Job 37
1 At this my heart trembles, beating rapidly within me!
ഇതിനാൽ എന്റെ ഹൃദയം വിറെച്ചു തന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു പാളിപ്പോകുന്നു.
2 Listen carefully to God's thunderous voice that rumbles as he speaks.
അവന്റെ നാദത്തിന്റെ മുഴക്കവും അവന്റെ വായിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുന്ന ഗൎജ്ജനവും ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചുകേൾപ്പിൻ.
3 He sends it across the heaven; his lightning flashes to the ends of the earth.
അവൻ അതു ആകാശത്തിൻ കീഴിലൊക്കെയും അതിന്റെ മിന്നൽ ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റത്തോളവും അയക്കുന്നു.
4 Then comes the roar of thunder, his majestic voice holding nothing back when he speaks.
അതിന്റെ പിന്നാലെ ഒരു മുഴക്കം കേൾക്കുന്നു; അവൻ തന്റെ മഹിമാനാദംകൊണ്ടു ഇടിമുഴക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ നാദം കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ അവയെ തടുക്കുന്നില്ല.
5 God's thunderous voice is wonderful! We can't comprehend the great things he does!
ദൈവം തന്റെ നാദം അതിശയമായി മുഴക്കുന്നു; നമുക്കു ഗ്രഹിച്ചുകൂടാത്ത മഹാകാൎയ്യങ്ങളെ ചെയ്യുന്നു.
6 He tells the snow to fall and the rain to pour down on the earth.
അവൻ ഹിമത്തോടു: ഭൂമിയിൽ പെയ്യുക എന്നു കല്പിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ മഴയോടും വമ്പിച്ച പെരുമഴയോടും കല്പിക്കുന്നു.
7 By this he stops people working so that everyone can understand what he does.
താൻ സൃഷ്ടിച്ച മനുഷ്യരൊക്കെയും അറിവാന്തക്കവണ്ണം അവൻ സകലമനുഷ്യരുടെയും കൈ മുദ്രയിടുന്നു.
8 Even the animals take shelter and remain in their dens.
കാട്ടുമൃഗം ഒളിവിടത്തു ചെന്നു തന്റെ ഗുഹയിൽ കിടക്കുന്നു.
9 The south wind blows in storms, while the north wind blows in cold weather.
ദക്ഷിണമണ്ഡലത്തിൽനിന്നു കൊടുങ്കാറ്റും ഉത്തരദിക്കിൽനിന്നു കുളിരും വരുന്നു.
10 God's breath produces ice, freezing the surface of water solid.
ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ശ്വാസംകൊണ്ടു നീൎക്കട്ട ഉളവാകുന്നു; വെള്ളങ്ങളുടെ വിശാലത ഉറെച്ചു പോകുന്നു.
11 He fills the clouds with moisture; he scatters his lightning from them.
അവൻ കാൎമ്മേഘത്തെ ഈറംകൊണ്ടു കനപ്പിക്കുന്നു; തന്റെ മിന്നലുള്ള മേഘത്തെ പരത്തുന്നു.
12 They swirl around under his control; they move over all the earth as he commands.
അവൻ അവയോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും ഭൂമിയുടെ ഉപരിഭാഗത്തു ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്റെ ആദേശപ്രകാരം അവ ചുറ്റി സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു.
13 He does this to accomplish his will, either to discipline or to show his goodness.
ശിക്ഷെക്കായിട്ടോ ദേശത്തിന്റെ നന്മെക്കായിട്ടോ ദയെക്കായിട്ടോ അവൻ അതു വരുത്തുന്നു.
14 Listen to this, Job! Stop for a moment and consider the wonderful things God does.
ഇയ്യോബേ, ഇതു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചുകൊൾക; മിണ്ടാതിരുന്നു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ചിന്തിച്ചുകൊൾക.
15 Do you know how God controls the clouds, or makes his lightning flash from them?
ദൈവം അവെക്കു കല്പന കൊടുക്കുന്നതും തന്റെ മേഘത്തിലെ മിന്നൽ പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കുന്നതും എങ്ങനെ എന്നു നീ അറിയുന്നുവോ?
16 Do you know how clouds float in the sky—the wonderful work of him who knows everything.
മേഘങ്ങളുടെ ആക്കത്തൂക്കവും ജ്ഞാനസമ്പൂൎണ്ണനായവന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും നീ അറിയുന്നുവോ?
17 You know how your clothes drip with sweat when the south wind brings air that is hot and heavy.
തെന്നിക്കാറ്റുകൊണ്ടു ഭൂമി അനങ്ങാതിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ നിന്റെ വസ്ത്രത്തിന്നു ചൂടുണ്ടാകുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ?
18 Can you hammer out the sky so it becomes like a molten mirror, as he does?
ലോഹദൎപ്പണംപോലെ ഉറപ്പുള്ള ആകാശത്തെ നിനക്കു അവനോടുകൂടെ വിടൎത്തു വെക്കാമോ?
19 So why don't you teach us what to tell God? We cannot make our case because we are in the dark!
അവനോടു എന്തു പറയേണമെന്നു ഞങ്ങൾക്കു ഉപദേശിച്ചു തരിക; അന്ധകാരം നിമിത്തം ഞങ്ങൾക്കു ഒന്നും പ്രസ്താവിപ്പാൻ കഴിവില്ല.
20 Should God be told that I want to speak? Anyone who wanted to would be destroyed!
എനിക്കു സംസാരിക്കേണം എന്നു അവനോടു ബോധിപ്പിക്കേണമോ? നാശത്തിന്നിരയായ്തീരുവാൻ ആരാനും ഇച്ഛിക്കുമോ?
21 After all, we can't look at the sun when it blazes brightly in the sky, after the wind has cleared away the clouds.
ഇപ്പോൾ ആകാശത്തിൽ വെളിച്ചം ശോഭിക്കുന്നതു കാണുന്നില്ല; എങ്കിലും കാറ്റു കടന്നു അതിനെ തെളിവാക്കുന്നു.
22 Out of the north God comes shining like gold, surrounded in awesome majesty.
വടക്കുനിന്നു സ്വൎണ്ണശോഭപോലെ വരുന്നു; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ചുറ്റും ഭയങ്കര തേജസ്സുണ്ടു.
23 We cannot approach the Almighty for he is far beyond us in power and justice, and doing right.
സൎവ്വശക്തനെയോ നാം കണ്ടെത്തുകയില്ല; അവൻ ശക്തിയിൽ അത്യുന്നതനാകുന്നു; അവൻ ന്യായത്തിന്നും പൂൎണ്ണനീതിക്കും ഭംഗം വരുത്തുന്നില്ല.
24 He does not act like a tyrant—no wonder people are in awe of him, though he does not value those who think they're wise.”
അതുകൊണ്ടു മനുഷ്യർ അവനെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു; ജ്ഞാനികളെന്നു ഭാവിക്കുന്നവരെ അവൻ കടാക്ഷിക്കുന്നില്ല.
