Joshua 19

1 The second lot cast went to the tribe of Simeon, by families. The land was within the land allotted to the tribe of Judah.

இரண்டாவது சீட்டு வம்சம் வம்சமாக சிமியோன் கோத்திரத்திற்கு விழுந்தது. அவர்களுக்குக் கிடைத்த சொத்துரிமை யூதாவின் நிலப்பரப்புகளுக்குள்ளே அமைந்தது.

2 Their allocation included Beersheba, Sheba, Moladah,

அப்பட்டணங்களாவன: பெயெர்செபா அல்லது சேபா, மொலாதா,

3 Hazar-shual, Balah, Ezem,

ஆத்சார்சூவால், பாலா, ஆத்சேம்,

4 Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,

5 Ziklag, Beth-marcaboth, Hazar-susah,

6 Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen—thirteen towns with their associated villages.

பெத் லெபாவோத், சருகேன் ஆகிய பதின்மூன்று நகரங்களும், அவற்றின் கிராமங்களுமாகும்.

7 Also: Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan—four towns with their associated villages,

மேலும் ஆயின், ரிம்மோன், ஏத்தேர், ஆஷான் என்னும் நான்கு நகரங்களும் அவற்றின் கிராமங்களும்,

8 as well as all the villages around these towns as far as Baalath-beer (or Ramah of the Negev). This was the land allotted to the tribe of Simeon, by families.

9 The allocation of the tribe of Simeon was part of that given to the tribe of Judah, since what the tribe of Judah had received was too large for them.

யூதாவுக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்ட பங்கு அவர்களுக்கு தேவையானதைவிட அதிகமாயிருந்தது. ஆதலால் சிமியோனின் சொத்துரிமை யூதாவின் பங்கில் இருந்து கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. எனவே யூதாவின் நிலப்பரப்புகளுக்குள்ளேயே சிமியோனியருக்கு சொத்துரிமைப் பங்கு அளிக்கப்பட்டது.

10 The third lot cast went to the tribe of Zebulun, by families. The boundary of their allocation began at Sarid,

மூன்றாவது சீட்டு வம்சம் வம்சமாக செபுலோன் கோத்திரத்திற்கு விழுந்தது: அவர்களுடைய சொத்துரிமையின் எல்லை சாரீத் வரை சென்றது.

11 and then went west past Maralah, touched Dabbeshah, and then the brook near Jokneam.

மேற்கே செல்கையில் அது மாராலா என்னும் இடத்திற்குச் சென்று பின் தாபெஷெத்தை தொட்டுச்சென்று யொக்கினேயாமுக்கு அருகே உள்ள கணவாய்வரை நீண்டிருந்தது.

12 Going the other way from Sarid, the boundary headed east to the border of Kislot-tabor, on to Daberath, and then up to Japhia.

இந்த எல்லை சாரீத் பட்டணத்திலிருந்து கிழக்குப்பக்கமாகத் திரும்பி, சூரியன் உதிக்கும் திசை நோக்கி கிஸ்லோத் தாபோரின் நிலப்பரப்புக்குச் சென்றது. அங்கிருந்து தாபேராத்துக்கும் யப்பியா வரைக்கும் மேலே ஏறிச் சென்றது.

13 From there it ran east to Gath-hepher, Eth-kazin, and on to Rimmon, and turned towards Neah.

தொடர்ந்து கிழக்கே காத் ஏபேர், ஏத் காத்சீன் வரை சென்று பின் ரிம்மோன் வழியாக நேயாவுக்குத் திரும்பியது.

14 There the boundary turned north to Hannathon, ending at the valley of Iphtah-el.

அவ்விடத்தின் எல்லை வடக்கே அன்னதோனுக்குச் சென்று இப்தாயேலின் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே முடிவடைந்தது.

15 The towns included: Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem—twelve towns with their associated villages.

காத்தா, நகலால், சிம்ரோன், இதாலா, பெத்லெகேம் ஆகிய பன்னிரண்டு பட்டணங்களும் அவற்றின் கிராமங்களும் இதனுள் அடங்கியிருந்தன.

16 This was the allocation—the land, towns, and villages—given to the tribe of Zebulun, by families.

இப்பட்டணங்களும் அவற்றின் கிராமங்களுமே செபுலோனுக்கு வம்சம் வம்சமாகக் கிடைத்த சொத்துரிமை.

