< Jeremiah 39 >

1 In the tenth month of the ninth year of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and his whole army arrived at Jerusalem and besieged it.
Tango Sedesiasi, mokonzi ya Yuda, akokisaki mibu libwa na bokonzi, na sanza ya zomi, Nabukodonozori, mokonzi ya Babiloni, elongo na mampinga na ye nyonso, ayaki kobundisa Yelusalemi mpe azingelaki yango.
2 On the ninth day of the fourth month of the eleventh year of Zedekiah's reign, the city wall was broken through.
Tango Sedesiasi akokisaki mibu zomi na moko na bokonzi, na mokolo ya libwa ya sanza ya minei, lidusu moko efungwamaki kati na mir ya engumba.
3 All the officials of the king of Babylon came in and took over the city, making their headquarters at the Middle Gate. They were Nergal-sharezer of Samgar, Nebo-sarsekim the Rabsaris, Nergal-sharezer the Rabmag, and all the other officials of the king of Babylon.
Bakalaka nyonso ya mokonzi ya Babiloni bakotaki kati na engumba mpe bayaki kovanda na Ekuke ya kati-kati. Ezalaki Nerigali-Saretseri, Samigari-Nebu; Sarisekimi, mokonzi ya bakalaka ya lokumu; Nerigali-Saretseri, mokonzi ya liboso ya mampinga, mpe bakonzi mosusu ya basoda ya mokonzi ya Babiloni.
4 When Zedekiah king of Judah and all the defenders saw them there, they ran away. They escaped from the city during the night through the king's garden, passing through the gate between the two walls, and took the road to the Arabah.
Tango Sedesiasi, mokonzi ya Yuda, mpe basoda nyonso bamonaki bongo, bakimaki, babimaki na engumba butu-butu, na nzela ya elanga ya mokonzi, na Ekuke oyo ezali na kati-kati ya bamir mibale; bakendeki na nzela ya lubwaku ya Yordani.
5 But the Babylonian army chased after them and caught up with Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho. They captured him and brought him before Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he put him on trial and punished him.
Kasi basoda ya Babiloni balandaki bango mpe bakangaki Sedesiasi, na etando ya Jeriko; bazwaki ye mpe bamemaki ye na Ribila, kati na mokili ya Amati, epai ya Nabukodonozori, mokonzi ya Babiloni, oyo akatelaki ye etumbu.
6 The king of Babylon had Zedekiah's sons killed as Zedekiah watched, and he also executed all of Judah's leaders there in Riblah.
Kuna na Ribila, mokonzi ya Babiloni apesaki mitindo ete bakata, na miso na ye, mito ya bana mibali ya Sedesiasi mpe ya bankumu nyonso ya Yuda.
7 Then he had Zedekiah's eyes gouged out, and had him bound with bronze chains and taken away to Babylon.
Apesaki lisusu mitindo ete batobola miso ya Sedesiasi, bakanga ye minyololo ya bibende ya bronze mpo na komema ye na Babiloni.
8 The Babylonians burned down the king's palace and the people's houses, and they demolished Jerusalem's city walls.
Basoda ya Babiloni batumbaki ndako ya mokonzi mpe bandako ya bato, mpe babukaki bamir ya Yelusalemi.
9 Then Nebuzaradan the commander of the guard carried off to Babylon the rest of the people who had stayed in the city, together with those who had deserted and gone over to him.
Nebuzaradani, mokonzi ya bakengeli ya mokonzi, amemaki na bowumbu, na Babiloni, bato oyo batikalaki kati na engumba elongo na bato oyo bayaki komitika bango moko epai na ye, mpe bato mosusu.
10 But he left behind in the land of Judah some of the poorest people who didn't have any property. He gave them vineyards and fields at that time.
Kasi Nebuzaradani, mokonzi ya bakengeli ya mokonzi, atikaki kati na mokili ya Yuda, babola oyo bazalaki ata na eloko moko te; apesaki bango bilanga ya vino mpe bilanga.
11 Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had given orders to Nebuzaradan the commander of the guard regarding Jeremiah, saying,
Nzokande, Nabukodonozori, mokonzi ya Babiloni, apesaki mitindo oyo epai ya Nebuzaradani, mokonzi ya bakengeli ya mokonzi, na tina na mosakoli Jeremi:
12 “Go and get Jeremiah and watch out that nothing bad happens to him. Do whatever he wants.”
« Kamata ye, batela ye, kosala ye mabe te; kasi salela ye makambo nyonso oyo akosenga yo. »
13 So Nebuzaradan the commander of the guard, Nebushazban the Rabsaris, Nergal-sharezer the Rabmag, and all the army captains of the king of Babylon
Boye, Nebuzaradani, mokonzi ya bakengeli ya mokonzi; Nebutsasibani, mokonzi ya bakalaka ya lokumu; Nerigali-Saretseri, mokonzi ya liboso ya mampinga, mpe bakonzi nyonso ya basoda ya mokonzi ya Babiloni
14 took Jeremiah from the guard's courtyard, and they handed him over to Gedaliah son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, to take him home. Jeremiah stayed there with his own people.
batindaki ete bazwa Jeremi kati na lopango ya mokonzi mpe bapesaki ye na maboko ya Gedalia, mwana mobali ya Ayikami, mwana mobali ya Shafani, mpo ete azongisa ye na ndako na ye. Boye Jeremi awumelaki kati na bato na ye.
15 During the time that Jeremiah had been kept prisoner in the guard's courtyard, a message from the Lord had come to him:
Wana Jeremi azalaki ya kokangama kati na lopango ya bakengeli, Yawe alobaki na ye:
16 “Go and tell Ebed-melech the Cushite that this is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: I am about to keep my promise I made against this city—to harm it and not to help it—you'll see it for yourself when it happens.
— Kende koyebisa Ebedi-Meleki, moto ya Kushi: « Tala liloba oyo Yawe, Mokonzi ya mampinga, Nzambe ya Isalaele, alobi: ‹ Nakomi pene ya kokokisa makambo oyo nalakaki mpo na engumba oyo, makambo ya pasi kasi ya esengo te; tango makambo yango ekokokisama, ekosalema na miso na yo.
17 But when that day comes I'm going to save you, declares the Lord. You won't be handed over to the people you're afraid of.
Kasi na mokolo wana, nakobatela yo, › elobi Yawe, ‹ okokabama te na maboko ya bato oyo yo ozali kobanga.
18 I promise to rescue you so that you're won't be killed. Your reward will be your life, because you trusted in me, declares the Lord.”
Solo, nakobikisa yo, mpe okokufa na mopanga te; kasi bomoi na yo ekozala bomengo na yo ya bitumba, pamba te otielaka Ngai elikya, elobi Yawe. › »
