Job 36
1 Elihu continued speaking.
എലീഹൂ പിന്നെയും ഇപ്രകാരം പറഞ്ഞു:
2 “Be patient with me just a little while longer and let me explain. I still have something to say on God's behalf.
“എന്നോടൊരൽപ്പംകൂടി ക്ഷമിക്കുക; ദൈവത്തിനുവേണ്ടി ഇനിയും സംസാരിക്കാനുണ്ടെന്നു ഞാൻ നിനക്കു കാട്ടിത്തരാം.
3 I will share my extensive knowledge, and I will prove my Creator is in the right.
ഞാൻ ദൂരത്തുനിന്ന് എന്റെ അറിവു കൊണ്ടുവരും; എന്റെ സ്രഷ്ടാവ് നീതിമാൻ എന്നു തെളിയിക്കും.
4 I assure you that what I'm saying are not lies, for I am a man whose knowledge is of the highest order.
വാസ്തവമായും എന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ വ്യാജമല്ല; ജ്ഞാനത്തിൽ പരിപൂർണനായവനാണ് നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ നിൽക്കുന്നത്.
5 God is mighty, but doesn't despise anyone; he is powerful in strength and understanding.
“ദൈവം ശക്തനാണ്, എന്നാൽ അവിടന്ന് ആരെയും നിന്ദിക്കുകയില്ല; തന്റെ നിർണയത്തിൽ അവിടന്ന് ശക്തനും അചഞ്ചലനുമാണ്.
6 He does not keep the wicked alive, but gives justice to the oppressed.
അവിടന്നു ദുഷ്ടരെ ജീവിക്കാൻ അനുവദിക്കുകയില്ല എന്നാൽ പീഡിതർക്ക് അവരുടെ അവകാശങ്ങൾ നൽകുന്നു.
7 He always pays attention those who do right, and places them on thrones with kings, honoring them eternally.
നീതിനിഷ്ഠരിൽനിന്ന് അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടി പിൻവലിക്കുന്നില്ല; അവിടന്ന് അവരെ രാജാക്കന്മാരോടൊപ്പം സിംഹാസനാരൂഢരാക്കുകയും എന്നെന്നേക്കുമായി ഉയർത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
8 If they are bound in chains, tied down by ropes of suffering,
എന്നാൽ മനുഷ്യർ ചങ്ങലകളാൽ ബന്ധിതരായി ദുരിതങ്ങളുടെ ചരടുകളാൽ പിടിക്കപ്പെട്ടാൽ
9 then he explains to them what they've done—their arrogant sins.
അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയും അവർ അഹങ്കാരംനിമിത്തം ചെയ്തുപോയ പാപങ്ങളും അവർക്കു കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നു.
10 He makes them pay attention and orders them to stop sinning.
തെറ്റുകൾ തിരുത്തുന്നതിനായി അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെ കാതുകൾ തുറക്കുന്നു; തിന്മയിൽനിന്ന് മടങ്ങിവരാൻ അവരോട് ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്നു.
11 If they listen and do what God says they will live out their lives in happiness.
അവർ അതുകേട്ട് അവിടത്തെ സേവിച്ചാൽ തങ്ങളുടെ ശിഷ്ടകാലം ഐശ്വര്യത്തിൽ ജീവിക്കും അവരുടെ സംവത്സരങ്ങൾ സംതൃപ്തിയോടെ പൂർത്തിയാക്കും.
12 But if they do not listen they will die a violent death, ignorant of God.
ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കിലോ, അവർ വാളാൽ നശിച്ചുപോകും, പരിജ്ഞാനംകൂടാതെ മരണമടയും.
13 Those who reject God hold on to their bitterness. Even when he disciplines them they do not cry out to him for help.
“അഭക്തർ തങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ കോപം സംഗ്രഹിച്ചുവെക്കുന്നു; അവിടന്ന് അവരെ ചങ്ങലയ്ക്കിടുമ്പോഴും അവർ സഹായത്തിനായി നിലവിളിക്കുന്നില്ല.
14 They die in their youth; their lives end among the male temple prostitutes.
ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിലെ പുരുഷവേശ്യകളോടൊപ്പം അവരും യൗവനത്തിൽത്തന്നെ മരിക്കുന്നു.
15 Through suffering God saves those who suffer; he gets their attention through their troubles.
അവിടന്നു പീഡിതരെ തങ്ങളുടെ പീഡയിൽനിന്ന് വിടുവിക്കുന്നു; അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ അവരോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.
16 God is trying to rescue you from the jaws of trouble to a place of freedom and safety, filling your table full of the very best food.
“അങ്ങനെതന്നെ താങ്കളെയും അവിടന്ന് ഞെരുക്കത്തിന്റെ വായിൽനിന്ന് വിശാലതയിലേക്ക്; വിശിഷ്ടഭോജ്യത്താൽ സമൃദ്ധമായ മേശയിലേക്കുതന്നെ ആഹ്വാനംചെയ്യുന്നു.
17 But you are preoccupied with the fate of the wicked; judgment and justice fill your mind.
താങ്കളോ, ദുഷ്ടരെ വിധിക്കുന്നതിൽ മുഴുകിയിരിക്കുന്നു; വിധികൽപ്പനയും ന്യായവാദവും താങ്കളെ പിടിച്ചടക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
18 But be careful that your anger doesn't seduce you into mockery; and don't let the size of the ‘bribe’ lead you into sin.
