< Jeremiah 31 >
1 At that time, I will be the God of all Israel's families, and they will be my people, declares the Lord.
Amin’ izany andro izany, hoy Jehovah, dia ho Andriamanitry ny isam-pianakavian’ ny Isiraely Aho, ary izy ho oloko.
2 This is what the Lord says: The Israelites who survive death by the sword were blessed by the Lord in the desert as they looked for peace and quiet.
Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah: Hahita fitia any an-efitra ny olona izay sisa tsy matin’ ny sabatra; Handeha Aho ka hanome fitsaharana ho an’ ny Isiraely.
3 Long ago the Lord came and told us, My love for you will last forever. I hold you close to me with my trustworthy love.
Tany lavitra any no nisehoan’ i Jehovah tamiko ka nanao hoe: Fitiavana mandrakizay no nitiavako anao, koa izany no nampaharetako famindram-po ho anao.
4 I'm going to rebuild you, and it will happen. You will be rebuilt, Virgin Israel. You will pick up your tambourines again and run outside to dance with joy.
Mbola hanorina anao indray Aho, ka dia hiorina ianao, ry Isiraely virijina! Ary mbola hiravaka mitondra ny ampongatapakao ianao ka hivoaka amin’ ny dihin’ ny mifaly.
5 You will replant vineyards on Samaria's hills; those who plant and will enjoy the grapes.
Mbola hanao tanim-boaloboka ao amin’ ny tendrombohitr’ i Samaria ianao; Ny mpamboly dia hamboly sady hihinana ny vokatra.
6 A day is coming when watchmen will call out from the hills of Ephraim, “Come on, let's go up to Zion, to worship the Lord our God!”
Fa mbola hisy andro hiantsoan’ ny mpitazana any amin’ ny tany havoan’ i Efraima hoe: Mitsangana ianareo, ka andeha isika hiakatra any Ziona, Ho any amin’ i Jehovah Andriamanitsika.
7 This is what the Lord says: Sing happily for the descendants of Jacob; shout for the greatest of all nations! Let everybody know! Praise and call out, “Lord, save your people, those who are left of Israel!”
Fa izao no lazain’ i Jehovah: Mihobia amin’ ny fifaliana noho ny amin’ i Jakoba, ary mifalia noho ny amin’ ny lohan’ ny firenena, torionareo, deraonareo, ka ataovy hoe: Jehovah ô, vonjeo ny olonao, dia ny sisa amin’ ny Isiraely.
8 Watch, because I will bring them back from the land of the north and gather them from the ends of the earth. Everyone will return, even the blind and the lame, pregnant women, even mothers giving birth—a great gathering coming home,
Indro, hitondra azy avy any amin’ ny tany avaratra Aho sy hanangona azy avy any amin’ ny faran’ ny tany, ka dia samy ho eny aminy avokoa na ny jamba na ny mandringa, na izay manan’ anaka na izay mihetsi-jaza; Irai-dia marenina no hiverina atỳ.
9 They will come back with tears in their eyes, and they will be praying as I take them home. I will lead them beside streams of waters, on level paths where they won't stumble. For I am Israel's Father; Ephraim is my firstborn.
Amin’ ny fitomaniana no hihaviany, ary amin’ ny fifonany no hitondrako azy; Ary ho entiko ho eny amoron’ ny renirano izy, amin’ ny lalana mahitsy izay tsy hahatafintohina azy; Fa Rain’ Isiraely Aho, ary Efraima no lahimatoako.
10 Listen, nations, to what the Lord has to say, and let others know about in faraway countries: The Lord who scattered Israel will gather them together and keep them safe, just like a shepherd looks after his flock.
Mihainoa ny tenin’ i Jehovah, ianareo jentilisa, ary torio any amin’ ny tany amoron-tsiraka any lavitra any izany, ka atao hoe: Izay nampiely ny Isiraely no hanangona azy indray sady hitandrina azy toy ny fitandrin’ ny mpiandry ondry ny ondriny.
11 The Lord has redeemed the descendants of Jacob and rescued them from their enemies who had defeated them.
Fa Jehovah efa nanavotra an’ i Jakoba sy efa nanafaka azy tamin’ ny tanan’ ny mahery noho izy.
12 They will return and celebrate with happy shouts on Mount Zion; their faces will beam over the Lord's wonderful gifts—the grain, new wine, and olive oil, and the young of their flocks and herds. Their life will be like a well-watered garden; and they won't ever be depressed again.
Ka dia ho avy ireny ka hihoby ao amin’ ny havoan’ i Ziona, dia hitanjozotra ho any amin’ ny zava-tsoan’ i Jehovah, dia ny vary sy ny ranom-boaloboka sy ny diloilo sy ny zanak’ ondry ary ny zanak’ omby; Ary ny fanahiny ho toy ny tanimboly vonton-drano, ka tsy hihamalazo intsony.
13 The girls will dance in celebration; young men and old people will join in too. I will turn their sorrow into joy, and I will comfort them and change their sadness into happiness.
