Joshua 21
1 The leaders of the tribe of Levi approached Eleazar the priest, Joshua the son of Nun, and the leaders of the Israelite tribes.
तब लावियों के आबाई ख़ानदानों के सरदार इली'एलियाज़र काहिन और नून के बेटे यशू'अ और बनी इस्राईल के क़बीलों के आबाई ख़ानदानों के सरदारों के पास आये।
2 They spoke to them at Shiloh in Canaan, saying, “The Lord gave instructions through Moses to give us towns to live in, and pastures for our flocks.”
और मुल्क — ए — कना'न के शीलोह में उन से कहने लगे कि ख़ुदावन्द ने मूसा के बारे में हमारे रहने के लिए शहर और हमारे चौपायों के लिए उनकी नवाही के देने का हुक्म किया था।
3 So, following the Lord's instructions, the Israelites gave towns and pastures to the Levites from their own allocations.
इसलिए बनी इस्राईल ने अपनी अपनी मीरास में से ख़ुदावन्द के हुक्म के मुताबिक़ यह शहर और उनकी नवाही लावियों को दीं।
4 The lot was cast for the families of the Kothaites. These Levites, descendants of Aaron, were allotted thirteen towns from the tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin.
और पर्चा क़िहातियों के नाम पर निकला और हारून काहिन की औलाद को जो लावियों में से थी पर्ची से यहूदाह के क़बीले और शमौन के क़बीले और बिनयमीन के क़बीले में से तेरह शहर मिले।
5 The remaining families of the descendants of Kothah were allotted ten towns from the tribes of Ephraim, Dan, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.
और बाक़ी बनी क़िहात को इफ़्राईम के क़बीले के घरानों और दान के क़बीले और मनस्सी के आधे क़बीले में से दस शहर पर्ची से मिले।
6 The families of the descendants of Gershon were allotted thirteen towns from the tribes of Issachar, Asher, Naphtali, and the half-tribe of Manasseh living in Bashan.
और बनी जैरसोन को इश्कार के क़बीले के घरानों औरआशर के क़बीले और नफ़्ताली के क़बीले और मनस्सी के आधे क़बीले में से जो बसन में है तेरह शहर पर्ची से मिले।
7 The families of the descendants of Merari were allotted twelve towns from the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Zebulun.
और बनी मिरारी को उनके घरानों के मुताबिक़ रूबिन के क़बीले और जद्द के क़बीले और ज़बूलून के क़बीले में से बारह शहर मिले।
8 So the Israelites gave the Levites by lot these towns and pastures, as the Lord had instructed through Moses.
और बनी इस्राईल ने पर्ची डालकर इन शहरों और इनकी नवाही को जैसा ख़ुदावन्द ने मूसा के बारे में फ़रमाया था लावियों को दिया।
9 They gave from the tribe of Judah and the tribe of Simeon the following towns, specifically named,
उन्होंने बनी यहूदाह के क़बीले और बनी शमौन के क़बीले में से यह शहर दिए जिनके नाम यहाँ मज़कूर है।
10 to the families of the Kothaites, descendants of Aaron, of the tribe of Levi, since the first lot fell to them:
और यह क़हातियों के ख़ानदानों में से जो लावी की नसल में से थे बनी हारून को मिले क्यूँकि पहला पर्चा उनके नाम का था।
11 Kiriath-arba (or Hebron), in the hill country of Judah, together with the pastures around it. (Arba was the forefather of Anak.)
इसलिए उन्होंने यहूदाह के पहाड़ी मुल्क में 'अनाक़ के बाप अरबा' का शहर क़रयत अरबा'जो हबरून कहलाता है म'ए उसके 'इलाक़े के उनको दिया।
