< John 16 >
1 I've told you this so you won't give up your trust in me.
Nalobi na bino makambo oyo nyonso mpo ete bokweya te na komekama to mpo ete kondima na bino ekweya te.
2 They will expel you from the synagogues—in fact the time is coming when those who kill you will think they are doing God a service.
Pamba te bakobengana bino na bandako ya mayangani; mpe tango elingi kutu kokoka, tango oyo moto nyonso oyo akoboma bino akokanisa ete, wana azali kosala bongo, azali kobonzela Nzambe mbeka.
3 They'll do this because they have never known the Father or me. I've told you this so that when these things happen, you'll remember what I told you.
Bakosala bongo mpo ete batikalaki koyeba te ezala Tata to ngai.
4 I didn't need to tell you this right at the beginning because I was going to be with you.
Namiyebiseli bino makambo wana nyonso mpo ete, soki tango yango ekoki, bokanisa ete Ngai nasilaki koyebisa bino yango. Nayebisaki bino yango te wuta na ebandeli, mpo ete nazalaki nanu elongo na bino.
5 But now I'm going to the one who sent me, and yet not one of you is asking me, ‘Where are you going?’
Sik’oyo, nazali kokende epai na Ye oyo atindaki Ngai, mpe moko te kati na bino azali kotuna Ngai: « Ozali kokende wapi? »
6 Of course, now that I've told you, you're full of grief.
Kasi mpo ete nalobi na bino bongo, mawa etondi kati na mitema na bino.
7 But I'm telling you the truth: it's better for you that I go away, for if I don't the Comforter won't come to you. If I go away, I will send him to you.
Nzokande, nalobi na Ngai kaka bosolo. Ezali penza mpo na bolamu na bino ete Ngai nakende; pamba te soki nakeyi te, Molobeli akoya te epai na bino; kasi soki nakeyi, nakotindela bino Ye.
8 When he comes, he will convince those in the world that they have wrong ideas regarding sin, about what is right, and about judgment:
Bongo tango akoya, akotalisa bato ya mokili na tina na lisumu, na tina na bosembo mpe na tina na kosambisama:
9 Sin, for they don't trust in me.
na tina na lisumu, pamba te bandimaka Ngai te;
10 What is right, for I'm going to the Father and you won't see me any longer.
na tina na bosembo, pamba te nakeyi epai ya Tata, mpe bokomona Ngai lisusu te;
11 Judgment, for the ruler of this world has been condemned.
na tina na kosambisama, pamba te mokonzi ya mokili oyo asili kosambisama.
12 There's much more I want to explain to you, but you couldn't stand it now.
Nazali lisusu na makambo mingi ya koyebisa bino, kasi bokokoka kososola yango te sik’oyo.
13 However, when the Spirit of truth comes, he will teach you the whole truth. He doesn't speak for himself, but he only says what he hears, and he will tell you what's going to happen.
Tango akoya, Molimo ya bosolo, akotambolisa bino kati na bosolo nyonso; pamba te akoloba te makambo kowuta na Ye moko, kasi akoloba kaka makambo nyonso oyo akoyoka, mpe akoyebisa bino makambo oyo ekoya;
14 He brings me glory for he teaches you whatever he receives from me.
akomonisa nkembo na Ngai, pamba te akozwa makambo kowuta epai na Ngai mpe akoyebisa bino yango.
15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. This is why I said that the Spirit teaches you whatever he receives from me.
Nyonso oyo ezali ya Tata ezali mpe ya Ngai; yango wana nalobi ete akozwa makambo kowuta epai na Ngai mpe akoyebisa bino yango.
16 In a little while you won't see me anymore, but then a little while after that you will see me.”
Etikali mwa tango moke mpo ete bomona Ngai lisusu te; mpe sima na mwa tango, bokomona Ngai lisusu.
17 Some of his disciples said to one another, “What does he mean, ‘In a little while you won't see me, but a little while after that you will see me’? and ‘For I'm going to the Father’?”
Ndambo ya bayekoli ya Yesu bakomaki komituna: — Yesu alingi penza koyebisa biso nini na maloba oyo: « Etikali mwa tango moke mpo ete bomona Ngai lisusu te; mpe sima na mwa tango, bokomona Ngai lisusu » mpe « nazali kokende epai ya Tata? »
18 They were asking, “What does he mean by ‘in a little while’? We don't know what he's talking about.”
Bamitunaki lisusu: — Alingi kotalisa nini tango alobi: « Etikali mwa tango moke? » Tozali kososola te ndimbola to tina na yango.
