< Job 32 >

1 Job's three friends stopped responding to him because he kept on protesting his innocence.
Mgbe ahụ, ndị ikom atọ ndị a kwusịrị ịsa Job okwu ọbụla ọzọ nʼihi na ọ hụrụ onwe ya dịka onye ezi omume.
2 Then Elihu, the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram, grew angry. He was angry with Job for claiming he was right rather than God.
Ma oke iwe were Elihu nwa Barakel onye obodo Buz, si nʼikwu Ram megide Job nʼihi na ọ gụrụ onwe ya dịka onye ezi omume karịa Chineke.
3 Elihu was also angry at Job's three friends because they made it seem that God was wrong, because they had not been able to answer Job.
Iwe wekwara ya nʼebe mmadụ atọ ndị enyi Job nọ, nʼihi na ọ dịghị ebe ha hụtara Job dịka onye ụzọ ya na-ezighị ezi, ma ha gara nʼihu ịma ya ikpe.
4 Elihu had waited to for the other three to speak with Job since they were older than he was.
Ma ruo ugbu a, Elihu agwaghị Job okwu ọbụla nʼihi na ndị ọzọ bụ okenye nʼebe ọ nọ.
5 But when he saw that they could not answer Job, he grew very angry.
Ma mgbe ọ hụrụ na ndị ikom atọ ndị a enweghị okwu ọzọ ha ga-ekwu, nke a kpasuru ya iwe.
6 Elihu, the son of Barachel the Buzite, said, “I am young, and you are old, which is why I was reluctant to tell you what I know.
Ma Elihu nwa Barakel onye obodo Buz zara sị: “Abụ m nwantakịrị nʼọnụọgụgụ afọ m gbara, ma unu bụ ndị okenye; ọ bụ nke a mere m ji gbaa nkịtị nʼụjọ, hapụ ịgwa unu ihe m maara.
7 I told myself, ‘Those who are older should speak—those who are elderly should teach wisdom.’
Echere m nʼobi m sị, ‘Ọnụọgụgụ afọ ga-ekwu okwu; ọtụtụ afọ ka ọ dịkwara ikuzi amamihe.’
8 However, there is a spirit in human beings, the breath of the Almighty, that gives them understanding.
Ma ọ bụ mmụọ dị nʼime mmadụ, nkuume nke Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile na-enye nghọta.
9 It is not the old who are wise, or the elderly who know what is right.
Ọ bụghị naanị ndị okenye bụ ndị mara ihe, ọ bụkwaghị naanị ndị gbara ọtụtụ afọ bụ ndị na-aghọta ihe ziri ezi.
10 That's why I'm telling you to listen to me now—let me tell you what I know.
“Ya mere m na-asị, Geenụ m ntị; mụ onwe m ga-agwa unu ihe m ma.
11 Well, I waited to hear what you had to say, listening for your insights as you looked for the right words to speak.
Echeere m oge niile unu na-ekwu okwu, egere m ntị na ntụgharị uche unu, oge niile unu na-achọpụta okwu unu ga-ekwu.
12 I paid close attention to all of you, and none of you have proved Job wrong or answered his arguments.
Egere m nnọọ unu ntị, ma ọ dịghị onye nʼime unu nwerela ike gosi Job ụzọ o si jehie; ọ dịghị onye nʼime unu zaghachiri ịrụ ụka ya.
13 Don't say to yourselves, ‘We are so wise,’ for God will prove him wrong, not a human being.
Unu ekwula sị, ‘Anyị achọtala amamihe; ka Chineke na-abụghị mmadụ gosi ya mmehie ya.’
14 Job didn't line up his arguments against me, and I won't answer him the way you did.
Ma Job edozighị okwu ya nʼusoro megide m, ya mere agaghị m eji ịrụ ụka unu zaghachi ya.
15 You sit there speechless with nothing left to say.
“Ha adaala mba na-enweghị ihe ọzọ ha ga-ekwu; ike okwu agwụla ha.
16 Should I continue to wait since you're no longer talking, just standing there saying nothing?
M ga-echere, ugbu a ha deere duu, ugbu a ha guzo ebe ahụ na-enweghị ọsịsa?
17 No—now I'll give my answer too. I'll tell you what I know.
Mụ onwe m ga-ekwu uche m; ihe m maara ka mụ onwe m ga-ekwu,
18 I have so much to say I can't hold the words back!
nʼihi na okwu juru m ọnụ, ọ bụkwa mmụọ dị nʼime m na-akwagide m.
19 Inside I'm like fermenting wine all bottled up; like new wineskins ready to explode!
Nʼime m, adị m ka mmanya na-agbọ ụfụfụ a kwuchiri na karama, dịka karama akpụkpọ ọhụrụ dị njikere ịgbawa.
20 I have to speak before I burst; I will open my lips to answer him.
Aga m ekwurịrị okwu ka m sị nʼụzọ dị otu a chọta izuike; aga m emeghe egbugbere ọnụ m ma zaghachi.
21 I will not take sides, and I'm not going to flatter anyone.
Agaghị m ekpe mmadụ ọbụla ikpe mmegide maọbụ jaa mmadụ ọbụla mma nʼụzọ na-ezighị ezi.
22 I don't know how to flatter, and if I did my Creator would soon destroy me.
Nʼihi na ọ bụrụ na m bụ ọka nwere ire ụtọ nʼịja ihe na-ezighị ezi mma, Onye kere m ga-ewepụ m nʼoge na-adịghị anya.