12 But the more distant fields from the town and the villages had been given to Caleb son of Jephunneh to own.
लेकिन उस शहर के खेतों और गाँव को उन्होंने युफ़न्ना के बेटे कालिब को मीरास के तौर पर दिया।
13 They gave to the descendants of Aaron the priest the following towns and their pastures: Hebron (a sanctuary town for those who accidentally committed murder), Libnah,
इसलिए उन्होंने हारून का काहिन की औलाद को हबरून जो ख़ूनी की पनाह का शहर था और उसके 'इलाक़े और लिबनाह और उसके 'इलाक़े।
14 Jattir, Eshtemoa,
और यतीर और उसके 'इलाक़े और इस्तिमू'अ और उसके 'इलाक़े।
15 Holon, Debir,
और हौलून और उसके 'इलाक़े और दबीर और उसके 'इलाक़े।
16 Ain, Juttah, and Beth-shemesh—nine towns from these two tribes.
और 'ऐन और उसके 'इलाक़े और यूत्ता और उसके 'इलाक़े और बैत शम्स और उसके 'इलाक़े या'नी यह नौ शहर उन दोनों क़बीलों से ले कर दिए।
17 From the tribe of Benjamin the following four towns and their pastures: Gibeon, Geba,
और बिनयमीन के क़बीले से जिबा'ऊन और उसके 'इलाक़े और जिबा' और उसके 'इलाक़े।
18 Anathoth, and Almon.
और अनतोत और उसके 'इलाक़े और 'अलमोन और उसके 'इलाक़े यह चार शहर दिए गए।
19 So in total thirteen towns and their pastures were given to the priests, the descendants of Aaron.
इसलिए बनी हारून के जो काहिन हैं सब शहर तेरह थे जिनके साथ उनकी नवाही भी थी।
20 As for the remaining families of the children of Kothah from the tribe of Levi, they were given by lot four towns and their pastures from the tribe of Ephraim:
और बनी क़िहात के घरानों को जो लावी थे या'नी बाक़ी बनी क़िहात को इफ़्राईम के क़बीले से यह शहर पर्ची से मिले।
21 Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim (a sanctuary town for those who accidentally committed murder), Gezer,
और उन्होंने इफ़्राईम के पहाड़ी मुल्क में उनको सिकम शहर और उसके 'इलाक़े तो ख़ूनी की पनाह के लिए और जज़र और उसके 'इलाक़े।
22 Kibzaim, and Beth-horon.
और क़िबज़ैम और उसके 'इलाक़े और बैत हौरून और उसके 'इलाक़े यह चार शहर दिए।
23 From the tribe of Dan, the following four towns and their pastures: Eltekeh, Gibbethon,
और दान के क़बीला से इलतिक़िया और उसके 'इलाक़े और जिब्बतून और उसके 'इलाक़े।
24 Aijalon, and Gath-rimmon.
और अय्यालोन और उसके 'इलाक़े और जात रिम्मोन और उसके 'इलाक़े यह चार शहर दिए।
25 From the half-tribe of Manasseh the following two towns and their pastures: Taanach and Gath-rimmon.
और मनस्सी के आधे क़बीले से ता'नक और उसके 'इलाक़े और जात रिम्मोन और उसके 'इलाक़े, यह दो शहर दिए।
26 So in total ten towns and their pastures were given to remaining families of the descendants of Kothah.
बाक़ी बनी क़िहात के घरानों के सब शहर अपनी अपनी नवाही के साथ दस थे।
27 The families of the descendants of Gershon from the tribe of Levi received the following two towns and their pastures from the half-tribe of Manasseh: Golan in Bashan (a sanctuary town for those who accidentally committed murder), and Be-eshterah.
और बनी जैरसोन को जो लावियों के घरानों में से हैं मनस्सी के दूसरे आधे क़बीले में से उन्होंने बसन में जो लान और उसके 'इलाक़े तो ख़ूनी की पनाह के लिए और बि'अस्तराह और उसके 'इलाक़े यह दो शहर दिए।
28 From the tribe of Issachar the following four towns and their pastures: Kishion, Daberath,
और इश्कार के क़बीले से क़िसयून और उसके 'इलाक़े और दबरत और उसके 'इलाक़े।
29 Jarmuth, and En-gannim.
यरमोत और उसके 'इलाक़े और 'ऐन जन्नीम और उसके 'इलाक़े, यह चार शहर दिए।
30 From the tribe of Asher the following four towns and their pastures: Mishal, Abdon,
और आशर के क़बीले से मसाल और उसके 'इलाक़े और अबदोन और उसके 'इलाक़े।
31 Helkath, and Rehob.
ख़िलक़त और उसके 'इलाक़े और रहोब और उसके 'इलाक़े यह चार शहर दिए।
32 From the tribe of Naphtali the following three towns and their pastures: Kedesh in Galilee (a sanctuary town for those who accidentally committed murder), Hammoth-dor, and Kartan.
