< Leviticus 5 >

1 If you sin by not giving the evidence you have about a legal case, whether you saw something yourself or heard about it, you bear responsibility for your guilt.
Ary raha misy manota, satria mandre ny feon’ ny fampianianana, sady vavolombelona nahita na nahalala, nefa tsy manambara izy, ka mahameloka azy izany,
2 If you touch anything unclean such as the dead body of any unclean wild animal or farm animals or vermin, even if you're unaware of it, you become unclean and guilty.
na misy mikasika izay zavatra tsy madio, na ny fatin’ ny bibi-dia tsy madio, na ny fatin’ ny biby fiompy izay tsy madio, na ny fatin’ ny biby mandady na mikisaka izay tsy madio, nefa tsy hitany izany, ka mahaloto sy mahameloka azy izany,
3 If you touch something unclean from someone else who is unclean, even if you're unaware of it, you become guilty.
na misy mikasika ny fahalotoan’ olona, dia izay fahalotoany rehetra na inona na inona, nefa tsy hitany izany, rehefa fantany izany, ka mahameloka azy,
4 If you foolishly swear to do something, (whether good or bad, and in whatever way people impulsively swear an oath), even if you're unaware of it being wrong, when you eventually realize it, you are guilty.
5 If you become guilty in one of these ways, you must confess your sin,
koa raha meloka amin’ ny anankiray amin’ ireo izy, dia hiaiky izay zavatra nanotany,
6 and you must take your guilt offering of a female lamb or goat to the Lord as a sin offering for your sin. The priest will make your sin right.
ary hitondra ny saziny ho an’ i Jehovah noho ny fahotany izay nataony izy, dia ondrivavy na osivavy, nefa izay vantony, ho fanatitra noho ny ota; ary ny mpisorona hanao fanavotana ho azy noho ny fahotany.
7 If you can't afford a lamb, you may offer to the Lord as compensation for your sin two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one as a sin offering and one as a burnt offering.
Ary raha tsy tratry ny ananany izany, dia hitondra domohina roa na zana-boromailala roa ho an’ i Jehovah izy ho saziny noho ny nanotany; ka ny anankiray hatao fanatitra noho ny ota, ary ny anankiray kosa hatao fanatitra dorana.
8 You are to take them to the priest, who shall present the first one as the sin offering. He is to wring its head from the neck without removing it completely.
Dia hitondra ireo ho eo amin’ ny mpisorona izy, ary ny mpisorona kosa hanatitra ny iray aloha ho fanatitra noho ny ota, ka hotapahiny amin’ ny hoho ny lohany ho afaka amin’ ny vozony, fa tsy hohenteriny izy.
9 Then he is to sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar while the rest of the blood is poured out at the bottom of the altar. It is a sin offering.
Ary hamafazany eo amin’ ny rindrin’ ny alitara ny ran’ ny fanatitra noho ny ota; ary ny rà sisa hofiazany eo am-bodin’ ny alitara; dia fanatitra noho ny ota izany.
10 The priest must then prepare the second bird as a burnt offering according to the regulations. In this way the priest will make you right for your sin, and you will be forgiven.
Ary ny iray kosa dia hataony fanatitra dorana, araka ny fanao; ary ny mpisorona hanao fanavotana ho azy noho ny fahotany izay nataony, dia havela ny helony.
11 If you can't afford two turtledoves or two young pigeons you may bring a tenth of an ephah of the best flour as a sin offering. Don't put olive oil or frankincense on it, because it is a sin offering.
Fa raha tsy tratry ny ananany koa ny domohina roa na ny zana-boromailala roa, dia hitondra ny fanatiny noho ny fahotany izy, dia koba tsara toto ampahafolon’ ny efaha ho fanatitra noho ny ota; tsy hasiany diloilo izany, ary tsy hasiany ditin-kazo mani-pofona, fa fanatitra noho ny ota izany.
12 Take it to the priest, who shall take a handful as a ‘reminder part’ and burn it on the altar on top of the burnt offerings to the Lord. It is a sin offering.
Dia hitondra azy ho eo amin’ ny mpisorona izy, ary handraofan’ ny mpisorona eran-tànan-ila ho fanati-pahatsiarovana avy aminy ka hodorany ho fofona eo ambonin’ ny alitara miaraka amin’ ny fanatitra atao amin’ ny afo ho an’ i Jehovah; dia fanatitra noho ny ota izany.
13 This is how the priest will make right any of these sins you have committed, and you will be forgiven. The rest of the offering will belong to the priest, just like the grain offering.”
Ary ny mpisorona hanao fanavotana ho azy noho ny fahotany izay nataony tamin’ ny anankiray amin’ ireo, dia havela ny helony; ary ho an’ ny mpisorona ny sisa, toy ny fanatitra hohanina.
14 The Lord told Moses,
Ary Jehovah niteny tamin’ i Mosesy ka nanao hoe:
15 “If any of you neglects unintentionally all that the Lord has declared belong to him and are holy, you must bring your guilt offering to the Lord: a ram without defects from your herd or but one of equivalent value in silver shekels (according to the sanctuary shekel standard). It is a guilt offering.
Raha misy olona manao izay mahadiso ka manota tsy nahy ny amin’ ny zava-masin’ i Jehovah, dia hitondra ny fanati-panonerany ho an’ i Jehovah izy, dia ondrilahy tsy misy kilema, koa sekely volafotsy no anombananao azy, araka ny sekely masìna, ho fanati-panonerana.
16 As regards any holy requirement you failed to contribute, you must pay compensation by adding a fifth of its value to it and then give it to the priest, who will make it right with the ram as a guilt offering, and you will be forgiven.
Ary izay efa nanotany ny amin’ ny zava-masìna dia honerany, ary hampiany ho tonga avy fahenina ka hatolony amin’ ny mpisorona; ary ny mpisorona hanao fanavotana ho azy amin’ ny ondrilahy atao fanati-panonerana, dia havela ny helony.
17 If you sin and break any of the Lord's commandments, even if you are unaware of it, you are still guilty and bear responsibility for your guilt.
Ary raha misy olona manota, satria manao izay tsy tokony hatao ka mandika ny anankiray amin’ ny didin’ i Jehovah, nefa tsy fantany izany, ka mahameloka azy, ary mitondra ny helony izy,
18 You must take to the priest a ram without defects of the appropriate value from the flock as a guilt offering. Then the priest will make right for you the wrong you did in ignorance, and you will be forgiven.
dia hitondra ondrilahy tsy misy kilema izy, araka ny anombananao azy, ho fanati-panonerana ho any amin’ ny mpisorona; ary ny mpisorona hanao fanavotana ho azy noho ny ota tsy nahy izay nahadiso azy, nefa tsy fantany, dia havela ny helony;
19 It is a guilt offering because you were guilty as far as the Lord was concerned.”
dia fanati-panonerana izany, fa efa meloka tamin’ i Jehovah tokoa izy.
