Jeremiah 30
1 This is the message that came to Jeremiah from the Lord:
౧ఇది యెహోవా నుంచి యిర్మీయాకు వచ్చిన వాక్కు,
2 This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Write down in a book everything I've told you.
౨“ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడైన యెహోవా ఇలా అంటున్నాడు,
3 Look, the time is coming, declares the Lord, when I will bring back my people Israel and Judah from captivity, declares the Lord. I will bring them back to the country I gave to their forefathers, and they will own it again.
౩‘రాబోయే రోజుల్లో నేను ఇశ్రాయేలు వాళ్ళూ, యూదా వాళ్ళైన నా ప్రజలను చెరనుంచి విడిపించి, వాళ్ళ పితరులకు నేనిచ్చిన దేశాన్ని వారు స్వాధీనం చేసుకునేలా వాళ్ళను తిరిగి రప్పిస్తాను,’ అని యెహోవానైన నేను చెప్పాను. కాబట్టి, నేను నీతో చెప్పిన మాటలన్నీ ఒక రాతచుట్టలో రాయి.”
4 This what the Lord said about Israel and Judah.
౪యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలు వాళ్ళ గురించి, యూదా వాళ్ళ గురించి చెప్పిన మాటలివి.
5 This is what the Lord says: Hear the cries of panic, cries of fear, not peace.
౫“యెహోవా ఇలా అంటున్నాడు, ‘భయంతో వణుకుతున్న స్వరం మేం విన్నాం. ఆ స్వరంలో శాంతి లేదు.
6 Think about it! Can men give birth? No. So why do I see every man holding his stomach with his hands like a woman in labor. Why is every face white as a sheet?
౬ప్రసూతి వేదనతో ఒక పురుషుడు బిడ్డను కనగలడా? మీరు అడిగి తెలుసుకోండి. ప్రతి యువకుడు తన నడుము మీద చేతులెందుకు పెట్టుకుంటున్నాడు? ప్రసవ వేదన పడే స్త్రీలా వాళ్ళ ముఖాలు ఎందుకు పాలిపోయాయి?
7 What a terrible day it will be—a day like never before! This is the time of trouble for Jacob's descendants, but they will be rescued from it.
౭అయ్యో, ఎంత భయంకరమైన రోజు! అలాంటి రోజు ఇంకొకటి రాదు. అది యాకోబు సంతతి వాళ్లకు ఆందోళన కలిగించే సమయం. అయినా దానిలోనుంచి అతనికి రక్షణ దొరుకుతుంది.’”
8 On that day, declares the Lord Almighty, I will break the yoke from their necks and tear off their chains. Foreigners won't make them slaves anymore.
౮సేనల ప్రభువు అయిన యెహోవా ఇలా అంటున్నాడు “ఆ రోజు, నీ మెడ మీద ఉన్న నీ కాడి విరిచి, నేను నీ బంధకాలు తెంపుతాను. ఇంక విదేశీయులు నీ చేత దాస్యం చేయించుకోరు.
9 They will serve the Lord their God, and their king, David's descendant whom I will give them.
౯కాని, వాళ్ళు తమ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను ఆరాధించి, నేను వాళ్ళ మీద రాజుగా చేసే తమ రాజైన దావీదును సేవిస్తారు.
10 As far as you're concerned, my servant Jacob, don't be afraid, declares the Lord, Israel, don't be discouraged. I promise to save you from your distant places of exile, your descendants from the countries where they're being held captive. The descendants of Jacob will go home to a quiet and comfortable life, free from any threats.
౧౦కాబట్టి, నా సేవకుడవైన యాకోబూ, భయపడకు, యెహోవా చేప్పేదేమంటే, ‘ఇశ్రాయేలూ, దిగులు పడకు. దూరంగా ఉన్న నిన్ను, బందీలుగా ఆ దేశంలో ఉన్న నీ సంతతి వాళ్ళను, నేను రక్షించబోతున్నాను. యాకోబు సంతతి తిరిగి వచ్చి, శాంతి కలిగి ఉంటుంది. అతడు సురక్షితంగా ఉంటాడు, భయభీతులు ఇంక ఉండవు.
11 I am with you and I will save you, declares the Lord. Even though I'm going to completely destroy all the nations where I scattered you, I won't completely destroy you. However, I will discipline you as you deserve, and you can be sure I won't leave you unpunished.
౧౧ఎందుకంటే, నేను నీతో ఉన్నాను,’ యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదే, ‘నిన్ను రక్షించడానికి నేను నీకు తోడుగా ఉన్నాను, నిన్ను ఏ దేశాల్లోకైతే చెదరగొట్టానో, ఆ దేశాలన్నిటినీ నేను సమూల నాశనం చేస్తాను. కాని, నిన్ను మాత్రం పూర్తిగా నాశనం చెయ్యను. అయితే నిన్ను తగిన క్రమశిక్షణలో పెడతాను. శిక్ష లేకుండా మాత్రం నిన్ను విడిచిపెట్టను.’
12 This is what the Lord says: You have a wound that cannot be healed, you have a terrible injury.
౧౨యెహోవా ఇలా అంటున్నాడు, ‘నీ దెబ్బ నయం కాదు. నీ గాయం మానని పుండుగా అయ్యింది.
13 There's no one to take care of your case, no cure for your sores, no healing for you.
౧౩నీ పక్షంగా వాదించేవాళ్ళు ఎవరూ లేరు. నీ పుండు నయం చేసే మందు లేదు.