19 Jesus realized that they wanted to ask him about this. So he asked them, “Are you wondering about my comment, ‘In a little while you won't see me, but a little while after that you will see me’?
Wana Yesu asosolaki ete balingi kotuna Ye motuna, alobaki na bango: — Boni, bozali solo na posa ya koyeba tina ya maloba na Ngai oyo: « Etikali mwa tango moke mpo ete bomona Ngai lisusu te; mpe sima na mwa tango, bokomona Ngai lisusu? »
20 I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn, but the world will rejoice. You will grieve, but your grief will turn into joy.
Nazali koloba na bino penza ya solo: wana bino bokozala kolela mpe komitungisa, mokili ekosepela; bokozala solo na mawa, kasi mawa na bino ekobongwana esengo.
21 A woman in labor suffers pain because her time has come, but once the baby is born, she forgets the agony because of the joy that a child has been brought into the world.
Na tango ya kobota, mwasi ayokaka pasi makasi, pamba te eleko ya kobimisa mwana wuta kati na libumu na ye ekoki; kasi soki kaka aboti, abosanaka pasi nyonso oyo amonaki, mpo na esengo oyo atondaka na yango mpo ete aboti moto.
22 Yes, you're grieving now, but I will see you again; and you will rejoice, and no one can take away your joy.
Bino mpe ndenge moko, bozali sik’oyo na mawa; kasi tango nakomona bino lisusu, mitema na bino ekotonda na esengo, mpe moto ata moko te akokoka kolongola bino esengo yango.
23 When that time comes you won't need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.
Na mokolo yango, bokopesa Ngai lisusu ata motuna moko te. Nazali koloba na bino penza ya solo: Tata akopesa bino nyonso oyo bokosenga Ye na Kombo na Ngai.
24 Until now you haven't asked for anything in my name, so ask and you shall receive, and your happiness will be complete.
Kino sik’oyo, bosengi nanu eloko moko te na Kombo na Ngai. Bosenga, mpe bokozwa, mpo ete esengo na bino ezala ya kokoka.
25 I've been talking to you using picture language. But soon I won't use such picture language any more when I speak to you. Instead I'll explain the Father to you very plainly.
Nalobaki na bino makambo wana nyonso na masese; kasi tango ezali koya, tango oyo nakoloba na bino lisusu na masese te, kasi tango oyo nakoyebisa bino na polele penza makambo oyo etali Tata.
26 At that time you will ask in my name. I'm not saying to you that I will plead with the Father on your behalf,
Na mokolo wana, bokosenga na Kombo na Ngai. Nazali koloba na bino te ete nakosengela bino epai ya Tata.
27 for the Father himself loves you—because you love me and believe that I came from God.
Ye moko Tata alingaka bino, pamba te bolingaka Ngai mpe bondimaki ete nawutaki epai na Nzambe.
28 I left the Father and came into the world; now I leave the world and return to my Father.”
Solo, nawutaki epai ya Tata mpe nayaki kati na mokili; mpe sik’oyo, nazali kotika mokili mpe nazali kozonga epai ya Tata.
29 Then the disciples said, “Now you're talking very plainly and not using picture language.
Bayekoli ya Yesu balobaki: — Okomi sik’oyo koloba na biso na polele mpe otiki koloba na masese!
30 Now we're certain that you know everything, and that in order to know what questions people are thinking you don't need to ask them. This convinces us that you came from God.”
Tososoli sik’oyo ete oyebi nyonso, mpe ete ozali na posa te ete bapesa Yo mituna. Mpo na yango, tondimi solo ete owutaki epai ya Nzambe.
31 “Are you really convinced now?” Jesus asked.
Yesu azongiselaki bango: — Bondimi sik’oyo?
32 “The time is coming—in fact it's just about to happen—when you will be scattered, each of you to your own homes, leaving me all alone. But I'm not really alone, for the Father is with me.
Kasi boyeba malamu ete tango ezali koya, mpe esili kokoka, tango oyo bokopanzana na bangambo nyonso, moto na moto na ngambo na ye, mpe oyo bokotika Ngai, Ngai moko. Kasi nazali Ngai moko te, pamba te Tata azali elongo na Ngai.
33 I've told you all this so that you may have peace because you are one with me. You will suffer in this world, but be brave—I have defeated the world!”
Nasengelaki koloba na bino bongo mpo ete bozala na kimia kati na Ngai. Kati na mokili, bozali solo komona pasi; kasi boyika mpiko, nalongi mokili.
