< Job 26 >

1 Job replied,
Na Hiob kasaa bio se,
2 “How helpful you have been to this feeble man that I am. How supportive you have been to the weak.
“Woaboa nea onni tumi! Woagye basa a enni ahoɔden!
3 What good advice you have given to this ignorant man, demonstrating you have so much wisdom.
Woatu nea onnim nyansa fo! Na woada nhumu pa ara adi!
4 Who helped you speak these words? Who inspired you to say such things?
Hena na ɔboaa wo ma wokaa saa nsɛm yi? Hena honhom na ɛkasa faa wo mu?
5 The dead tremble, those beneath the waters.
“Awufo wɔ ahoyeraw kɛse mu, wɔn a wɔwɔ nsu ase ne nea ɛte mu nyinaa.
6 Sheol lies naked before God, Abaddon is uncovered. (Sheol h7585)
Asaman da adagyaw Onyankopɔn anim; Ɔsɛe nso nni nkataso. (Sheol h7585)
7 He stretches the northern sky over empty space; he hangs the world on nothing.
Ɔtrɛw wim atifi fam kata nea ɛda mpan so; na ɔde asase sensɛn ohunu so.
8 He gathers the rain in his storm clouds which do not break under the weight.
Ɔbɔ nsu boa hyɛ ne omununkum mu, nanso nsu no mu duru ntumi mpae no.
9 He veils his throne; covering it with his clouds.
Ɔtrɛw ne omununkum mu de kata ɔsram ani.
10 On the surface of the waters he set a boundary; he set a limit dividing light from darkness.
Ɔhyɛ agyirae wɔ nsu so de to ɔhye wɔ hann ne sum ntam.
11 The pillars of heaven tremble; they shake with fear at his rebuke.
Ɔsoro nnyinaso wosow, na nʼanimka ma wɔn ho dwiriw wɔn.
12 He calmed the sea with his power; because he knew what to do he crushed Rahab.
Ɔde ne tumi wosow po ne nyansa mu, otwitwaa Rahab mu asinasin.
13 The breath of his voice made the heavens beautiful; with his hand he pierced the gliding serpent.
Ɔde ne home maa wim tewee; na ne nsa wɔɔ ɔwɔ a ɔrewea.
14 This is just a little of all he does—what we hear of him is hardly a whisper, so who can understand his thunderous power?”
Eyinom yɛ ne nnwuma kakraa bi; ne tumi kakraa bi kɛkɛ! Na hena na obetumi ate ne tumi mmubomu no ase?”