ആരും താങ്കളെ സമ്പത്തുകൊണ്ട് പ്രലോഭിപ്പിക്കാതിരിക്കാൻ ജാഗ്രതപുലർത്തുക; കൈക്കൂലിയുടെ വലുപ്പം താങ്കളെ വഴിതെറ്റിക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ.
19 Will your cry for help sustain you when troubles come?
താങ്കൾ ദുരിതത്തിൽ അകപ്പെടാതെ പരിപാലിക്കുന്നതിന് താങ്കളുടെ സമ്പത്തിനോ അതിശയകരമായ പ്രയത്നങ്ങൾക്കോ കഴിയുമോ?
20 Do not long for the night when people are suddenly taken away.
ജനങ്ങളെ തങ്ങളുടെ ഭവനങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു വലിച്ചിഴയ്ക്കുന്ന രാത്രിക്കായി താങ്കൾ മോഹിക്കരുത്.
21 Watch out that you don't turn to evil! For it's because of this that you are being tested through suffering.
അനീതിയിലേക്കു തിരിയാതിരിക്കാൻ സൂക്ഷിക്കുക, പീഡനത്തെക്കാൾ അതിനോടാണല്ലോ താങ്കൾക്ക് ആഭിമുഖ്യം.
22 Look how much power God has! What teacher is like him?
“നോക്കൂ, ദൈവം ശക്തിയിൽ എത്ര ഉന്നതനാകുന്നു; അവിടത്തെപ്പോലെ ഒരു ഗുരു ആരാണ്?
23 Who has instructed him what to do? Who can say to him ‘You have done wrong’?
അവിടത്തേക്ക് മാർഗനിർദേശം നൽകിയവൻ ആരാണ്? ‘അങ്ങു തെറ്റ് ചെയ്തു,’ എന്ന് ആർക്ക് അവിടത്തോട് പറയാൻകഴിയും?
24 Instead you should praise him for what he has done, as people have done in song.
മനുഷ്യർ പാടി പ്രകീർത്തിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള അവിടത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തി, മഹിമപ്പെടുത്താൻ മറക്കാതിരിക്കുക.
25 Everyone has seen God's creation, though only from a distance.
സകലമനുഷ്യരും അതു കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്; മനുഷ്യർ ദൂരത്തുനിന്ന് അത് ഉറ്റുനോക്കും.
26 See how great God is—more than we can understand! No one can count his years.
ദൈവം എത്രയോ ഉന്നതൻ—നമ്മുടെ സകലവിവേകത്തിനും അതീതൻ! അവിടത്തെ സംവത്സരങ്ങൾ നമ്മുടെ ഗണനയിൽ ഒതുങ്ങുന്നുമില്ല.
27 He draws up the water and distils it into the dew and the rain.
“അവിടന്നു നീർത്തുള്ളികളെ സംഭരിക്കുന്നു; അവ നീരാവിയായി മഴപൊഴിക്കുന്നു.
28 The clouds pour down rain, falling plentifully on humankind.
മേഘങ്ങൾ ഘനീഭവിച്ച് മഴപൊഴിക്കുന്നു; മനുഷ്യന്റെമേൽ അതു സമൃദ്ധമായി വർഷിക്കുന്നു.
29 Can anyone understand how the clouds spread out, or how thunder roars from where he lives?
അവിടന്ന് മേഘങ്ങളെ എങ്ങനെ വിന്യസിക്കുന്നു എന്നും അവിടത്തെ കൂടാരത്തിൽനിന്ന് എങ്ങനെ ഇടിമുഴക്കുന്നു എന്നും ആർക്കു ഗ്രഹിക്കാൻ കഴിയും?
30 See how he scatters lightning around him, and covers the depths of the sea in darkness.
അവിടന്നു മിന്നൽപ്പിണർ തനിക്കുചുറ്റും എങ്ങനെ ചിതറിക്കുന്നു എന്നും സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ അടിത്തട്ടുകൾ എങ്ങനെ മൂടുന്നു എന്നും കാണുക.
31 By these actions he rules the people, he provides abundant food.
ഇപ്രകാരം അവിടന്നു ജനതകളെ ഭരിക്കുന്നു; ഭക്ഷണവും സമൃദ്ധമായി ദാനംചെയ്യുന്നു.
32 He holds lightning in his hands and commands where it should strike.
തന്റെ കൈകൾ അവിടന്നു മിന്നൽപ്പിണർകൊണ്ടു പൊതിയുന്നു; നിർദിഷ്ടലക്ഷ്യത്തിൽ പതിക്കാൻ അവിടന്ന് അതിനെ നിയോഗിക്കുന്നു.
33 Thunder declares his presence—even cattle know when a storm is coming.
അവിടത്തെ ഗർജനം കൊടുങ്കാറ്റിന്റെ ആഗമനം വിളിച്ചറിയിക്കുന്നു; കന്നുകാലികളും അതിന്റെ വരവിനെപ്പറ്റി അറിവു കൊടുക്കുന്നു.
