John 16

1 I've told you this so you won't give up your trust in me.

၁သင် တို့သည် စိတ် မ ပျက်စေခြင်းငှာ ဤ စကားကို ငါဟောပြော ၏။

2 They will expel you from the synagogues—in fact the time is coming when those who kill you will think they are doing God a service.

၂လောကီသားတို့သည် သင် တို့ကိုတရားစရပ် မှ နှင်ထုတ်လိမ့်မည်။ သင် တို့ကိုသတ် သောသူ မည်သည်ကား ၊ ဘုရား ဝတ် ကို ငါပြု ပြီဟု မိမိထင်မှတ်သောအချိန် ကာလရောက် လိမ့်မည်။

3 They'll do this because they have never known the Father or me. I've told you this so that when these things happen, you'll remember what I told you.

၃ခမည်းတော် ကိုမ သိ ၊ ငါ့ ကိုလည်း မ သိသောကြောင့် ထိုသို့ ပြု ကြလိမ့်မည်။

4 I didn't need to tell you this right at the beginning because I was going to be with you.

၄ထိုအချိန် ကာလရောက် သောအခါ ၊ ငါသည်အထက်က ဤသို့ ပြော ပြီးသည်ကို သင်တို့အောက်မေ့ စေခြင်းငှာ ယခုပင်ငါ ဟောပြော ၏။အစဦး ၌ သင် တို့နှင့်အတူ ငါရှိ သောကြောင့် ဤသို့ မ ပြော ဘူးသေး။

5 But now I'm going to the one who sent me, and yet not one of you is asking me, ‘Where are you going?’

၅ငါ့ ကို စေလွှတ် တော်မူသောသူ ထံသို့ ယခု ငါသွား ရမည်ဖြစ်၍၊ အဘယ် အရပ်သို့ သွား မည်နည်းဟု သင် တို့မ မေး ကြ။

6 Of course, now that I've told you, you're full of grief.

၆ဤ အကြောင်းအရာတို့ကို ငါဟောပြော သောကြောင့် သင် တို့သည်အလွန်ဝမ်းနည်း ခြင်းသို့ ရောက် ကြ၏။

7 But I'm telling you the truth: it's better for you that I go away, for if I don't the Comforter won't come to you. If I go away, I will send him to you.

၇ငါ အမှန်အကန် ဆို သည်ကား၊ ငါ သွား လျှင် သင် တို့အကျိုး ရှိလိမ့်မည်။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ငါမ သွား လျှင် ဥပဇ္ဈာယ် ဆရာသည် သင် တို့ဆီသို့ မ လာ ။ ငါသွား လျှင် ထိုသူ ကို သင် တို့ဆီသို့ ငါစေလွှတ် မည်။

8 When he comes, he will convince those in the world that they have wrong ideas regarding sin, about what is right, and about judgment:

၈ဥပဇ္ဈာယ် ဆရာသည် ရောက်လာ လျှင်၊ ဒုစရိုက် အပြစ်ကို၎င်း ၊ အပြစ် ကင်းခြင်းကို၎င်း ၊ အပြစ် စီရင်ခြင်းကို၎င်း၊ လောကီသား တို့အား ထင်ရှားစွာဘော်ပြ မည်။

9 Sin, for they don't trust in me.

၉ငါ့ ကို မ ယုံကြည် ကြသောကြောင့် ဒုစရိုက် အပြစ်ကို ဘော်ပြ မည်။

10 What is right, for I'm going to the Father and you won't see me any longer.

၁၀ငါသည် ခမည်းတော် ထံသို့ သွား မည်ဖြစ်၍ ၊ သင်တို့သည် နောက်တဖန်ငါ့ ကိုမ တွေ့ မမြင်ရသောကြောင့် ၊ အပြစ် ကင်းခြင်းကို ဖော်ပြမည်။

11 Judgment, for the ruler of this world has been condemned.

၁၁ဤ လောက ကို အစိုးရ သောမင်းသည် အပြစ်စီရင် ခြင်းကိုခံရသောကြောင့် အပြစ် စီရင်ခြင်းကို ဖော်ပြ မည်။

12 There's much more I want to explain to you, but you couldn't stand it now.

၁၂သင် တို့အား ငါ ပြော စရာစကားအများ ရှိသော်လည်း ၊ သင်တို့သည် ယခု မ ခံ နိုင် ကြ။

13 However, when the Spirit of truth comes, he will teach you the whole truth. He doesn't speak for himself, but he only says what he hears, and he will tell you what's going to happen.

၁၃သမ္မာတရား နှင့်ပြည့်စုံသော ထို ဝိညာဉ် တော်သည် ရောက်လာ သောအခါ ၊ သမ္မာတရား ကို သင် တို့အား အကြွင်းမဲ့ သွန်သင် ပြလိမ့်မည်။ ထိုဝိညာဉ်တော်သည် ကိုယ်အလိုအလျောက် ဟောပြော မည်မ ဟုတ်။ ကြား သမျှ တို့ကို ဟောပြော လိမ့်မည်။ နောင်လာ လတံ့သောအရာ တို့ကိုလည်း သင်တို့အား ဖော်ပြ လိမ့်မည်။

14 He brings me glory for he teaches you whatever he receives from me.

၁၄ထိုသူ သည် ငါ့ ဘုန်း ကိုထင်ရှားစေလိမ့်မည်။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ငါ နှင့်စပ်ဆိုင် သောအရာကိုယူ ၍ သင် တို့အား ဖော်ပြ လိမ့်မည်။

15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. This is why I said that the Spirit teaches you whatever he receives from me.