14 All your lovers have forgotten about you; they don't bother looking for you anymore, because I have beaten you as if I were your enemy, the discipline of a cruel person, because of how wicked you are, because of your many sins.
౧౪నీ ప్రేమికులంతా నిన్ను మరిచిపోయారు. వాళ్ళు నీ కోసం చూడరు. ఎందుకంటే, అధికమైన నీ పాపాలనుబట్టి, నీ గొప్ప దోషాన్నిబట్టి, ఒక కఠినమైన యజమాని పెట్టే క్రమశిక్షణ కింద నిన్ను ఉంచి, ఒక శత్రువు గాయపరిచినట్టు నేను నిన్ను గాయపరిచాను.
15 Why are you crying over your wound? You pain can't be cured. I did this to you because of how wicked you are, because of your many sins.
౧౫నీ గాయాన్నిబట్టి నువ్వు సాయం కోసం అడుగుతున్నావా? నీ బాధ తీరనిది. విస్తారమైన నీ పాపాలనుబట్టి, అనేకమైన నీ దోషాలను బట్టి నేను నీకు ఇలా చేశాను.
16 Even so, everyone who destroys you will be destroyed. All your enemies, every last one, will be sent into exile. Those who plundered you will be plundered, and all who robbed you will be robbed.
౧౬కాబట్టి, నిన్ను దిగమింగే వాళ్ళెవరో, వాళ్ళనే దిగమింగడం జరుగుతుంది. నీ ప్రత్యర్దులందరూ బందీలుగా చెరలోకి వెళ్తారు. నిన్ను దోచుకున్నవాళ్ళు దోపుడు సొమ్ము అవుతారు. నిన్ను కొల్లగొట్టిన వాళ్ళను కొల్లసొమ్ముగా చేస్తాను.
17 But I will give you back your health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord, because people say you've been abandoned and that no one cares about you, Zion.
౧౭నీకు స్వస్థత తీసుకొస్తాను. నీ గాయాలను స్వస్థపరుస్తాను.’” ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు. “ఎందుకంటే వాళ్ళు ‘సీయోను వెలి వేయబడింది. దాన్ని పట్టించుకునే వాడు లేడు’ అని నీ గురించి అన్నారు గనుక, నేను ఈ విధంగా చేస్తాను.”
18 This is what the Lord says: I will bring Jacob's descendants back to their homes and have mercy on their families. The city will be rebuilt on top of its ruins, and the palace once again stand where it should.
౧౮యెహోవా ఇలా అంటున్నాడు “చూడు, యాకోబు నివాసస్థలాలను కరుణించి అతని గుడారాల మీద నేను కనికరం చూపిస్తాను. అప్పుడు శిథిలాల గుట్ట మీద ఒక పట్టణం నిర్మాణం అవుతుంది. ఇదివరకు ఉన్నట్టే ఒక స్థిరమైన నివాసం ఏర్పాటవుతుంది.
19 People will be singing songs of thanks, the sounds of celebration. I will increase their number—they will not become less. I will honor them—they will not be treated as insignificant.
౧౯అప్పుడు వాటిలోనుంచి ఒక స్తుతి కీర్తన, ఒక వేడుక శబ్దం బయటకు వస్తుంది. ప్రజలు తక్కువ సంఖ్యలో లేకుండా నేను వాళ్ళను విస్తరింపజేస్తాను. అల్పులు కాకుండా నేను వాళ్ళకు ఘనత కలుగజేస్తాను.
20 Their children will be looked after like they used to be. I will make their nation strong again, and punish anyone who attacks them.
౨౦వాళ్ళ ప్రజలు మునుపటిలా ఉంటారు. వాళ్ళను హింసించే వాళ్ళందరినీ నేను శిక్షించినప్పుడు, వాళ్ళ సమాజం నా ఎదుట స్థిరం అవుతుంది.
21 Their leader will be from their own country, their ruler will be chosen from among them. I will invite him to come close to me, and he will do so, for would anyone dare to approach me without being asked? declares the Lord.
౨౧వాళ్ళ నాయకుడు వాళ్ళల్లోనుంచే వస్తాడు. నేను వాళ్ళను ఆకర్షించినప్పుడు, వాళ్ళు నన్ను సమీపించినప్పుడు, వాళ్ళ మధ్య నుంచి అతడు బయలుదేరుతాడు. నేను ఇది చెయ్యకపోతే, నన్ను సమీపించే సాహసం ఎవడు చెయ్యగలడు?” ఇది యెహోవా వాక్కు.
22 You will be my people, and I will be your God.
౨౨“అప్పుడు మీరు నా ప్రజలుగా ఉంటారు. నేను మీ దేవుడుగా ఉంటాను.
23 Watch out! The Lord has sent out a furious storm, a tornado swirling around the heads of the wicked.
౨౩చూడు, యెహోవా ఉగ్రత పెనుగాలిలా బయలుదేరింది. అది ఎల్లప్పుడూ వీచే పెనుగాలి. అది సుడిగాలిలా దుష్టుల తలల మీద గిరగిరా తిరుగుతుంది.
24 The Lord's anger won't fade until he's finished doing everything he wants. Only then will you really understand.
౨౪తన కార్యం జరిగించే వరకూ, తన హృదయాలోచనలు నెరవేర్చే వరకూ యెహోవా కోపాగ్ని చల్లారదు. చివరి రోజుల్లో మీరు దీన్ని అర్థం చేసుకుంటారు.”
