Job 26
1 Job replied,
੧ਫੇਰ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ,
2 “How helpful you have been to this feeble man that I am. How supportive you have been to the weak.
੨“ਤੂੰ ਨਿਰਬਲ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਕੀਤੀ, ਅਤੇ ਬਲਹੀਣ ਬਾਂਹ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਬਚਾਇਆ!
3 What good advice you have given to this ignorant man, demonstrating you have so much wisdom.
੩ਤੂੰ ਬੁੱਧਹੀਣ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਅਤੇ ਖਰਾ ਗਿਆਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ!
4 Who helped you speak these words? Who inspired you to say such things?
੪ਤੂੰ ਕਿਸਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੱਸੀਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸ ਦੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ?
5 The dead tremble, those beneath the waters.
੫“ਬਹੁਤ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੇਠ ਕੰਬਦੇ ਹਨ!
੬ਅਧੋਲੋਕ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਨੰਗਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਨਰਕ ਬੇਪਰਦਾ ਹੈ। (Sheol h7585)
7 He stretches the northern sky over empty space; he hangs the world on nothing.
੭ਉਹ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇਸ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਲੀ ਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਫੈਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਹਾਰੇ ਦੇ ਲਟਕਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ!
8 He gathers the rain in his storm clouds which do not break under the weight.
੮ਉਹ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਘਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਬੱਦਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਫਟਦੇ।
9 He veils his throne; covering it with his clouds.
੯ਉਹ ਚੰਦਰਮਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਬੱਦਲ ਫੈਲਾ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਢੱਕ ਕੇ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
10 On the surface of the waters he set a boundary; he set a limit dividing light from darkness.
੧੦ਉਹ ਨੇ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਹੱਦ, ਚਾਨਣ ਅਤੇ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਦੀ ਹੱਦ ਤੱਕ ਠਹਿਰਾ ਰੱਖੀ ਹੈ।
11 The pillars of heaven tremble; they shake with fear at his rebuke.
੧੧ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਥੰਮ੍ਹ ਹਿੱਲਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਝਿੜਕੀ ਤੋਂ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ!
12 He calmed the sea with his power; because he knew what to do he crushed Rahab.
੧੨ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਲ ਤੋਂ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਛਾਲ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਬੁੱਧ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਹਬ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟਦਾ ਹੈ।
13 The breath of his voice made the heavens beautiful; with his hand he pierced the gliding serpent.
੧੩ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਅਕਾਸ਼-ਮੰਡਲ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਨੇ ਉੱਡਣੇ ਸੱਪ ਨੂੰ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਹੈ।
14 This is just a little of all he does—what we hear of him is hardly a whisper, so who can understand his thunderous power?”
੧੪ਵੇਖੋ, ਇਹ ਸਭ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਝਲਕ ਹੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਕਿੰਨੀ ਹੌਲੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ! ਫੇਰ ਕੌਣ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਦੀ ਗਰਜ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ?”