Ary amin’ izany dia ho faly amin’ ny fandihizana ny virijina mbamin’ ny zatovo sy ny antitra koa; Fa hampodiko ho fifaliana ny fitomaniany, ka hampiononiko sy hampifaliko izy ho afaka alahelo.
14 I will give my priests everything they need and more, and my people will be more than satisfied with my goodness towards them, declares the Lord.
Dia hovokisako zava-matavy ny fanahin’ ny mpisorona, ary ny oloko ho voky ny zava-tsoako, hoy Jehovah.
15 This is what the Lord says: The sound of terrible weeping and mourning is heard in Ramah. It's Rachel crying for her children. They are dead, and she can't be comforted
Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah: Nisy feo re tao Rama, dia fidradradradrana sy fitomaniana fatratra; Rahely nitomany ny zanany, ary tsy azo nampiononina izy noho ny amin’ ny zanany, satria lany ritra ireny.
16 This is what the Lord says: Don't cry anymore, don't weep anymore, because you're going to be rewarded for what you've done, declares the Lord. Your children will return from the country of your enemies.
Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah: Atsaharo ny fitomanianao sy ny fandatsahanao ranomaso; Fa hisy valiny tokoa ny ataonao, hoy Jehovah, ary hody avy any amin’ ny tanin’ ny fahavalo ireny.
17 So you can have hope for the future, declares the Lord. Your children will return to their own country.
Ary misy fanantenana ho anao any am-parany, hoy Jehovah; Fa ny zaza dia hiverina ho any amin’ ny taniny indray.
18 Don't worry, I've heard Ephraim's groans, saying, “You disciplined me really hard as if I was a calf that hadn't been trained. Please bring me back, let me return, for you are the Lord my God.
Efa reko tokoa Efraima nitomany ny tenany hoe: Nofaizanao aho, eny, nofaizana toy ny ombilahy kely tsy voafolaka; Avereno aho, dia ho tafaverina, fa Hianao no Jehovah Andriamanitro.
19 When I came back to you I was sorry, and once I understood, I held my head in sadness. I was ashamed and I blushed, embarrassed at what I'd done when I was young.”
Nony efa niverina tokoa aho, dia vao nahalala fanenenana; Ary rehefa nampahafantarina ny toe-tenako aho, dia niteha-tratra; Menatra sady mangaihay aho, fa latsain’ ny tsinin’ ny fahatanorako.
20 But isn't Ephraim still my precious son, my lovely child? Even though I often have to scold him, I can't forget him. So I'm torn inside with longing, wanting to show how much I care about him! declares the Lord.
Zanako mahafinaritra va Efraima, zaza malalako va izy, no dia fatra-pahatsiaro azy isaky ny mitezitra azy Aho? Noho izany dia onena azy ny foko; Hamindra fo aminy tokoa Aho, hoy Jehovah.
21 Put up markers on the road; make signposts for yourselves. You need to be sure you can find the highway, the road you traveled on. Come back, Virgin Israel, come back to your towns.
Manangàna famantaran-dalana ho anao ianao, manorena tsangam-bato; Saino tsara ny lalana efa voavoatra, dia ilay lalana efa nalehanao; Miverena indray, ry Isiraely virijina, miverena indray ho amin’ ireto tanànanao ireto.
22 How long are you going to waver in your decision, you unfaithful daughter? For the Lord has made something new happen here: a woman is going to protect a man.
Mandra-pahoviana no hirioriovanao, ry zanakavavy mpiodina? Fa Jehovah efa namorona zava-baovao amin’ ny tany: Vehivavy no hanodidina lehilahy.
23 This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: When I bring them back home from exile, they will say again in the land of Judah and in its towns: “May the Lord bless you, holy mountain of Jerusalem, home of what is good and right.
Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, Andriamanitry ny Isiraely: Mbola holavina indray ao amin’ ny tanin’ ny Joda sy ao amin’ ny tanànany izao teny izao, raha hampodiko avy amin’ ny fahababoany izy: Hotahin’ i Jehovah anie ianao, ry fonenan’ ny fahamarinana, sy ry tendrombohitry ny fahamasinana!
24 The people of Judah and all its towns will live together in the land, the farmers and those who move around with their flocks,
Ary ny Joda sy ny tanànany rehetra dia hiara-monina ao aminy ho mpiasa tany sy ho mpilasy mitondra ny andian’ ny ondry aman’ osiny.
25 because I'm going to give rest to those who are tired and give strength to all those who are weak.”
Fa ny fanahy ana dia hampisotroiko, ary ny fanahy mihaosa rehetra dia hovokisako.
26 At this I woke up and looked around. I'd had a very pleasant sleep.
Ary tamin’ izay dia nahatsiaro aho ka nahita; Ary mamiko ny torimasoko.
27 Look! The time is coming, declares the Lord, when I will make the numbers of people and livestock grow in Israel and Judah.
Indro, avy ny andro, hoy Jehovah, ka hafafiko eo amin’ ny taranak’ Isiraely sy ny taranak’ i Joda Ny taranak’ olombelona sy ny taranaky ny biby fiompy.