၁၅ခမည်းတော် နှင့်စပ်ဆိုင် သမျှ သည် ငါ နှင့်စပ်ဆိုင်၏။ ထိုကြောင့် ငါ နှင့်စပ်ဆိုင် သောအရာကိုယူ ၍ သင်တို့အားဖော်ပြ လိမ့်မည်ဟု ငါပြော ၏။

16 In a little while you won't see me anymore, but then a little while after that you will see me.”

၁၆ခဏ ကြာပြီးမှသင်တို့သည်ငါ့ ကိုမ မြင် ရကြ။ တစ်ဖန် ခဏ ကြာပြီးမှ ငါ့ ကိုမြင် ပြန်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ငါသည်ခမည်းတော်ထံသို့သွားမည် ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

17 Some of his disciples said to one another, “What does he mean, ‘In a little while you won't see me, but a little while after that you will see me’? and ‘For I'm going to the Father’?”

၁၇တပည့် တော်အချို့ ကလည်း ၊ ခဏ ကြာပြီးမှ သင်တို့သည်ငါ့ ကို မ မြင် ရကြ။ တစ်ဖန် ခဏ ကြာပြီးမှ ငါ့ ကို မြင် ပြန်ကြလိမ့်မည်ဟူ၍၎င်း ၊ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ငါသည် ခမည်းတော် ထံသို့ သွား မည် ဟူ၍၎င်း၊ မိန့်တော်မူသောစကား သည် အဘယ်သို့ နည်း။

18 They were asking, “What does he mean by ‘in a little while’? We don't know what he's talking about.”

၁၈ခဏ ဟူ၍မိန့်တော်မူသော် အဘယ်သို့ ဆိုလိုသနည်း မိန့် တော်မူသောစကားကို အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် နား မ လည်ဟု အချင်းချင်းပြောဆို ကြ၏။

19 Jesus realized that they wanted to ask him about this. So he asked them, “Are you wondering about my comment, ‘In a little while you won't see me, but a little while after that you will see me’?

၁၉တပည့်တော်တို့သည်မေးလျှောက် လို သည်ကို ယေရှု သိမြင် တော်မူလျှင်၊ ခဏ ကြာပြီးမှ သင်တို့သည် ငါ့ ကိုမ မြင် ရကြ။ တစ်ဖန် ခဏ ကြာပြီးမှ ငါ့ ကိုမြင် ပြန်ကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု ငါပြော သောစကားကို သင်တို့သည် အချင်းချင်း ဆင်ခြင် ကြသလော။

20 I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn, but the world will rejoice. You will grieve, but your grief will turn into joy.

၂၀ငါအမှန်အကန် ဆို သည်ကား၊ သင် တို့သည် ငိုကြွေး မြည်တမ်း ခြင်းရှိကြလိမ့်မည်။ လောကီသား တို့သည် ဝမ်းမြောက် ခြင်းရှိကြလိမ့်မည်။ သင် တို့မူကား ဝမ်းနည်း ခြင်းရှိသော်လည်း ထိုဝမ်းနည်း ခြင်းသည် တဖန် ဝမ်းမြောက် ခြင်းဖြစ် လိမ့်မည်။

21 A woman in labor suffers pain because her time has come, but once the baby is born, she forgets the agony because of the joy that a child has been brought into the world.

၂၁မိန်းမ သည်သားကို ဘွား စဉ်အခါ ဘွားရသောအချိန် စေ့ သောကြောင့် ဝမ်းနည်း ခြင်းရှိ ၏။ ဘွားမြင် ပြီးမှဤလောက ၌ လူ တစ်ယောက်ကိုဘွားမြင် သောကြောင့် ဝမ်းမြောက် ခြင်းရှိ၍၊ အထက်ခံရသောဝေဒနာ ကို မေ့လျော့ တတ်၏။

22 Yes, you're grieving now, but I will see you again; and you will rejoice, and no one can take away your joy.

၂၂ထိုနည်းတူ၊ ယခု တွင် သင် တို့သည် ဝမ်းနည်း ခြင်းရှိ ကြသော်လည်း ၊ နောက် တဖန်သင် တို့ကို ငါတွေ့မြင် သဖြင့် သင် တို့သည်စိတ် နှလုံးဝမ်းမြောက် ခြင်း ရှိကြလိမ့်မည်။ ထိုဝမ်းမြောက် ခြင်းကို အဘယ်သူ မျှလုယူဖျက်ဆီးခြင်းငှာမတတ်နိုင်။

23 When that time comes you won't need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.

၂၃ထို နေ့ ၌ သင်တို့သည် ငါ့ ကိုအလျှင်း မ မေးမြန်း ရကြ။ ငါအမှန်အကန် ဆို သည်ကား၊ သင် တို့သည်ငါ ၏ နာမ ကိုအမှီပြု ၍ ခမည်းတော် မှာ ဆုတောင်း သမျှ တို့ကို ခမည်းတော်သည် ပေး တော်မူမည်။

24 Until now you haven't asked for anything in my name, so ask and you shall receive, and your happiness will be complete.

