قمری یا دو جوجه کبوتر برای کفارهٔ گناه خود به خداوند تقدیم کند، یکی برای قربانی گناه و دیگری برای قربانی سوختنی. |
8 You are to take them to the priest, who shall present the first one as the sin offering. He is to wring its head from the neck without removing it completely.
| کاهن پرنده‌ای را که برای قربانی گناه آورده شده، بگیرد و سرش را ببرد، ولی طوری که از تنش جدا نشود. |
9 Then he is to sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar while the rest of the blood is poured out at the bottom of the altar. It is a sin offering.
| سپس قدری از خون آن را بر پهلوی مذبح بپاشد و بقیه را به پای مذبح بریزد. این، قربانی گناه است. |
10 The priest must then prepare the second bird as a burnt offering according to the regulations. In this way the priest will make you right for your sin, and you will be forgiven.
| پرندهٔ دیگر را به عنوان قربانی سوختنی طبق دستورالعملی که قبلا داده شده است قربانی کند. به این ترتیب کاهن برای گناه او کفاره خواهد کرد و گناه او بخشیده خواهد شد. |
11 If you can't afford two turtledoves or two young pigeons you may bring a tenth of an ephah of the best flour as a sin offering. Don't put olive oil or frankincense on it, because it is a sin offering.
| «اگر او فقیرتر از آنست که بتواند دو قمری یا دو جوجه کبوتر برای کفارهٔ گناه خود قربانی کند، می‌تواند یک کیلو آرد مرغوب بیاورد. ولی نباید آن را با روغن زیتون مخلوط کند یا کندر بر آن بگذارد، زیرا این، قربانی گناه است. |
12 Take it to the priest, who shall take a handful as a ‘reminder part’ and burn it on the altar on top of the burnt offerings to the Lord. It is a sin offering.
| آرد را پیش کاهن بیاورد تا کاهن مشتی از آن را به عنوان نمونه بردارد و روی مذبح بسوزاند، درست مثل قربانیهایی که بر آتش به خداوند تقدیم می‌شود. این، قربانی گناه اوست. |
13 This is how the priest will make right any of these sins you have committed, and you will be forgiven. The rest of the offering will belong to the priest, just like the grain offering.”
| به این ترتیب کاهن برای گناه او در هر یک از این موارد، کفاره خواهد کرد و او بخشیده خواهد شد. در این قربانی نیز مثل هدیهٔ آردی، بقیهٔ آرد به کاهن تعلق می‌گیرد.» |
14 The Lord told Moses,
| خداوند این دستورها را به موسی داد: |
15 “If any of you neglects unintentionally all that the Lord has declared belong to him and are holy, you must bring your guilt offering to the Lord: a ram without defects from your herd or but one of equivalent value in silver shekels (according to the sanctuary shekel standard). It is a guilt offering.
| «هرگاه کسی در دادن هدیه‌ای که در نظر خداوند مقدّس است ناخواسته قصور ورزد، باید یک قوچ سالم و بی‌عیب برای قربانی جبران به خداوند تقدیم نماید. قوچی که برای قربانی جبران اهدا می‌شود ارزش آن باید به مثقال نقره برحسب مثقال عبادتگاه برآورده شود. |
16 As regards any holy requirement you failed to contribute, you must pay compensation by adding a fifth of its value to it and then give it to the priest, who will make it right with the ram as a guilt offering, and you will be forgiven.
| او باید علاوه بر باز پرداخت هدیه، یک پنجم ارزش آن را نیز به آن افزوده، همه را به کاهن بدهد. کاهن با آن قوچ قربانی جبران، برایش کفاره خواهد کرد و او بخشیده خواهد شد. |
17 If you sin and break any of the Lord's commandments, even if you are unaware of it, you are still guilty and bear responsibility for your guilt.
| «اگر کسی مرتکب گناهی شده، یکی از قوانین خداوند را زیر پا بگذارد، ولی نداند که چنین کاری از او سر زده است، باز مجرم است و باید تاوان گناهش را پس بدهد. |
18 You must take to the priest a ram without defects of the appropriate value from the flock as a guilt offering. Then the priest will make right for you the wrong you did in ignorance, and you will be forgiven.
| او باید برای قربانی جبران یک قوچ سالم و بی‌عیب نزد کاهن بیاورد. قیمت قوچ باید مطابق قیمت تعیین شده باشد. کاهن با این قربانی برای او کفاره کند تا گناهش بخشیده شود. |
19 It is a guilt offering because you were guilty as far as the Lord was concerned.”
| این قربانی جبران است برای جرمی که او نسبت به خداوند مرتکب شده است.» |