28 I took care of them by uprooting them and tearing them down, by wiping them out and destroying them and bringing them disaster. Now I will take care of them by building them up and helping them grow, declares the Lord.
Ary toy ny niambenako azy hongotana sy hazera sy harodana sy horavana ary hampahorina, dia ho toy izany no hiambenako azy Haorina sy hambolena kosa, hoy Jehovah.
29 At that time people won't repeat this proverb, “The fathers ate the unripe grapes, but their children got the sour taste.”
Amin’ izany andro izany izy dia tsy hanao intsony hoe: ny ray no nihinana voaloboka maharikivy, ka ny nifin’ ny zanany no madilo.
30 No. Each person will die because of their own sins. If anyone eats unripe grapes, they will get the sour taste themselves.
Fa ny olona rehetra samy ho fatin’ ny helony avy; Izay rehetra homana ny voaloboka maharikivy. Dia izy ihany no hadilo nify.
31 Look! The time is coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new agreement with the people of Israel and Judah.
Indro, avy ny andro, hoy Jehovah, Izay hanaovako fanekena vaovao amin’ ny taranak’ Isiraely sy ny taranak’ i Joda,
32 It won't be like the agreement that I made with their forefathers when I held their hands and led them out of Egypt. They broke that agreement, even though I was faithful like a husband to them, declares the Lord.
Nefa tsy araka ny fanekena nataoko tamin’ ny razany tamin’ ny andro nitantanako azy nitondra azy nivoaka avy tany amin’ ny tany Egypta; Fa izy ireny dia nivadika ny fanekeko, Nefa Izaho no vadiny, hoy Jehovah.
33 But this is the agreement I'm going to make with the people of Israel at that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws inside them and write them in their minds. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
Fa izao no fanekena havoko amin’ ny taranak’ Isiraely. Rehefa afaka izany andro izany, hoy Jehovah: Dia hataoko ao an-tsainy ny lalàko sady hosoratako ao am-pony; Ary Izaho ho Andriamaniny, ary izy ho oloko.
34 No one will need to teach a neighbor or their brother, telling them, “You ought to know the Lord.” For everyone will know me, from the smallest to the greatest. I will forgive them when they do wrong, and I will forget about their sins.
Ary samy tsy hampianatra ny namany sy ny rahalahiny avy intsony izy hoe: Mahalalà an’ i Jehovah; Fa samy hahalala Ahy avokoa izy rehetra. Hatramin’ ny kely indrindra ka hatramin’ ny lehibe indrindra, hoy Jehovah; Fa havelako ny helony, ary tsy hotsarovako intsony ny fahotany.
35 This is what the Lord says, who provides the sun to give light during the day, who places in order the moon and stars to give light at night, who makes the sea rough so that its waves roar; his name is the Lord Almighty:
Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah, Izay manome ny masoandro ho fahazavana amin’ ny antoandro ary ny filahatry ny volana sy ny kintana ho fahazavana amin’ ny alina, Izay mampanonja ny ranomasina, ka dia mirohondrohona ny onjany, Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, no anarany:
36 Only if I allowed this order to fell apart, declares the Lord, would Israel's descendants stop being my people.
Raha miova eo anoloako izany filahatra izany, hoy Jehovah, dia hitsahatra tsy ho firenena eo anatrehako mandrakizay kosa ny taranak’ Isiraely.
37 This is what the Lord says: Only if the heavens above could be measured, and the foundations of the earth below could be investigated, would I reject all of Israel's descendants because of everything they've done, declares the Lord.
Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah: Raha misy maharefy ny lanitra ambony, na mahafantatra ny fanorenan’ ny tany ambany, dia Izaho kosa hanary ny taranak’ Isiraely rehetra noho izay rehetra nataony, hoy Jehovah.
38 The time is coming, declares the Lord, when this city will be rebuilt for the Lord, all the way from the tower of Hananel to the Corner Gate.
Indro, avy ny andro, hoy Jehovah, Izay hanorenana ity tanàna ity indray ho an’ i Jehovah hatramin’ ny tilikambon’ i Hananela ka hatramin’ ny vavahady an-jorony.
39 The builder's measuring line will again stretch out directly to Gareb Hill and then turn toward Goah.
Ary ny famolaina dia mbola hohenjaniko mahitsy hatreo an-tampon’ ny tendrombohitra Gareba, dia hasangodina ho any Goa;
40 The entire valley, where the dead are buried and the trash is dumped, and all the fields from the Kidron Valley as far as the Horse Gate to the east, will be holy to the Lord. Jerusalem will never again be torn down or destroyed.
Ary ny lohasaham-paty sy lavenona rehetra sy ny saha rehetra hatramin’ ny Lohasahan-driaka Kidrona ka hatramin’ ny zoron’ ny vavahadin-tsoavaly atsinanana dia ho masìna ho an’ i Jehovah; Tsy hongotana na horavana intsony izy mandrakizay.