၂၄ယခု တိုင်အောင် ငါ ၏နာမ ကိုအမှီပြု ၍ သင်တို့သည် အဘယ် ဆုကိုမျှမ တောင်း ကြသေး။ သင် တို့သည် ဝမ်းမြောက် စရာအကြောင်း စုံလင် စေခြင်းငှာတောင်း ကြလော့။ ထိုသို့တောင်းလျှင် ရ ကြလိမ့်မည်။

25 I've been talking to you using picture language. But soon I won't use such picture language any more when I speak to you. Instead I'll explain the Father to you very plainly.

၂၅ဤ အရာတို့ကို ပုံ ဥပမာအားဖြင့် ငါဟောပြော ၏။ ပုံ ဥပမာအားဖြင့် မ ဟော မပြောဘဲ၊ ခမည်းတော် နှင့် စပ်ဆိုင် သောအရာတို့ကို သင်တို့အားအတည့်အလင်း ဖော်ပြ သောအချိန် ကာလ ရောက် လိမ့်မည်။

26 At that time you will ask in my name. I'm not saying to you that I will plead with the Father on your behalf,

၂၆ထို ကာလ ၌ သင်တို့သည် ငါ ၏နာမ ကိုအမှီပြု ၍ ဆုတောင်း ကြလိမ့်မည်။ သင် တို့အဘို့ အလိုငှာ ငါ သည် ခမည်းတော် ကို တောင်း မည်ဟုမ ဆို ။

27 for the Father himself loves you—because you love me and believe that I came from God.

၂၇အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ သင် တို့သည်ငါ့ ကိုချစ် ကြ၍ ၊ ငါ သည်ဘုရားသခင် အထံ တော်မှ ကြွလာ သည်ကို ယုံကြည် သောကြောင့် ခမည်းတော် သည် ကိုယ်တော် တိုင် သင် တို့ကိုချစ် တော်မူ၏။

28 I left the Father and came into the world; now I leave the world and return to my Father.”

၂၈ငါသည် ခမည်းတော် ထံမှ ထွက် ၍ ဤလောက သို့ ကြွလာ ပြီ။ တစ်ဖန် ဤလောက မှထွက် ၍ ခမည်းတော် ထံသို့ သွား ဦးမည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။

29 Then the disciples said, “Now you're talking very plainly and not using picture language.

၂၉တပည့် တော်တို့ကလည်း၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ယခု တွင်ပုံ ဥပမာကိုမ ဆောင်ဘဲ အတည့်အလင်း ဟောပြော တော်မူ၏။

30 Now we're certain that you know everything, and that in order to know what questions people are thinking you don't need to ask them. This convinces us that you came from God.”

၃၀အလုံးစုံ တို့ကို သိ တော်မူသည်ကို၎င်း ၊ အဘယ်သူ မျှကိုယ်တော် ကို မေးမြန်း စေခြင်းငှာ အလို တော်မ ရှိ သည်ကို၎င်း၊ ယခု တွင် အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သိ ကြပါ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ဤ အကြောင်းကိုထောက်၍ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ဘုရားသခင် အထံတော်မှ ကြွ တော်မူသည်ကို ယုံ ပါသည်ဟု လျှောက် ကြ၏။

31 “Are you really convinced now?” Jesus asked.

၃၁ယေရှု ကလည်း၊ ယခု တွင်ယုံ ကြပြီလော။

32 “The time is coming—in fact it's just about to happen—when you will be scattered, each of you to your own homes, leaving me all alone. But I'm not really alone, for the Father is with me.

၃၂သင်တို့သည် ကွဲပြား ၍ ငါ့ ကိုတကိုယ်တည်း နေစေခြင်းငှာ စွန့်ပစ် လျက်၊ အသီးသီး မိမိ တို့နေရာ သို့ ပြေးသွားမည့်အချိန် ကာလသည် လာ ၍ ယခုပင်ရောက် ပေ၏။ သို့သော်လည်း ငါသည်တကိုယ်တည်း နေ သည် မ ဟုတ်။ ခမည်းတော် သည်ငါ နှင့်အတူ ရှိ တော်မူ၏။

33 I've told you all this so that you may have peace because you are one with me. You will suffer in this world, but be brave—I have defeated the world!”

၃၃သင် တို့သည် ငါ့ ကိုအမှီပြု ၍ ငြိမ်သက် ခြင်းရှိ စေခြင်းငှာ ဤ စကားကိုငါဟောပြော ပြီ။ သင်တို့သည် လောက ၌ ဆင်းရဲ ဒုက္ခကိုခံ ကြရလိမ့်မည်။ သို့သော်လည်း မ စိုးရိမ်ကြနှင့်။ ငါ သည်လောက ကိုအောင် ပြီ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