और नफ़्ताली के क़बीले से जलील में क़ादिस और उसके 'इलाक़े तो ख़ूनी की पनाह के लिए और हम्मात दूर और उसके 'इलाक़े और क़रतान और उसके 'इलाक़े, यह तीन शहर दिए।
33 So in total thirteen towns and their pastures were allotted to the families of Gershon.
इसलिए जैरसोनियों के घरानों के मुताबिक़ उनके सब शहर अपनी अपनी नवाही के साथ तेरह थे।
34 The families of the descendants of Merari, those remaining from the tribe of Levi, received the following four towns and their pastures from the tribe of Zebulun: Jokneam, Kartah,
और बनी मिरारी के घरानों को जो बाक़ी लावी थे ज़बूलून के क़बीला से यक़'नियाम और उसके 'इलाक़े, क़रताह और उसके 'इलाक़े।
35 Dimnah, and Nahalal.
दिमना और उसके 'इलाक़े, नहलाल और उसके 'इलाक़े, यह चार शहर दिए।
36 From the tribe of Reuben the following four towns and their pastures: Bezer, Jahaz,
और रूबिन के क़बीले से बसर और उसके 'इलाक़े, यहसा और उसके 'इलाक़े।
37 Kedemoth, and Mephaath.
क़दीमात और उसके 'इलाक़े और मिफ़'अत और उसके 'इलाक़े, यह चार शहर दिये।
38 From the tribe of Gad the following four towns and their pastures: Ramoth in Gilead (a sanctuary town for those who accidentally committed murder), Mahanaim,
और जद्द के क़बीले से जिल'आद में रामा और उसके 'इलाक़े तो ख़ूनी की पनाह के लिए और महनाइम और उसके 'इलाक़े।
39 Heshbon, and Jazer.
हस्बोन और उसके 'इलाक़े, या'ज़ेर और उसके 'इलाक़े, कुल चार शहर दिए।
40 So in total twelve towns were allotted to the families of Merari, those remaining from the tribe of Levi.
इसलिए ये सब शहर उनके घरानों के मुताबिक़ बनी मिरारी के थे, जो लावियों के घरानों के बाक़ी लोग थे उनको पर्ची से बारह शहर मिले।
41 The Levites received a total of forty-eight towns and pastures within the land of the Israelites.
तब बनी इस्राईल की मिल्कियत के बीच लावियों के सब शहर अपनी अपनी नवाही के साथ अठतालीस थे।
42 Each of these towns had pastures around them.
उन शहरों में से हर एक शहर अपने गिर्द की नवाही के साथ था सब शहर ऐसे ही थे।
43 And so the Lord gave to the Israelites all the land he had promised their ancestors. They took possession of it and settled there.
यूँ ख़ुदावन्द ने इस्राईलियों को वह सारा मुल्क दिया जिसे उनके बाप दादा को देने की क़सम उस ने खाई थी और वह उस पर क़ाबिज़ हो कर उसमें बस गये।
44 The Lord gave them peace on every side as he had promised their ancestors. Not a single one of their enemies could stand against them, for the Lord had handed their enemies over to them to defeat.
और ख़ुदावन्द ने उन सब बातों के मुताबिक़ जिनकी क़सम उस ने उनके बाप दादा से खाई थी चारों तरफ़ से उनको आराम दिया और उनके सब दुश्मनों में से एक आदमी भी उनके सामने खड़ा न रहा, ख़ुदावन्द ने उनके सब दुश्मनों को उनके क़ब्ज़े में कर दिया।
45 Not a single one of the good things the Lord promised Israel had failed; everything had come true.
और जितनी अच्छी बातें ख़ुदावन्द ने इस्राईल के घराने से कही थीं उन में से एक भी न छूटी, सब की सब पूरी हुईं।
