1 These are the kings that the Israelites defeated when they took possession of their land east of the Jordan, from the Arnon valley in the south to Mount Hermon in the north, including all the land on the east side of the Jordan.

و اینانند ملوک آن زمین که بنی‌اسرائیل کشتند، و زمین ایشان را به آن طرف اردن به سوی مطلع آفتاب از وادی ارنون تا کوه حرمون، و تمامی عربه شرقی را متصرف شدند.

2 Sihon, king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon, ruled from Aroer on the edge of the Arnon valley, all the way from the middle of the valley to the Jabbok River, the boundary with the Ammonites (and included half of Gilead).

سیهون ملک اموریان که در حشبون ساکن بود، واز عروعیر که به کناره وادی ارنون است، و ازوسط وادی و نصف جلعاد تا وادی یبوق که سرحد بنی عمون است، حکمرانی می‌کرد.

3 His territory also included the Jordan Valley up to the sea of Kinnereth and land to the east, and all the way down to the Salt Sea, east towards Beth-jeshimoth and south to the slopes of Pisgah.

و ازعربه تا دریای کنروت به طرف مشرق و تا دریای عربه، یعنی بحرالملح به طرف مشرق به راه بیت یشیموت و به طرف جنوب زیر دامن فسجه.

4 King Og of Bashan, one of the last of the Rephaites, who lived in Ashtaroth and Edrei,

و سر حد عوج، ملک باشان، که از بقیه رفائیان بود و در عشتاروت و ادرعی سکونت داشت.

5 ruled in the north from Mount Hermon to Sacaleh, and all of Bashan to the east, and west to the borders of the Geshurites and Maacathites, together with half of Gilead up to the border of Sihon, king of Heshbon.

ودر کوه حرمون و سلخه و تمامی باشان تا سر حدجشوریان و معکیان و بر نصف جلعاد تا سرحدسیهون، ملک حشبون حکمرانی می‌کرد.

6 Moses, the servant of the Lord, and the Israelites had defeated them, and Moses had allotted the land to the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.

اینهارا موسی بنده خداوند و بنی‌اسرائیل زدند، وموسی بنده خداوند آن را به روبینیان و جادیان ونصف سبط منسی به ملکیت داد.

7 These are the kings of the land that Joshua and the Israelites defeated to the west of the Jordan, from Baal Gad in the valley of Lebanon to Mount Halak leading to Seir. Joshua gave it to the tribes of Israel to own as it was allotted to them.

و اینانند ملوک آن زمین که یوشع وبنی‌اسرائیل ایشان را در آن طرف اردن به سمت مغرب کشت، از بعل جاد در وادی لبنان، تا کوه حالق که به سعیر بالا می‌رود، و یوشع آن را به اسباط اسرائیل برحسب فرقه های ایشان به ملکیت داد.

8 The land included the hill country, the foothills, the Jordan Valley, the slopes, and the Negev desert—the land of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.

در کوهستان و هامون و عربه ودشتها و صحرا و در جنوب از حتیان و اموریان وکنعانیان و فرزیان و حویان و یبوسیان.

9 The king of Jericho. The king of Ai, near Bethel.

یکی ملک اریحا و یکی ملک عای که در پهلوی بیت ئیل است.

10 The king of Jerusalem. The king of Hebron.

و یکی ملک اورشلیم و یکی ملک حبرون.

و یکی ملک یرموت و یکی ملک لاخیش.

12 The king of Eglon. The king of Gezer.

و یکی ملک عجلون و یکی ملک جازر.