17 The fourth lot cast went to the tribe of Issachar, by families.

நான்காவது சீட்டு வம்சம் வம்சமாக இசக்கார் கோத்திரத்திற்கு விழுந்தது.

18 Their land included these towns: Jezreel, Kesulloth, Shunem,

அவர்களுடைய நிலப்பரப்பில் யெஸ்ரயேல், கெசுலோத், சூனேம்,

19 Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,

அபிராயீம், சீயோன், அனாகராத்,

20 Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez,

ராபித், கிசோயோன், அபெத்ஸ்,

21 Remeth, En-gannim, En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez.

ரெமேத், என்கன்னீம், என்காதா, பெத் பாஸ்செஸ் ஆகிய பட்டணங்கள் உள்ளடங்கியிருந்தன.

22 The boundary also reached the towns of Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth-shemesh, and ended at the Jordan River—sixteen towns with their associated villages.

அந்த எல்லை தாபோர், சகசீமா, பெத்ஷிமேஷ் பட்டணங்களைத் தொட்டுச்சென்று யோர்தான் நதியில் முடிந்தது. அங்கே பதினாறு பட்டணங்களும் அவற்றின் கிராமங்களும் இருந்தன.

23 This was the allocation—the land, towns, and villages—given to the tribe of Zebulun, by families.

இப்பட்டணங்களும் இவற்றின் கிராமங்களுமே வம்சம் வம்சமாக இசக்கார் கோத்திரத்திற்குக் கிடைத்த சொத்துரிமை.

24 The fifth lot cast went to the tribe of Asher, by families.

ஐந்தாம் சீட்டு, வம்சம் வம்சமாக ஆசேர் கோத்திரத்திற்கு விழுந்தது.

25 Their allocation included the towns of Helkath, Hali, Beten, Acshaph,

அவர்களுடைய நிலப்பரப்பு, எல்காத், ஆலி, பேதேன், அக்சாப்,

26 Allammelech, Amad, and Mishal. Their boundary reached Carmel and Shihor-libnat in the west.

அலம்மேலெக், ஆமாத், மிஷால், ஆகிய பட்டணங்களை உள்ளடக்கியது. மேற்கு எல்லையானது கர்மேலையும், சீகோர் லிப்னாத்தையும் தொட்டு,

27 Then it turned east towards Beth-dagon, reaching the land of Zebulun and the valley of Iphtah-el. From there it headed north to Beth-emek and Neiel, and continued north to Cabul, and on through to

28 Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, Kanah, and on up to Great Sidon.

29 The boundary then turned towards Ramah and then the fortified town of Tyre, turning to Hosah and ending at the sea. Towns included Mehebel, Aczib,

31 This was the allocation—the land, towns, and villages—given to the tribe of Asher, by families.

இந்நகரங்களும் அவற்றின் கிராமங்களுமே வம்சம் வம்சமாக ஆசேர் கோத்திரத்தாருக்குக் கிடைத்த சொத்துரிமை.

32 The sixth lot cast went to the tribe of Naphtali, by families.

ஆறாவது சீட்டு வம்சம் வம்சமாக நப்தலி கோத்திரத்திற்கு விழுந்தது.

33 Their boundary began at Heleph, by the oak at Zaananim, and went across to Adami-nekeb, Jabneel, and up to Lakkum, and ending at the Jordan.

அவர்களின் எல்லை ஏலேப்பிலும், சானானிமின் பெரிய மரத்தடியிலுமிருந்து ஆதமி நெகேப், யாப்னியேலைக் கடந்து லக்கூமை அடைந்து, யோர்தானில் முடிவடைந்தது.

34 Then the boundary headed west to Aznoth-tabor, and on to Hukkok. It reached the land of Zebulun on the south, the land of Asher on the west, and the Jordan on the east.

எல்லை மேற்கே சென்று அஸ்னோத் தாபோர் வழியாகப்போய் உக்கொத்தில் முடிவடைந்தது. தெற்கே செபுலோனையும், மேற்கே ஆசேரையும், கிழக்கே யோர்தானையும் தொட்டுச் சென்றது.

35 The fortified towns included: Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth,

அங்கிருந்த அரணிடப்பட்ட பட்டணங்களாவன: சித்திம், சேர், அம்மாத், ரக்காத், கின்னரேத்,

36 Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,

ஆதமா, ராமா, ஆத்சோர்,

37 Kedesh, Edrei, En-hazor,

கேதேஸ், எத்ரேயி, என் ஆத்சோர்

38 Yiron, Migdal-el, Horem, Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh—nineteen towns with their associated villages.

ஈரோன், மிக்தாலேல், ஒரேம், பெத் ஆனாத், பெத்ஷிமேஷ் ஆகியன. அங்கே பத்தொன்பது நகரங்களும் அவற்றின் கிராமங்களும் இருந்தன.

39 This was the allocation—the land, towns, and villages—given to the tribe of Naphtali, by families.

இப்பட்டணங்களும் அவற்றின் கிராமங்களும் வம்சம் வம்சமாக நப்தலி கோத்திரத்திற்குக் கிடைத்த சொத்துரிமை.

40 The seventh lot cast went to the tribe of Dan, by families.

ஏழாவது சீட்டு வம்சம் வம்சமாக தாண் கோத்திரத்திற்கு விழுந்தது.

41 Their allocation included the towns of Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir-shemesh,

அவர்களுக்குக் கிடைத்த சொத்துரிமை: சோரா, எஸ்தாவோல், இர்ஷெமேஸ்,

42 Shaalabbin, Aijalon, Ithlah,

சாலாபீன், ஆயலோன், இத்லா,

43 Elon, Timnah, Ekron,

ஏலோன், திம்னா, எக்ரோன்,

44 Eltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath,

எல்தெக்கே, கிபெத்தோன், பாலாத்,

45 Jehud, Bene-berak, Gath-rimmon,

யெகூத், பெனபெராக், காத்ரிம்மோன்,

46 Me-jarkon, Rakkon, along with the territory opposite Joppa.

மேயார்கோன், ராக்கோன் யோப்பாவுக்கு எதிரே உள்ள பிரதேசம் ஆகியவற்றை உள்ளடக்கியிருந்தது.

47 However, the tribe of Dan was not able to hold on to their allotted land, so they went and attacked Leshem and captured it. They slaughtered its inhabitants and took possession of the town, settling there. They renamed Leshem as Dan, after their ancestor.

ஆனால் தாண் கோத்திரத்தாருக்கோ தங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட நிலப்பரப்பைத் தமக்குரியதாக்கிக்கொள்வது கடினமாயிருந்தது. எனவே லெஷேம் என்னும் இடத்திற்குச் சென்று அதைத் தாக்கிக் கைப்பற்றினார்கள். அதன் குடிகளை தம் வாளுக்கு இரையாக்கி, அதில் தாங்கள் குடியேறினார்கள். அவர்கள் லெஷேமில் குடியேறி தங்கள் முற்பிதாவின் பெயரின்படி அதற்குத் தாண் என்று பெயரிட்டார்கள்.

48 This was the allocation—the land, towns, and villages—given to the tribe of Dan, by families.

இந்த நகரங்களும் அவற்றின் கிராமங்களுமே வம்சம் வம்சமாக தாண் கோத்திரத்திற்குக் கிடைத்த சொத்துரிமை.

49 After they finished allotting the land and establishing its borders, the Israelites gave Joshua, son of Nun, an allocation among them.

இவ்வாறு நிலம் பிரிக்கப்பட்டு ஒவ்வொரு கோத்திரத்திற்கும் சொத்துரிமையாக வழங்கப்பட்டபின், இஸ்ரயேல் மக்கள் நூனின் மகனாகிய யோசுவாவுக்குத் தங்கள் மத்தியில் சொத்துரிமையைக்

50 Following the Lord's command, they gave him the town he requested—Timnath-serah in the hill country of Ephraim. He rebuilt the town and settled there.

யெகோவாவின் கட்டளைப்படி கொடுத்தார்கள். அவன் கேட்ட திம்னாத் சேராக் என்ற பட்டணத்தை அவனுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள். இது எப்பிராயீம் மலைநாட்டில் இருந்தது. யோசுவா அவ்விடத்தில் நகரத்தைக் கட்டி அங்கே குடியேறினான்.

51 These were the allocations distributed by Eleazar the priest, Joshua, son of Nun, and the leaders of the Israelite tribes. They were made by casting lots at Shiloh in the presence of the Lord at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting. So they finished dividing up the land.
